“The check in person, and the waiter were great. Had sushi and it excellent. We didn't have reservations, so we didn't have the chef cook right in front of us. However the reservation patrons were having a great time. Had a very nice time.“
“I've been to this restaurant for years; it is a nice thing to be able to say that despite living just due north of Roseville, which is filled to the brim with amazing places to eat, here in Lincoln, like 5 minutes from my house is the best Japanese Restaurant in Northern California. From the service to the prices to the actual quality of food, this is by far one of the best restaurants I've ever been to, and their food is outrageously good.“
“I travel for work every week and have to come to the area for the work I perform at nearby Beale AFB. I usually stay at the Residence Inn, however it was booked. I arrived Tuesday March 12th at about 430pm and was lookig for a good meal since I only had breakfast. I found this restaurant after a quick search and found out it was open recently as it was not there last time I visited. I sat at the sushi bar. Ordered hot green tea, my go to to relax me after my flight and drive from Sacramento airport. I then ordered the shashimi appetizer which was blue fin, golden salmon and pepperfin tuna. Excellent presentation and umami. I then ordered the spicy Gyunika ramen. The flavor of the soy broth and thin noodles made my day. The tender short rib and soft boiled egg were fantastic. The entire bowl was amazing. I then ordered the Ankimo, monkfish liver or the foie gras of the sea. The smooth texture, crisp cucumber, roe, and fig made this 5 portion plate well worth it. Dont think of the word liver when ordering and enjoy the plating and fantastic umami. I finished with yuzu cheescake and the soft creamy texture and chocolate was perfect way to end my meal, along with another cup of green tea. I decided that I would be back the next day Wednesday for more. I went back on the next day for dinner again and sat at the bar. This time I ordered the Seared Tuna Tataki, Unagi Don and green tea cheesecake. I again ordered a hot green tea, my go to even at home after a long day. The seared Tuna melts in your mouth and has very good flavor. I enjoyed every bite. I then ordered the Unagi Don, fresh water eel over sushi rice. It was amazing. The eel sauce and bbq eel were perfect and the extra sauce dripping into the rice made it even better. Finishing off with the green tea cheese cake and tea. I checked my schedule and I will be back in June for a week, can't wait to try more on the menu next time I am in town. As someone that travels 80% of every month all over the country and world I typically only eat Asian style foods when travelling; it is lighter , fresher and typically quieter in their restuarants. This is important for someone on the road like me all the time. Fantastic food and customer service.“
“I rarely give a 5 star review, but this place deserves it.Service was prompt and courteous. The server clearly knew the menu well and she made recommendations to us and accommodations for us. We were in a group, but she provided separate tickets. She didn’t hover, but was watchful when we needed refills of their truly delicious green tea and boxes at the end of our meal. There is a wide variety of dishes on the menu. The lunch special is chicken teriyaki. A large serving of grilled chicken comes with white rice, a green salad, and your choice of potstickers or sushi roll. The chicken was grilled and served without sauce. Bottles of teriyaki, soy and sriracha were on the table so we could season our plate as we liked. Everyone was pleased with their choice and there were three clean plates at our table.Though this place is in a small strip mall across from Sierra College, it was very quiet inside. An absolute must for us aging diners! My ticket was $20, which is about in line with lunch specials these days and considering the generosity of the servings. Planning to return to try the fish!“
“This ramen was delicious. They say the broth is stewed for 72 hours and it really shows as it was rich and savory--and very spicy for the kara-miso. Our food was delivered less than ten minutes after sitting down, and they were patient with us even though we waited fifteen minutes for thr third member of our party to show. Excellent food and some of the best in the Sacramento Greater Area.“
“Came here for lunch for the 1st time last week. So good! I don't eat sushi, but the veggie roll and the mango shrimp avocado rolls were so good! Prices also reasonable and the service was awesomeKid-friendliness: They have something for everyone in the family“
“Tried this for the first time tonight after having I love Teriyaki for years. I can say this restaurant blows them out of the water. Absolutely delicious, it has the perfect amount of spicy kick and everything was fresh as could be. If I could rate this 6 stars I would. I'll be back again soon. If you like a good spicy kick, it is a must visit. The Thai chicken is to die for.“
“We had 5 children with us, the team that took care of us were kind and patient with our brood. The food was delicious and seemed to be on the bigger side of sushi rolls. The sushi came out chilled, it was refreshing. They even made a "kids" ramen for us with noodles and broth only. They were on top of refills and checked on us often even though we sat outside, and they were busy. This will be a must for us when we visit again.Kid-friendliness: We had 5 kids with us 13,12,8,4,and 2 they had something for everyone and even made "kid friendly" chopsticks so they could use them if they wanted. They also brought out forks just in case. They had kid cups and made sure they had everything they could need.In the restroom it would be nice to have a changing tableWheelchair accessibility: It would be a tight fit but definitely doable. The restroom is big enough for a chair to fit comfortably along with a caregiver if needed.“
“Most likely my favorite place to go for sushi, in any city I have been in (including San Francisco). You will never find a better sushi buffet than Raku, and they have two locations in the area (Sacramento and Roseville), and both are amazing.“
“Hubby and I wanted to try a new sushi place. So I googled "best sushi place near me". This place popped up. It was pretty good. Small place great for a date night. We ordered 3 different kinds of sushi, galleria, California roll and forgot the 3rd one name but it was really good. We'll have to come bsck and try other kinds.“
“My wife and I always order the sashimi platter. The seafood is always so fresh. The rolls we had were also wonderful. The food has always been great. I want to give huge props to our server, Nomi! She was outstanding! Very kind and quick with suggestions when asking what we wanted. She made my granddaughters 16th birthday wonderful! Thank you Nomi!“
“Honestly, one of the best value AYCE sushi experience I’ve had in a while. We had the COURSE A AYCE option ($30/person) and the variety of foods and selection of sushi was overwhelming (in a good way). The fish was fresh and tasty. Shrimp and veggie tempura was great.Service was also top notch. Our server came by often to check-in and take additional orders and food came out incredibly quickly. Will definitely be back.“
“We got there around 5:45 on a Saturday in the place was really busy. We had about a half hour wait for a table but it turned out to be worth it. The food was excellent and so was the service. The prices were quite reasonable. We will definitely be going back.“
“As someone that lives in San Diego and has fresh fish all around me, this place was head and shoulders above any other place I’ve tried. First of all, the restaurant was supremely clean and smelled great! No fishiness detected. The people were all friendly and prompt. Service was fast. I had the salmon and albacore nigiri and they were amazing! Huge portions and tasted so good!! By and away the best sushi I’ve had anywhere. My friend had some of their rolls and those were equally good too. Their menu was very large and prices were decent too.I will be back here every time I find myself in Sacramento. The restaurant may look small andnondescript, but it is well worth the visit. You’ll be thanking yourself that you did.“
“They are really sweet here and quality food! They have a ton of options for dessert and some shopping for unique items. Each of us ordered something different and it was all equally good. Our favorite dessert was the chocolate frozen wafer ice cream. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!“
“We ate at their Eureka location. Busy Friday night, waited 40 minutes for a table. When this place gets busy, it's loud. They could use additional soft materials or sound absorbing panels. Once we were seated (party of 7) service was good. Ordered a number of platters, sashimi appetizers, hamachi collars, and extra pickled wasabi. Fish is always fresh and presentation appetizing.“
“Busy for a Friday night, but it was delicious! The best sushi in Rocklin. Very friendly. In fact they were giving away sake shots towards the end of night cause they didn't want the bottle to waste. Then we looked at our bill, they forgot to charge me my two beers. Food was yummy!“
“Gina, the manager could not have been more professional and courteous. It was my first time here, so I asked for a recommendation I told her I did like seafood, and the seafood combination Ramen that I got was hands-down, the best I’ve had in California so far, I will continue to come here for the food, and for the great service that Gina and her staff Supply!“
“PK Sushi is an excellent choice for fulfilling your sushi desire. They provide a diverse selection of rolls and other Japanese cuisine.Their establishment is conveniently located in Rocklin, making it easily accessible for individuals residing in the Sacramento region.Additionally, their exceptional service and pleasant musical ambiance contribute to an enjoyable dining experience.“
“I was at a nearby hotel for work and searched for sushi nearby. Based on menu options and reviews, I came to Sushi Kuma and it was bomb! The fish was super fresh, perfect sauces, and everything melted in my mouth. When I arrived, I was the only one there because it was later in the evening. The service was friendly and hospitable. I’m so thankful they stayed open to their stated hours so I could enjoy this place. I’ll be back.“
“I really like this place. But it really depends on what you get. The servings are huge and service is great. The sesame chicken is a bust. The teriyaki chicken is ok. The pork noodle bowl is really the golden ticket and we come here weekly for it. The tempura is also clutch. Any bad reviews are because the person just didn’t order the right thing. We have had some inconsistency with the pork noodle bowl which we have chalked up to different cooks. But other than that it’s pretty tasty.“
“I loved the idea of multiple different business being joined together in one location with one kitchen. Easy to order and mix and match food from different cuisines. They have it all. The Sushirrito was ok. I got the Salmon one and I did not expect the salmon to be cooked. The crab roll was very refreshing though. All the sauces are super delicious. Plenty of parking and outside and inside seating areas. Gives out more of a fast food vibe.“
“Delicious food that’s made to order, even the fries! I got the chicken shawarma bowl with a side of fries and was thoroughly impressed with the quality and taste. Customer service was super friendly and happily gave me extra sauce on the side when I asked.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“Amazing food and experience! Hopefully they are able to get a liquor license for Tequila or Mezcal, but still the cucumber gimlet is perfect. The staff is very polite, explained the mains, explained the history of the restaurant and the inspiration. Thank you for an amazing time! We'll be back!“
