“Nice chilled bar with cool vibe. I got the Awaiting Persephone Cocktail. The taste of the cocktail with the delicious note of Pistachio did not disappoint. However, I found there was way too much ice in the drink which quickly diluted it and also diminished the intensity of it.“

“Good food. We ordered the chicken Cesar salad, pepperoni pizza and truffle pizza. The first two were very delicious. The brie-truffle pizza was simply alright. But lets talk about that homemade giant cinnamon roll though …. I’d drive all the way there to satisfy that craving any day!The cappuccino was good too. First time in LA I found a decent capp, I usually order cappuccinos and end up with lattés !The location is perfect, overlooking the water. Would absolutely recommend.“

“The food was good! The Service Greeter with a large tattoo across her chest may need to improve her greeting skills. I found her to be unpleasant. We were very pleased with our host. The ambience provides the perfect setting for an intimate celebration. Grand atmosphere...“

“My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this experience! It was a great view of the track and service was great. Food took some time to get out but it was a great 4/5. We had the pork chop and 917 burger which were excellent. The Pinot Grigio and old fashioned was 4/5. They have a full bar and made a great whiskey sour with egg white foam. Overall a great experience and great place to bring that special someone who loves cars. You're able to Ventura and observe several Porsche's. I Would definitely come back for lunch!“

“The ambience of the restaurant is really nice and the staff were very friendly. Brian H was our waiter and he was very nice - since it was my first time at the restaurant he gave us some Pura Vita pins and stickers which was a nice surprise. I enjoyed all of the food we ordered and would come back and try more dishes.“

“Amazing, authentic, organic ingredients make a difference. I loved the Mexican food here better than if I was in Mexico.Every dish we ordered was amazing. Highly recommend the Queso fundido, quesadillas, must add a side of guacamole. I do not remember what I had to drink because I was so in love with the food. The service provided by our server Lisbeth was outstanding. If you go to this restaurant, ask for Lisbeth. The ambiance was great, it was turning to evening and the weather was unseasonably cold for this time of year in LA. Despite being seated outside, it was not an issue. The restaurant had heaters that made the atmosphere feel warm, and cozy.Whenever I visit LA., I will always dine here. Mexican food is my favorite.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options, review the menu and ask the Manager for confirmation to ensure you are satisfied.Parking: Parking is free at the restaurant“

“This was a most delightful late lunch here today in great part due to the exceptionally hospitable and knowledgeable staff. The restaurant's interior is traditionally regal and cozy however we opted to eat in their spacious outside eating area on this beautiful afternoon. No regality was lost by being outside for we were in the care of Gilberto, our wonderful principle waiter. He understood our every need and pampered us like one seldom encounters in Long Beach. We began with an Old Sicilian cocktail. It's probably fortunate the photo didn't come out else I'd be shamelessly punning the caption, but most importantly it was delicious with quite a punch. The crab cake appetizer, also delicious, was followed by the best hamburger that I've ever had and that includes any produced from my kitchen (I consider that to be the highest praise). Bf gave me a taste and there is no question that I will be ordering this next time. For a special treat, Gilberto presented us with a beautiful crème brûlée. When requiring a flawless dining experience, this is perfection, They are Masters of their craft.“

“Went for outdoor patio service when there was a big event inside. Service was slow to get seated which was at first a little concerning, but shockingly very fast for drinks and food! Staff was clearly stressed, but still very friendly. Really enjoy this spot. Great atmosphere, food (great vegan tacos!), and drinks!“

“What a pleasant experience. The back area was my favorite and the food was amazing - from the crab cakes to the wagyu filet and sea bass and to top it off, maybe the best bread pudding EVER! Staff was super attentive and the atmosphere was amazing. Definitely will be going back many times.“

“The food and service were impeccable, with perfectly prepared steaks, appetizers and sides served graciously and without delay. But the dining room was too noisy for normal conversation. In fact, after our meal, we were relieved to step outside where it was blissfully quiet. Isn't there some way the restaurant could offer a loud zone as well as a more civilized zone? The current din is the only reason we'd be reluctant to return or recommend the Arthur J to friends.“

“We were looking for a nice brunch spot, and we came across The Ordinarie. With a 2hr free parking right nearby, we were off to a great start even before arriving at the restaurant. There was no one manning the front, so, we just seated ourselves, and a server approached us soon after. My wife got the Spicy Fried Chicken and Waffles and I indulged on Short Rib Hash. The fried chicken was not so spicy, but it was fried up really well. The crunch from the coating was absolutely crack. And the waffles were made from rye batter that gave it a very unique nutty flavor. The short rib on the hash was melt in your mouth tender and the red wine sauce was deep and flavorful. The crispy onions and fried potatoes paired really nicely with the meat and sauce. Overall, the food was bomb, and I have to give extra points for refilling our drinks without asking. The service was just right; not too much, not too little. All in all, we walked away full and very satisfied. Highly recommended!“

“Very beautiful and cozy place! The audience is made up of more experienced people. On the day we visited there was a duo playing really cool folk music. The atmosphere was good, but it took a while for us to be served and pay the bill on the way out.“
“So happy that I found this bar! The atmosphere was so nice and everything was very clean. The bartender, Steven was so welcoming and friendly. “Pure perfection. The hostess and server (Elias) were fantastic by their own accord but then the food came! My husband had the crab cake Benedict and I had the seard ahi salad. We agreed both meals were the best we've had in as long as we can remember. We were just grabbing a bite before our flight ending a 2 week vacation. What a delightful surprise!! Thank you.“

“We go to The End every month on Wednesdays for King Trivia night. The service there is great! They have good drinks and delicious food! I usually get the Shrimp Pasta and it's never disappointed me. I've also tried the pork belly and caprese salad. Heads up, the caprese comes with crushed croutons and grated carrot which wasn't my bag, but others enjoyed it. The servers there are soooo sweet and friendly!! It's always a great time!“

We also love their chicken satay, yellow curry, wonton soup (with noodles!), a tofu dish whose name I don’t remember, and pad see ew. “My husband took me here to celebrate my birthday and he chose it because we were going to the Opera after to see La Traviata, so he wanted to make a theme night. The restaurant is small and quaint. They had live music. The decor is very simple, a bit rustic? But had some very pretty chandeliers. You must have reservations and must arrive on time. Our server was very polite and was quick at answering questions and making suggestions. I ordered the Chicken Milanese, and my husband had the Lasagna. Both were very delicious. We did not have any wine although it looked like they had a good selection and we opted for no dessert (good selection as well), as our meals were pretty good size. We both liked it and would go back. This restaurant has been open for 25 yrs.Parking: There is a public parking structure but it was a block away. Street parking is metered“

“Tonight we made reservations at Tranys for our daughter’s 20th birthday. We were impressed by the exceptional atmosphere, service and esquisite food offerings. We began with oysters-chefs selection le ______. The 1/2 dozen oysters offered such a delectable oceanic tasting that even our 10 year old was compelled toTry her first oyster. Thereafter we shared the 2pnd ribeye, flat iron steak, mushroom gnocchi and squash blossoms. It was all exceptionally prepared. We had to try a couple of desserts. We selected a gelato Oreo, espresso shots & a caramel pana cotta. Incredible exceptional, the best food ive had in the South Bay. Bravo.“

“This place was awesome. We were visiting the area and decided to stop in for lunch. We had tried to stop in on Saturday but it was packed. So, we on Monday afternoon to take a break from checking out used bookstores. There was only one other table occupied. Our waiter was being trained by another server and they were both great. The atmosphere was cozy, and the food was fantastic. My son said he wished we had one where we're from. I agreed. Definitely glad we stopped in.Dietary restrictions: They are gluten friendly. Be careful if you're gluten sensitive and can handle small amounts of cross contamination. I'm gluten sensitive due to auto-immune disease but I am generally okay with things in a shared fryer. I ordered the fries. Thankfully, our server informed us they toss their fries in flour before frying. That I cannot do. Burgers and sandwiches can be served on gluten free buns.“
“I've been here a bunch, just realized I've still never written them a review, so fixing that finally. They are definitely a "neighborhood bar" first, cocktail bar second - it's a great chill vibe, the sort of place that's never too busy (at least when I've been there) and where the music is never too loud to be able to talk. Their bartenders are all great, and they have quality spirits and reasonably priced drinks. And they do *have* a cocktail list - but compared to, for instance, Wicked Wolf nearby, for similar prices, cocktails that aren't quite as complex or as exciting, necessarily, but they have all been great cocktails. I also particularly like that they have, at least at the moment, Buffalo Trace on hand, so I can put that in any whiskey cocktail for about the same price. On their current menu, I particularly liked the "Cameoi" (bourbon, basil, lemon, blueberry, hibiscus cider) and the "Conquistador" (corn vodka, frangelico, romepope custard liqueur - as-is, it's basically a drinkable dessert, which is great if you're looking for dessert, but it's also an easy drink to swap different spirits in - I've also tried off-menu versions with mezcal and with Buffalo Trace that were also great.) I have only actually gotten food here once, and it was a couple years ago - their flatbread was nothing I'd go out of my way for specifically, but it's definitely also something I'd be happy to order if I were hungry and I was here. That said, the *real* draw that keeps getting me to stop in here, is the live jazz they have every Saturday at 8 PM. The jazz trio that plays here is fantastic, so whenever I'm out that direction on Saturday in the evening (most likely because something's going on at Wicked Wolf), I also try to arrange to pop in here during the live jazz. Cocktails go great with live jazz, and they're a super talented jazz trio. (But it wouldn't be such a draw if they didn't *also* make great cocktails.)“
“Nice little pub that I could walk to from the Holiday Inn Express and was able to watch football there. They don't serve food but I stepped next door to Domino's and grabbed a pizza and brought it back over to eat. All good and I will return.“

“I can't believe I haven't written a review here yet! (Thought I did!) Anyway, first came here last year for my sister's friend/band member's birthday party! (Jordan) And some of his art work was displayed for sale. It was pretty fun! The DJ booth looks cool! The giant screen allowed them to play their new music video for their band called Wamdingis! (Check them out!) That night was lit! Thank you to the bar tenders & chef! The fried cheese curds were unforgettable! Came back here another time with a girlfriend because she was sad about her guy. Anyway, we ordered the tater tots (yummy!) & some seltzer drinks. I sang a song for Karaoke night on Sunday. We also ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and added bacon! Omg! So glad we split it! That was too good! Then we bar hopped a little before going home. Tonight, I was supposed to help my sister's band with merch at the Santa Ana art walk but they finished before I got there so I turned around and went home and Lyfted here. Ordered the garlic lemon pepper wings & cheese curds! Mmmm! So good! Highly recommended! The kitchen is open until 1 or 2am! Woohoo! So this is def a 2-in-1 spot! Parking sucks on the streets so just Lyft here! Maybe I'll see you guys around!“

“Dined here this evening. We enjoyed some Cocktails to start then ordered Beef Tartare, Shrimp with Veg and Roasted Carrots. Entrees varied from Pasta to Ribeye steak and Burger. All delicious. The Carbonara needed more bacon but that was the only issue. Desserts were great. The Espresso wasn’t hot enough for my guest but overall we enjoyed the evening celebrating a birthday. Will recommend to my friends for sure. Would recommend a reservation as it was very busy by the time we left at 6.30 pm“

“It is a good bar, they have live music on the weekends, a pool table, there are three bars, a bar where you can watch sports, play billiards, and there are other games and popcorn, and in the other room, there are bands and another bar, and you can dance outside. They have some tables for those who want to go out say I like it because I can't stand the smell of ?Parking: There is always space“
“Stopped off here for a nightcap after seeing it a week ago. Honestly, a pretty cool speakeasy bar. The crowd was pretty cool, a younger hipster crowd. It was busy which made it more lively. Drinks were flowing. Bartender was amazing and quite friendly. Did check up on us quite often to see if we needed anything. It's downstairs so that dark bar underground vibe was happening. They did have a few games, skee ball and a Photo Booth. Happy hour was offered certain time.“
“This is one of oldest bars in the South Bay and it is a true dive, with lots of character. The walls are covered in old photos and memorabilia, and the vibe is fantastic. Our bartender had heavy pourer, so you're sure to get your money's worth. She recommended some nice drinks and shots. If you're looking for a laid-back place to have a drink and relax, this is a place to check out.“
“I had good time Friday night with with family I kept a smile on my face all night and mingled with friendly people. “Found this little cute place after reading the review. My family and I just finished our lunch at a nearby ramen place but decided to grab something small to try. (Meaning we weren't fully satisfied with the ramen portions! ?) The owner only knows minimum English but she was super friendly. We ordered 2 of the combo of 3 carne asada tacos with a soda for only $4.99! Where can you find this great deal nowadays?! The food was delicious and even though we just had lunch, we couldn't wait to try it. The meat was nicely cooked and juicy and I loved the pickled vegetables!! The service was fast, but we went there around 2pm on Sat and not sure about how it goes during lunch time. Will definitely visit again with an empty stomach and try different food there.“

“I am prefacing this review by stating the I just stopped by here for a quick drink (no food) as I was checking out the The Point, the shopping a mall that contains Lil' Simmzy's.I at first did not realize they actually serve some of their own beers, but once I saw that I went with their Hazy IPA option. Along with that I also got a cocktail, the Paloma. The beer was pretty good, standard along with most the other Hazy IPA's that I've had. I'll say that this one was a little less hoppy than others I've had. The Paloma was one of the better ones I have tasted. It's made with mezcal instead of the usual tequila, so you can taste that "smokey" difference which I find people either enjoy or don't. I like the ancho salt rim on the drink, both for taste & look.Service was pretty good and the place has a relaxed beachy vibe and nice overall feel. I think it's all outside seating which is fitting for the overall vibe and works well for being in the The Point. Ordered at the counter and self seated. I'd come here again to sip on a drink while I take a break from shopping. The only one, somewhat larger, somewhat understandable downfall was the amount of dust at the table. When I grabbed a napkin, I noticed how dirty my hands got just from touching it due to the amount of dust/dirt in general at the table since it's outside seating.Cheers!“
“Went on a Saturday night for the first time. There was a DJ that had the music and dance floor on point. One pool table but everyone seemed good in coordinating next games. Friendly atmosphere. TV’s around that showed videos of the music being played. Drinks are on point-try the Blueberry Muffin.Parking: There’s a parking lot adjacent to the bar.“

Those drinks were AMAZING! after the comedy show we came back and tried the chicharrón tacos and the cheesecake for dessert. First time there and it was great, the service was great as well. I work in the hospitality industry and was amazed at the attentiveness of the host, the bartenders and the server. Definitely coming back!“

“Started coming here a while ago and it grew on me. Met the owner and he was nothing short of gracious. Humble guy that will sit with you. If you see him get him a red headed slut. “Last night my family: son, daughter-in-law, two teenage grandchildren, my wife and myself, had an outstanding dinner. Son and daughter-in-law are vegan, and the teen grandchildren are, let us say, picky eaters while my wife and I are more or less foodies. Every dish and drink order was raved about, ranging from the shared 7 cheese Mac & mushroom starter and the avacado hummus with just cooked pita bread, the blueberry lemonade the kids enjoyed, the farmers bowl my son had and the pasta dish my daughter-in-law enjoyed to my wife's simple fish and chips and my salmon. The desserts were also a hit from a burnt brown sugar cinnimon confection to a chocolate budino to a wonderful version of an apple turnover. Everything was a hit, which with this diverse group of eaters is amazing.“
“Evelyn was absolutely amazing!! The menu was just ok, it didn't offer a lot of variety but the food itself was pretty good. The service was next level!!
