The chef knows what they are doing, high quality meats, great flavor, and they deliver if you're in the area. Rotating menu and Very personable. Very happy I found them.“

“One of my favorite LA restaurants. The food is always good, regardless of what night of the week or weekend you go there. The oxtail dumplings, snap peas, octopus skewers, and the eggplants are my favorite small dishes and the ribeye and the whole snapper are the favorite mains. The only food item that I had and did not like was the skirt steak. It had no flavor whatsoever.Top it all off with the strawberry custard and the chocolate bar for dessert.“

“Two Hommés is a culinary gem tuck away in Inglewood right next to the Ralphs on LaBrea and Centinela. I walked in during Sunday Brunch and I was welcomed by bigs smiles by the host. I learned that Two Hommés serves west African fusion and high quality food.I supported this Black-Owned business and ordered their house made crab cakes. They so fresh, delicious, and tasty. The owner Chef AB was so kind and lovely. He added grits, a biscuit, and a lemonade. 10/10 I recommend.“

“What a great restaurant. The food was delicious from the appetizers, main dishes, deserts and drinks. We were a party of 13 plus 3 under 3 for my wife's birthday. From the moment we arrived, the owner, Fred, met us and made sure we were well cared for, the same care he gave each table. The staff never rushed us and made sure everyone's needs were met including getting the kids orders out quickly while the rest of us celebrated. This is a rare find in today's restaurant world and our whole family looks forward to visiting and dining there soon. Thanks to Fred and his wonderful staff.Kid-friendliness: Our kids ranged from 3 months to 12 years. Except for the 3 month old, the 5 other kids were served quickly so they weren't waiting and melting down when the parents got their dinners. A real plus!“

“Eggs bacon and waffles were spectacular! Waffles stands out by being light, fluffy and undeniably the best waffles I have ever had. I asked to separate waffles from eggs and bacon and think this is the way to go! French toast, burrito were also very good. Only drawback was it was a bit on the expensive side for breakfast - 30/pp. I guess you pay for quality!!“

“Me and my wife went here as a last-minute anniversary meal. We didn't book but managed to get a place at the bar to eat. The service and food were excellent, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I'd recommend the short rib beef to anyone that cared to listen. We sloped into the Old Man bar afterward for a final cocktail to finish the night. Drinks are a little pricey, if I'm honest, but the quality was there in abundance. I can't wait to go again.“

“I always enjoy the food at Manhattan Bch Urban Plates. Everything is delicious, nicely presented and is hot when it arrives at your table. The restaurant is very clean and has a great ambiance. And I can’t say enough about Sandro. He is friendly, supremely attentive and leaves nothing to chance. Consider yourself lucky if Sandro is working the day you visit this location.“

“The 6 of us were seated right away. The staff was knowledgeable (great rundown of the red wine options), attentive, and efficient. We ordered a bunch of dishes and the food was as great as ever. “Good food. We ordered the chicken Cesar salad, pepperoni pizza and truffle pizza.The first two were very delicious. The brie-truffle pizza was simply alright.But lets talk about that homemade giant cinnamon roll though …. I’d drive all the way there to satisfy that craving any day!The cappuccino was good too. “I'm looking forward to my next stop at MB Post. I had a reservation for 3 at 7:15 on a Saturday night. We arrived a little early, checked in and waited at the bar for our table. The bar was crowded and the staff busy but our drink order was taken quickly. Cocktails were delicious, #Blessed will be my go-to here. It took a bit longer to get our drinks than we had anticipated. We waited for our table about 20 minutes beyond the time of our reservation and we had to circle back to the host to inquire how much longer before we would be seated. Our table was in the corner next to the kitchen and a service nook, loud and busy; next time I'll make a note to request a table away from the kitchen. It's a boisterous restaurant and the corner amplified the energy. We ordered the carrots, gnocchi, green beans and biscuits---all were incredibly delicious with the green beans being our favorite. Our server was prompt, courteous, food arrived without a long delay. We enjoyed Lola cab sauv with dinner. I gave the 4 stars for the service at the bar our need to check on our table. Overall a great experience and I will certainly be back.“

“I should have gotten a photo of the back room but it was a fun vibe. Classic Audrey Hepburn meets designer fashion decor. The chairs were animal print and the wall colors were bold pink and blue. We all had burgers and we all thought they were delicious. I had the curry veggie burger (without the curry sauce because it's made from chicken stock) and it was yummy. I wish they offered fully vegetarian option though. I appreciated their lemonades as the mocktails. I had the guava lemonade and next time I want to try the lavender lemonade. The service was good. “My partner and I came in for breakfast. We had the Quiche and the American Breakfast. The quiche was very good but the fries it came with were not. The bacon that came with the American breakfast had good flavor but was overcooked. We also shared a pancake, we did like the pancake but felt it was a little undercooked. Overall a nice experience, but we expected more from the food. We might try again for other dishes.“

“Pure perfection. The hostess and server (Elias) were fantastic by their own accord but then the food came! My husband had the crab cake Benedict and I had the seard ahi salad. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and the staff (Aerin, Spencer, Emma, and Maya) were all so helpful and accommodating. It sounds like a cliche given the name, but the energy of the space and the employees is exactly what'd you hope for when you think of the phrase "SoCal Vibes."On top of all that, the cost for the birthday was less than half of what a few other comparable bar/restaurants in the Venice/SM area were quoting me. That's not a knock on the other places, SCV is just very reasonably priced if you're looking to host a large group. Highly recommend anyone reading this consider SoCal Vibes whether you're planning an event or just need somewhere to unwind on the west side.“

“A good friend and I went to Cafe Vida last minute for lunch. I figured it must be good since there was a quite a few people. We ordered the chips and guacamole to start. So tasty. “My family and I come here pretty regularly. The food and service is always fantastic! We especially love the garlic knots, the wings and the meatballs. Pizza is incredible as well! The fettucine alfredo is REALLY delicious as well, one of the best I've ever had. One thing we were not impressed with however was the chocolate cake, so I wouldn't recommend it. But then again we don't come here for the dessert!“

As someone who has dealt with VB personally at my business, I award the patience of this establishment for continuing to let her in over and over again. There are booths & a counter inside but why would you sit inside if the outside is refreshing? Lol There is usually a pup or two on the patio that is generally calm. “Usually adult themed place since it took multiple calls to find out about "meet and greet" passes, the staff answering knew nothing... But we were there for a kid concert. Other then the 2nd opening act saying the F word every other second, the staff during the event, and the reason we were there was top notch. AJA was the girl who likes to swear in front of 10-16 year olds and get one fan supporting her (literally 6 women who woo-hoo'ed her and agreed with things she was talking about kids know nothing about). Gavin Magnus was great though!“

“This location has gone under numerous names and owners over the years but this incarnation is the best so far. Great beer options, well stocked bar, and a very good kitchen are all available to the visitor. I came by for lunch and ordered the cheese steak sandwich. It was AMAZING. They use truffle cheese, great bread, and the whole thing was delicious. Small pickle slice and pickled veggie garnish was a great touch. Service is solid and the place was not very crowded at noontime. Lots of live music and other stuff going on at night too.“

Also, while eating the food, I felt how sincere the chef and owner are about the food.
