“The moment I walked in, being from LI NY, I knew this was the real deal! The smell of NY pizza, slaps really good! I wish I weren't so far away. I got 7 slices and 2 doughs to share back home 2hrs away. Everyone loved their slices. Reminded them of what I bring back from NY. Mr. Joe and the cashier were super nice, very cool people. When I come to Loma linda for appointments, I will always stop by Slices and Swirls! Thank you Mr. Joe!”

“Phenomenal. If your are vegetarian I highly recommend this place. The waitress was kind and attentive from the start (shout out MF Doom). We ordered the Mapo Tofu, Orange Tofu, and vegetables housemade dumplings. Everything was delicious. The Mapo was savory and flavorful with a nice tingle. The dumpling were fresh and the dough had a perfect texture. The Orange Tofu was a stand out. The breading was perfectly crisp and the glaze was perfectly sweet and tangy. White rice comes with the entrees which was nice and not always a guarantee these day. Will be coming back very soon.”

What a great hang out spot. In my opinion this place appears to be largely hidden in plain sight! It's bigger than it looks from the outside, staff is excellent, service is awesome and fast. The food is incredible! Great tasting bacon cheese burger. Your well never goes dry. The band The Moon Colony was a great band, too. I highly recommend this place. Keep up the good work.”

“After visiting my oncologist on Wednesday, my husband and I dined at a charming cafe in Loma Linda. The cafe's charm was a pleasant surprise. The staff were courteous and friendly. My husband and I ordered lunch; he selected the carne asada burrito and requested it to be made wet, while I chose a hard shell chicken taco accompanied by enchiladas. The cafe offers a range of side options, including beans, salad, rice, and potato salad; I opted for beans and salad. The food was delicious and flavorful, and the salsa provided was particularly enjoyable. The experience was highly satisfying. I believe Loma Linda is home to a lovely hidden gem. Parking is conveniently located on the street. As I regularly visit Loma Linda, I intend to return and sample other menu options, which are available throughout the day.”

FANTASTIC food and service My husband got scallops, shrimp and salmon on angel hair pasta with a lobster cream sauce; I got pasta primavera in cream sauce with grilled chicken. Red wine, garlic rolls and a dark chocolate torte rounded out a great dinner. Highly recommend for any or no occasion. Five stars from me.”

“I hadn’t eaten here for quite some time and was blown away with how delicious the food was now that it is under new management! Patty was also super nice and helpful at the hot buffet bar.

I thoroughly enjoyed taco Tuesday— soyrizo potato tacos and the mushroom fajita taco. The vegetable spring roll served with peanut sauce from the refrigerated section was absolutely divine and super fresh!

There is also a new fresh baked pastries section that looks absolutely delightful! I’m excited to try the sourdough bread loaf— they have a few different flavors including regular, Gouda & chive, etc.

I would definitely recommend the Councilors Student Pavilion Cafe if you’re on campus!”

“First time here and it was a great experience over all. Food was delicious from the menudo to the steak and eggs. I enjoyed my menudo so much. Have been looking for a good place and this restaurant knows how to do it. Skillets were on fire. Fresh chips and salsa. Salsas have a lot of flavor. Coffee on point. The service by far was the best experience. Friendly staff and our server, Eva was sweet and so helpful with my indecisiveness. Definitely coming back! Worth the 35 minute drive from San Dimas.”

“I love the boba! I’m very picky on my boba too and theirs are perfect and they added the right amount. I will say, mine had regular amount of sugar, but still not sweet enough even after stirring and shaking well. So if you want it sweet, ask for more sugar, because I relying on the boba more for the sweetness. But great flavor of the tea. Will try again”

“Came in and bought a breakfast sandwich. Bacon, egg and cheese on an onion bagel.
The bagel is perfect. This sandwich came fast and cooked perfectly. It was about $8 which in 2026 is more than fair. I highly recommend this place. I’ll be back for sure.”

“I enjoy the flavor they provide. However I wish there was an option to put the avocado that they offer on a sandwich I order online. They were able to still provide me avocado after my sandwich was made. So it wasn’t technically custom ordered m. I had to customize it after the order was complete. Thank you for the amazing food otherwise.”
