“It was a nice rainy day for coffee and breakfast. We are new to the area, and we were curious to try the local spots. Walking into Jack’s Place we were greeted by their friendly hosts. It was a bit of a wait (about 25 minutes) but the atmosphere in the restaurant made it go fast. Their coffee was really good and I got the Jack’s stuffed French toast. Amazing! My wife got the fat Elvis pancakes, Really worth it. Our waitress and all the staff was very kind. Will be coming back for sure!”

“Great food and service and ambiance! Ordered Red snapper sandwich with fries & shrimp with creole sauce and black beans. Had a wonderful Pinot noir. A bit expensive at 18$ a glass but incredibly delicious! We had coffee & flan for dessert! Yum! Will be back!”

“WOW! This place is phenomenal! Worth the drive and worth the price. My husband and I split the tomahawk and it was like BUTTER! So tender! I had the Cowboy Wake Up Call Old Fashioned and it was AMAZING! They safeguard their recipes and I can see why! This cocktail is one of my favorite bourbon cocktails I have ever had! The grits are also so flavorful and many people in our party (who don't even like grits) raved about the flavor of them.”

Took a friend there last week that I hadn't seen in years and the staff graciously allowed us to spend time catching up. Had not been to Otto's since 2003 but whenever I'm back in the AV, I will be back!”

“Started going there with my Friends. It is one of our Birthday Celebration Meet-ups. The food is great, with attention to detail. 4 out of the 5 times I've been the service has been excellent. The last visit, middle of the week, for lunch for some reason there was only (1) server, who also had to do bar which, slowed things down quite a bit, but he did great under the circumstances. Other than that one experience, I highly recommend this place.Parking: Open parking in a strip mall. So far no issues finding a place to park.”

“Love rare tea! My sister and I always come here for their matcha (literally best matcha anywhere in the av area) and whenever we change our go to order we're never disappointed by their overall quality in their drinks. The employees are always super nice and the shop itself is spacious and super clean. Best boba shop in the av area honestly especially since you can change their sweetness.”

“Another Evening at work on a Thursday, Another food adventure with my Coworker Katia. She didn't wanna be eating anything unhealthy so she chose to have a smoothie and I tagged a long to have a Açaí bowl which I use to get all the time when I stayed in Northridge we had one on campus and it got me right EVERY time! So I went ahead and ordered one and it was my absolute favorite ! I love how cute they are with the presentation because like me it matters! I knew the moment I seen it I had to take a nice picture ! I forgot to get a picture of my Coworkers drink but she drank it in like 5 minutes. It was a kale green looking smoothie and she loved it. We decided this may be a tradition from now on !”

“Saw it on Cupcake Wars years ago & My Mom, Daughter & I went ordered a few different ones & they were all FABULOUS. Then, in January 2024, we were celebrating my Mom's 85th & my Grandsons 1st Birthday in Palmdale, so my daughter wanted to do cupcakes from Nadias. What a great idea. We were able to get a variety & a slightly bigger cupcake for the Birthday Boy. They were just as good as we remembered. My favorite on both times I visited was the Cheesecake with fruit & the lemon cupcake. All were very good though.”

“Very good service! I believe the guy who is the owner of the place attended to us. We made a quick stop for some good coffee and this place did not let us down. We also ended up having a sandwich from there. I had a regular ham on croissant. It was ok, nothing too special on the sandwich however the coffee was great! It has a good taste to it. Would recommend for a quick coffee shop.”

I got the camarones Mexicanos and would absolutely recommend it. the number of options was astounding and the seasoning was great if I were to offer any improvements they would be paper take out containers(they offered aluminum in place of styrofoam out of kindness) I would update the playlist with a few more songs maybe play different songs”

“Came here for breakfast since they open at 10am and I was not disappointed. The food was amazing! I got the dumpling noodle soup with beef, tonkatsu ramen, chicken fried rice, and egg rolls! And let me say, wow!! Everything was simply delicious! Got an espresso as well which definitely helped me jump start my day. Would definitely recommend coming here!Parking: Lots of space available.”

“One Stop Bakery has been our go-to cake place for a few years now!!! This time did not disappoint. I had requested the cake for a day that was pretty full. They worked with a few ideas I had found for the cake and made it happen!! The cake was both beautiful and delicious! We always get so many compliments. They even gave us a tiny version of the cake to have my 1 year old smash! Thank you guys for always making our cakes special!!”

“BIG BOWL OF BIRRIAWent there today.... The food was very good... I just had one issue... They should really have a picture on the menu of the birria in a big giant bowl the way they actually serve it in the restaurant... I almost didn't buy any because their menu doesn't show the huge bowl of birria... The menu actually shows it in some kind of plastic container, which is a "no go" for me... So I almost left without buying it but my friend pressured me into buying it... And then it came... A big giant beautiful bowl of birria in a ceramic bowl... It was delicious... I recommend it to everyone... So if you don't see the big bowl in the restaurant menu.... Fear not coz it's big and delicious... I kinda wish I would of gotten the girl who works there's name coz I kinda was rude to her because not seeing the bowl kinda made me mad... I wish I would of apologized to her... I hope she reads this review and accepts my apology... I was in a hurry to leave and didn't tell her directly... I'll do it next time I go coz the food was definitely very good and I'll be going back...”
