“Great, very casual breakfast and lunch restaurant very close to LAX. We arrived home very late and stayed overnight at the LAX Hyatt regency. The Original Rinaldi's is on the same side of the street and less than one block from the Hyatt Regency. We did not want an expensive hotel breakfast. Walked in to Rinaldi's and got a very warm welcome. They have different coffees so we tried the iced Vietnamese coffee in recognition of our completed trip. The coffee was terrific. Breakfast items were fresh, tasty, and healthy. Got a bottle of Langer's OJ to wash it down - cold and refreshing. Chatted with the nice lady that took our order. Excellent way to enjoy a reasonably priced breakfast or lunch near the airport. Or, not a bad idea to pre order food and take it on your flight.“

“I just left Yo-Way Eatery about 30 minutes ago. Yo-Way did it again!!! My sandwich was huge and delicious. I'd like to go on and on but I would just be repeating what I said in my last review. “Monroe Place gets crowded with online orders for good reason, their sandwiches are to die for. Yet, they never forget to take good care of in person orders (usually get food within 5 minutes). Definitely recommend coming in store and trying their sandwiches and meeting the amazing people who make them! Seriously unique sandwich recipes made in heaven!“

“I ordered the Pastrami Sandwich to go. The Pastrami Sandwich was amazing, tender and not really fatty, thinly sliced and so juicy. The sandwich came with a generous portion of potato salad that has a sweet mustard taste that is light and not too heavy. A pickle completes the meal that has a nice crunch. “Love the Lokal Dac Biet Banh Mi (Old Skool) and their milk tea with boba. They always hit the spot! Everything is super consistent and tasty. Their milk tea boba is actually just as good as a boba shop. I got less sweet and less ice — it was perfect. There are two types of Dac biet you can get, one has more toppings like pork floss and more meat while the other is a more basic Dac biet. Read the description before you order to make sure you get the one you want. Chicken is also good. They have other food items too like sandwiches and pancakes. I just haven’t checked them out because I always get the banh mi — and honestly I don’t think I will. Nothing wrong on their part but the banh mi is too good and always exactly what I want.Most of the banh mi comes with mayo, pate, or both. They’re not always listed out when you’re ordering from an app. They allow modifications so just make sure you let them know somehow (either denote it or write it out in the online order text box).“

“I don’t know how I haven’t found this place sooner! I had the Ng sub, a small thing of mac salad, as well as a bundaberg soda today. I have really bad (like *really* bad) TMJ, so a lot of the breads at delis can be really hard for me to eat (too thick/dense/hard), but the bread was perfect and tasty. The meat was good, veggies were fresh, and the mac salad was delicious too. I was impressed with their selection of drinks and chips as well, and they had some healthy soda’s that are pretty uncommon. I’m so happy I found it, and I’ll definitely be back!“

“Our go to place weekly for gourmet salad, sandwiches, soup and sides! My favorite is avocado and quinoa salad, followed by the pink lady salad which we ordered today. The turkey sausage and kale soup is also delicious. Highly recommend this over Sweet Greens next door as they are more filling and not as expensive.“

“Mendo is always a good lunch option. Good salads and filling sandwiches are found throughout the menu. I've never had a bad meal nor left a Mendocino Farms feeling hungry. Service is quick. Food is consistently good. Service is friendly and the locations are clean. You really cannot find anything to be picky about. They treat the customers right. They use good ingredients. “Was summoned to jury duty and was looking for good places to eat and that were quick. This place was close and as soon as I walked in they were very nice and there were a few people in here but I don't mind the wait cause the reviews were great and had great options. The sandwich although looked very simple it was very flavorful for sure. I got the Turkey Sandwich with some Miss Vickey's jalapeño chips. The quality could have been a bit better of the bread like a quality(Sourdough) instead of the regular white Artesian bread but was yummy.“

“Mendocino was amazing! I had tried it once before at a different location but the El Segundo location was a much better experience! “The sandwiches were huge! We ordered the Beast Mode, Kids Turkey and Cheese and Madison Bumgarner. We ordered it through Grubhub due to us being in the area at a hotel in a layover so the sandwiches were a little pricey. The Mountain Dew we ordered was not delivered; I’m not too sure of that was due to Ike’s not putting it in the bag or the delivery driver taking it.Overall great experience and good food.“

Subs, the Charlies Special, Pastrami, and fresh made Tuna or Chicken salad are all on my list of faves! Potato and Mac salad sides or fresh made soups round it out. A staple for the Port community for years, and not what you would expect to find inside an Arco station. “Nice view. Service is good.I had brisket and bacon. However, it seems the bacon was heated too quickly, resulting in some charred bits. The overpowering taste of the burned bacon dominated my sandwich. After removing the bacon, the sandwich was pretty good.“

“If you are going on your lunch break ORDER AHEAD online and you will be fine. If you are going to lunch sitting down during peak time, you will be serviced nicely. If you are just walking in, expect to wait a bit. They have quite the system going on here. They have people prepping the food and making sure its fresh, people taking orders, people packing up to-go orders, people servicing the tables. You will never feel like a certain group is getting prioritized more than you. They take care of walk ins, to-go orders, app orders, and table service efficiently and with a smile. I usually order ahead on the app and even when I have had to wait and ask about the status of my order, they ACTUALLY check on the status of my order and report back. This place is fresh, consistent, friendly, and always busy. This place is always busy, but clean, and could be a cool place to get work done if you have headphones.“

“I've gotten around 12 sandwiches in the past month.The app makes mistakes and glitches atleast the android version that I use on Samsung 22+. So order from app and include instructions incase your choices don't show properly.If the store makes a mistake and you inform them by review or in person they fix it. At first my order was screwed up a few times, but after that they very rarely made a mistake.Also know that if you order early AM it will be ready fast but expect stale bread. If I order afternoon the bread is better but it's the lunch rush so it might be delayed a little or the order might have a mistake because it's rushed.“

“We were in Los Angeles for the day on a layover so we decided to hang out in the El Segundo area. While walking down Main Street our plan was to eat and drink at as many local places as we had time for. First stop for grub was Big Mike's because they opened at 10:30am. We ordered a six inch steak and cheese with grilled onions and sweet peppers. We watched our sandwich being made and then it was delivered to the table steamy hot and fresh. The bun was the perfect "back east" Philly bun, soft and pillowy and it was loaded with tasty shaved steak and loads of gooey cheese. We were the first ones there but by the time we were done eating the place was filling up. Definitely a good first stop for food.“

“Haven't been to a Lee's in years and it's actually a pretty decent chain for what it is. Just a quick and cheap banh mi and a lot of other options that'll do the job in a pinch.We stopped by really early in the morning before a flight and it was short and sweet. We also grabbed some pastries too and they were very hot and yummy. It's not the cheapest in town but it's still worth it.“

“The first time I tried FireHouse I got a Philly Cheese Steak. The meat was cold. I was pissed and vowed never to go again. Then Uber Eats had a sale buy one sub get one free so I got a cold sandwich this time. The Italian (kind of like a Subway cold cut but with Italian dressing and seasoning. Very very good. Even told my mother who also had tried a sub and was not impressed and she got the Italian too for her and my dad bc the sub is huge. She loved it as well so I guess they redeemed themselves with three people.“

There are other eateries that make sub sandwiches but I prefer Jersey mikes I am going through their menu item by item so far they are all fantastic. I do have two favorites.
