“Urban Roots is my favorite spot for barbecue. While it may be a bit pricey, you can upgrade your smoked meat selection to a combo meal for an additional charge, which includes a side salad, a side of your choice, and cornbread. The cornbread is a must-try; it's the best I've ever had, especially when paired with their sweet butter.Although I'm not a big fan of beer, their beers are delightful. With both indoor and outdoor seating, plus being dog and kid friendly, Urban Roots is a place I highly recommend visiting.“
“Love this place. Our go to brewery when we are in the area. Got to say bartender Dave and Ben are super awesome, great to talk to. Always makes everyone feel welcome.. beers and super delicious. Head brewer doing an awesome job.. there's no beer I can't drink..if your In the area want some delicious beer and great atmosphere stop by you won't regret it..“
“Excellent vibes for a date! Went here as the start to a double date and we had a blast playing pool. I had the meadowfoot and it was phenomenal. They had a yummy non-alcoholic kombucha option too which is so appreciated so everyone felt included! Great staff, too!“
“Always glad to try a brewery from the Sacramento area as the variety of breweries to pick from are great! Bike Dog is the latest one that Steve and I got to try from here and we enjoyed what we had. The beer that we had was a sour by the name of Blue Blender. This was a blueberry sour along with lemon and a floral flavor to it. I thought this was a pretty solid sour and felt like how this beer type is supposed to be like. It did have a soury, pucker effect for taste which is what I prefer to see rather than having a sour that is so sugary that it tastes like I am drinking Kool Aid or a soda and I have had my fair share of those while out and about trying various different breweries.“
“Girlfriend and I stopped by for a quick drink while waiting for our table for dinner at another restaurant nearby. The service was great, we were recommended a flight to try a few beers. Everything we tried was enjoyable. Everyone there seemed friendly. Will be back another day to try some food and more beers.“
“I kept wondering if Mrs Craig Vanessa was really an expert trader like they say, that she is not a scammer like the others, then I contacted her and I was shocked and amazed that with just $1,500 I invested, Mrs. Craig Vanessa helped me managed my account and after 7 Days of trading, I made my first withdrawal of $16,700. I'm here to testify the good work of her after she made a good profit for me in my investment. She's reachable via WhatsApp with the number on her Facebook: Mrs Craig Vanessa“
“Many wonderful things happen at this tap and kitchen. First, the food is made in house and don't forget to check on the chef specials. Second, the service is great. The two bartenders/servers were friendly, kind, and full of knowledge (I'm not a beer drinker (my husband is), but they helped me find something that was to my liking). Lastly, the ambiance is nice welcoming and there's a decent amount of seating. This is a must try spot if you're in the area.“
“Sac Town’s hottest bar is New Helvetia. This place has everything: Twinkling lights that make you feel like you’re stuck inside a snow globe. A trivia night that challenges your brain while you sip on a drink that’s part science experiment, part tropical vacation. Get ready to post that Insta story with their wall of fame that whispers, ‘Legends drank here.’ And yes, there are people, always ready with a smile that says, ‘Welcome to the family, but first, let’s take a selfie.’If you’re lucky, you’ll catch a glimpse of the mysterious poetess with her curly mane, reciting verses that make you question reality, or just the amount of beer in your glass. The bar counter’s as long as the list of ex-lovers you definitely shouldn’t call, and it’s topped with festive decorations that make every day feel like a holiday. But the real treasure? It’s the ‘Trivia Night’ paper that doubles as a treasure map to the heart of this wonderland. So, grab a pen, a pint, and a pal, because this bar’s bizarre bazaar of delights is the night out you never knew you needed.“
“This place is a neighborhood gem! Kid- and dog-friendly, always a great vibe, and awesome special events throughout the year. Honestly, the only things that would make this place better is a full kitchen and more non-alcoholic options. We'd be there multiple times a week if that was the case but still an absolute 5 star establishment and essentially the social center of the Tahoe Park neighborhood.“
“Darkheart is the beyond fantastic with such a great vibe. Each and every beer is so delicious-so much so we always have a hard time deciding which 2 for our kegerator. Their Keg Club is fabulous!! The staff and owners are the best! We've had private party's there as well & it's always a big hit with our guests. DH is pet friendly, too. Our dog LOVES to go with us.If you haven't been- we highly recommend checking them out.“
“Track seven is AMAZING! I enjoyed myself a little too much and thank god I had a DD! It was very spacious brewery and had awesome options to choose from especially sours. Sierra the bar manager was so great and loved her energy! I highly recommend checking them out and can't wait to go back!“
“I got recommended Fountainhead and I'm glad we checked it out. I had the pale ale, delicious! We got crispy fries and they were yum yum good. Dog friendly!! With treats! So sweet!!! Maybe 5 minutes from our house, will be back. Cheers!“
“Track 7 Brewery!! Oh man, where do I even start? This place is an absolute gem!! Hubby and I love this place! The atmosphere is really cool, they have outdoor seating, indoor seating, games galore, and food trucks to satisfy any craving. “Love the beer here one of the better breweries in the Sacramento region. The place has awesome vibes great beer and yummy foods. The back patio is large inviting and has plenty of seating. Inside is rather small but nice vibes.Great place to come grab a Beer and lunch during spring / summer / fall. 1/2 of patio space is covered as well.Parking: On street in front of brewery“
“Amazing beers and food! They have a large selection of brews, including seltzers, and their apps and pizzas are really tasty. Very kid and pet friendly and staff are very friendly and service is excellent. Worth trying are their Detroit-style pizzas, which are a highlight, but I'd say even their regular pizzas are worth the trip.“
“Came in for the first time to attend a Paint and Pints event on 9/13 with Gabby T. There is extremely limited parking; businesses across the street from there let people park only after 6PM. I parked on the street in front of the self-storage place from 6-8PM. That night, they also had a food truck Poco D Todo. "Not your average taco truck -- make sure to try the famous tacodillas (tacos with a crispy cheese skirt) and Todo Tots (loaded tater tots with your choice of meat." They also had giant quesadillas as the special item that evening. I went with one carne asada tacodilla and one carnitas tacodilla, which was ready in about ten minutes. The marinade/salsa was interesting in a good way, couldn't exactly place what the flavor was that made the tastebuds tingle (other than the cheesy skirt). I tried their Porch Lite lager which was at 4.8% ABV and on the hoppy side. For the remainder of the class, I had one of their craft sodas/root beers. Gabby got their Sour (either rhubarb or cherry?). They also had Nitty Cider, a smoky Porter, coconut Imperial Stout, Pale Ale, IPA, and a dry hopped Saison. Great bar service, and you could sample anything on draft. The painting class was held indoors, with a big industrial fan to keep that area cool by the bar. Dog-friendly inside and on the patio too. The class itself was led by instructor Liz and the subject/theme was to paint a Saguaro [Cacti] Sunset scene. Paints and Pints is women-owned and always held at local craft breweries, sign up on Eventbrite. $5 less for kids or designated drivers, otherwise $30 for 21+ which includes the class and one beverage. I'm not in East Sac often, but Porchlight was a nice little spot!“
“Incredible beertender! She was so attentive, helpful, and friendly. I’m from Seattle and my phone battery was drained due to not being connected to any wifi networks, and she offered to charge it for me without me asking. Vibes were great and understandably so. The staff is fantastic!“
“Really enjoyed this place. Beer was great we had the evil twin I think it was called - a red ipa. Food very good, they had october fest special item fried cauliflower in a sweet and sour sauce that was really yummy. The pretzel and beer cheese was ok, both pretzel and beer cheese were ok but pretty bland. Staff very nice.“
“I like the space here, it's dog friendly and they have good drinks, but if you want to eat, they have to DoorDash food to you, which isn't bad but now it would be extra time. The service was pretty cool, they where really nice too“
“I’ve been here a few times and it’s always a good experience. There is a large selection of beers (including quite a few dark beers) and many of the beers on tap are local. I’ve had many items from the food menu and I’m always pleasantly surprised by how good the food is. It’s not your average bar food. The only thing that could be improved is that sometimes the food service can be a little slow, but it’s always worth the wait.“
“Kicking myself for not coming sooner. Located on the north western edge of Midtown, great venue for beer. Limited indoor seating but a nice covered patio. Staff state heaters are available during colder weather. The beer? I'm a German fan; however, there excellent Pilsner, something that's hard to pull off, highlights their brewing skill. Next beer was a Hefeweizen. Hef nose but solid banana notes with a hint of cloves. No skunky yeasty taste. My sample of the Red Ale was solid as well. So the brewer knows how to brew!Free hard pretzels for munchies, plus snacks for purchase. Check ahead if it's OK to bring outside food, but if there is a food truck, you should skip outside food.“
