“Not only are the sanwiches amazing, but the staff is super friendly and down to earth. Sam and Steven took very good care of me and a friend when we had lunch. Steven went above and beyond. Love this place. It's definitely a new favorite.“
“coffee is super tasty! I got the sweet honey latte which is a seasonal drink! The coffee and flavor went pretty well with each other. Normally I like my coffees on the sweeter side but this was a great cup of coffee. Plenty of parking. PLENTY of out door seating. It's such a cute coffeeshop. It's a coffeeshop inside of an airstream. It's so dope. Very aesthetically pleasing for the girlies who are looking for a new place to try!“
“Reserved a table to celebrate my wife's birthday. I asked for a special table and they kindly accommodated my request. They seated us at the most special table there in a beautiful corner which resulted in memorable photos for us. I'd like to thank the staff again for their warm hospitality and great service. We'll go back again for special occasions.“
“Loved the food specially the vodka sauce pasta. It had an amazing flavor. We ordered the following items: vegetarian pizza, mushroom ravioli, vodka sauce gnocchi and tiramisu and pistachio dessert. They also had the spicy pepper. Everything was top notch.“
“I was so lucky to get a spontaneous spot here to eat dinner last night. We sat outside in this lovely, warm and cozy space. The food was outstanding! An excellent beet salad to start with, followed by this amazing artichoke appetizer. Best prepared artichoke I've ever had in my life! For my entree I had Bowl of Soul, which was like a fish stew with plenty of prawns and tender pieces of fish that I suspect might have been sea bass or cod? In any case, it was delicious! My dining partner had the Dungeness crab pasta. I had a little taste and I was blown away. If you're looking for some fine dining and an elevated experience, don't hesitate to come to Asa. I'm looking forward to going back!“
“Lele Café serves as a premier destination for all café-related needs, boasting an extensive range of products and an inviting atmosphere. The establishment cultivates a pleasant ambiance complemented by premium-quality offerings. Well-known for its exceptional taste, the coffee consistently garners praise. Team members show professionalism and hospitality, ensuring a welcoming experience for all customers.“
“Excellent hot dog! I had the “hell hound”. Such a good blend of salty, slightly sweet and gooey. Fries were perfectly cooked shoe strings. Plenty of outside seating and a little inside seating as well. Very clean place and staff. Highly recommend. I sat at the counter and watched all the orders as they were made. Next time I will be trying the dog “grilled”.“
“Been here a million times and took a million photos, yet this is the first time I’ve done a review. It’s pretty short and simple…..this place servers good vibes, tasty dranks and yummy snacks. Not sure if things have changed since the establishment opened, but they don’t serve hot foods as they don’t have a full kitchen. All their snacks are really good though (deviled eggs, spiced nuts). The drinks are REALLY good, like the best cocktail spot in town.We came on a Wednesday at 8pm and it was pretty groovin. I would def make a reservation for a Friday or Saturday. I’ve tried walking in with just two peeps and they are almost always full. They do have a big patio but even then, it’s so packed.Brian is the only face I recognize. Didn’t see Jacob. Both are friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks. I always go with their recommendation, and it never fails.Parking is easy. They have a standalone lot they share with a restaurant and other smaller nearby businesses, but there’s also a lot of street parking. Better yet, just Uber bc you will have at least three cocktails before you leave.“
“Decided to stop by Wrights Station for a local getaway! Definitely a good spot to visit on the way to or from Santa Cruz. The two of us ordered 2 mixed tasters, and an empanada. Pricing was reasonable and staff was friendly. There is seating inside and outside. We were there during a Saturday afternoon, so it was relatively quiet, with only a few groups. Bocce ball available as well.Parking is available onsite as well.Shoutout Katie for being extremely friendly and courteous :)“
“Solid spot for brunch in Los Gatos! They have both indoor and outdoor patio dining. The outdoor dining area has heat lamps, and they'll open up the awning when it gets too sunny out! I got the Crab Souffle Omelette, and I really enjoyed it! The omelette itself was huge! I was impressed with just how fluffy it was--way better than an ordinary omelette! The Crab Souffle omelette is filled with crab, avocado, tomato, mushrooms, and topped with hollandaise sauce. All of the souffle omelettes come with a bakery item and herb potatoes and grits. I love that you can get a specialty bakery item like their carrot walnut bread or raspberry coffee cake in addition to their selection of breads/English muffin/bagel. You can even add their cinnamon roll, but it will cost you an extra $5. I recommend getting their carrot walnut bread! It's tasty--a little savory and a little sweet--with a great combination of textures. I tried some of the raspberry coffee cake but did not like it as much. I would also recommend getting the herb potatoes instead of the grits. The herb potatoes were quite yummy! We were expecting the grits to be like cheesy grits or shrimp and grits (something with flavor) but these ended up just being plain grits. So unless that's what you're looking for, go with the potatoes! Service is pretty fast and efficient. Parking is street parking or park in one of the nearby public lots. There are a bunch of these in Downtown Los Gatos, so I've never had to walk too far!“
“Location: Located at the far end of downtown Los Gatos, this coffee shop is very easy to miss if you drive or even walk by. Free parking is available on the street and around the block. The storefront is nestled and hidden well by adjacent buildings so as you get closer, do look out for the signs. They have a great selection of coffee and snacks. I ordered the rose infused latte and was pleasantly surprised by the nice aroma of rose and the subtle yet appealing rose flavor. The drink was made well and absolutely recommend you try this if it's listed on the menu. They do have adequate space inside the store but also outside. The day was warm and pleasantly inviting to sit outside and tried it. You do have to put up with the noise from heavy vehicles passing through.“
“Quality juices! My favorites are the classic green juice & classic orange juices. Great service, vibes, and quality products in the heart of Downtown Los Gatos. Street parking is available, but can be limited. You can park at several parking lots by the place and walk over as well. Can't wait to try their açaí bowls!“
“If you're looking to travel into the streets of Paris for a brunch / lunch / dinner for a date night or just to make you happy, you can now find that in the beautiful Santa Cruz Ave of Los Gatos. Chez Philippe picks you up from a great neighborhood and instantly sends you into a classy, French storybook that is packed with homeliness, and none of the haughty chin up.We visited CP (Chez Philippe) on a slightly drizzly brunch hour on a Sunday. We were in Los Gatos for their Sunday Street Market but the drizzle made us choose an early lunch. 4.6 stars on Google is no easy feat so we were excited to know there were seats availalable.Unlike typical French restaurants where everything is snooty, if not unnecessarily greasy, we were welcomed as if we were visiting a distant relative in their beautiful cottage, somehow in the outskirts of Paris. The huge windows let in the wet sunlight with window-side tables occupied by a loving elderly couple... a perfect scene that sets the mood. Chef Philippe (I would think he is) seems he's moved over from France and truly gave us a loving welcome and intro to the restaurant. The interior is literally a picture book with various corners all carrying their unique stories but all strung together with the air they share.By the time we were ordering, our mood was already soft and I was sipping on delicious coffee. We went with the Onion Soup and the Escargot, as well as sweet crepes, etc. The onion soup inches near perfection in terms of the depth of taste and the wholesomeness it provides. The star of the show was the escargot though. I do not know what black magic they used to create the garlic butter sauce the escargots sat in but it was pure heaven. Just dipping fresh baguette into the escarbot pits and chewing on it simply made my day. At that point, my review was already decided. It was one of the happiest and tastiest experiences I've had in the Bay Area in a while. And mind you, I wasn't even that hungry. The mussels were fabulous with distinct white wine sauce. The French Fries were clearly made with love. And the strawberry crepes, again, were quite good, although you really can't go too wrong here.Chez Philippe truly is a gem in Los Gatos. I believe it is relatively new but I don't come here too often. Either way, what a wonderful restaurant. And we'll absolutely be back.Parking: Find public parking in Los Gatos downtown. There are few lots parallel to Santa Cruz Ave, as well as if you get lucky, you can street park on Santa Cruz itself.“
“A charming breakfast spot with a hint of southwestern charm, this small hole-in-the-wall kitchen offers a variety of egg dishes, some with their own unique twist. Popular options include the New York style Benedict and Jalisco scramble. The service can be a bit slow due to the bustling atmosphere (no room to wait inside, really). Despite the crowded and noisy setting, the staff are doing their best to ensure a pleasant dining experience. As for drinks, I prefer to stick with a comforting cup of hot coffee in the morning. The only thing is for some, the price can be a little higher.“
“We stopped here randomly to kill a couple hours. Sat and ate loaded tots, drank refreshing beer, and listened to Lavender Fields Band play. We could have sat here all night if it weren’t for our flight. Great place, I’ll come back next time I’m in the area.Parking: Parking is easyKid-friendliness: Saw plenty of kids running around while we’re here they seemed right at homeWheelchair accessibility: Fully wheelchair accessible“
“This place was good and I mean like really good food. I'm giving it a four because I think it would be more appropriate to call it a "lounge", not a tavern. Everything is highfalutin, which accompanies the prices. A tavern should be cheap, mainly serve beer, and probably have a pub food list. Again, this fits the stereotypical image that wants to be painted in this part of CA.“
“I absolutely love photographing weddings at Byington Vineyard & Winery. This location is such an amazing gem of the central California coast and Santa Cruz Mountains. This vineyard and winery goes to great lengths to create an amazing and high quality wine. The estate is so serene and scenic and provides countless gorgeous backdrops for weddings. There is a perfect spot to get married called Wedding Hill and the staff is so great and helpful. I highly suggest getting married here.“
“Convenient spot & a fantastic selection of beers. Plus... They always have a good stout on tap, year-round, which for some reason is hard to find in the south bay area.We stopped going to Loma & Happas because stouts are unpredictable and/or non-existent except for a couple winter months.“
“Good ole Classic Burger of Los Gatos, still such a great place to come for lunch or around dinner time too. This is our local hamburger joint thats not a corporate entity at all. Extremely consistent food and service here for sure. Overall a good value i feel with the prices of fast food like TB or BK now being 12 bucks on average. Lunch specials vary in prices per day which is cool with me. I usually get burgers or the patty melt which is hella good too. Indoor and outdoor seating as well, the restroom is out back FYI too. You can order inside or outside if ya want your food to-go as well. Grab napkins and ketchup or mustard to the left of the register once you get your meal.“
“I love S & S because the flavors are unique and they are always happy to give out samples. This is a great location in old town Los Gatos and they have my favorite ice cream scented perfume! I highly recommend trying the strawberry balsamic ice cream. Delicious!!“
“Beautiful setting with amazing views in all directions. Has a small tasting room (for bad weather) and a pleasant outdoor seating area, sometimes with gentle music, in a grassy amphitheater. The wines are all excellent, some from grapes grown here, some from central coast. Very knowledgeable winemaker and staff. Also boasts ecological approach. The grand deck now is covered for tastings rain or shine. "My favorite local winery."“
“Awesome wine tasting room in DTLG! I met a friend here and as soon as I got to the table, the tasting room associate delivered me a pour of their rosé, which was absolutely fabulous. After sipping on that, we chose from their 5 different tasting flights, all of which consisted of 3 wines at various prices. I went with the saison experience, which consisted of 1 white and 2 reads, and my friend the burgundy flight, which was all pinots. As we worked thorough our tastings we were delighted to be given another extra pour that was similar to our flights. Each time we were given a wine/new wine to try we were provided with some information about the grapes and the style the wine was made - tasting notes with flavor profiles for each wine were listed on the back of the menu with all the wines they had.Overall we had a great experience and both ended up going home with at least a bottle. I went home with the rosé and merlot, and I was tempted to go home with even more than one bottle of that rosé. Definitely plan to come back here and taste again sometime!“
“Stumbled upon and had lunch at this little gem in Los Gatos. The crew and chef listened to my food mood and suggested and prepared a delicious and beautiful artichoke, caper flatbread, paired with the pickle plate! OMG super yummy!!Their complimentary olive oil and vinegar tasting room and wine bar, where they made me a sparkly virgin cocktail, is all about friendly, cozy, good vibes.Very chill and comfortable and I hear they also host private parties! I will definitely be back to sit out back! Oh yeah, and they’re also remote-work friendly, offering WiFi!Taking home a couple bottles, some guava jam and a full and happy belly!! Winning!!!“
“Luv their menu!!! It's nice to sit outside or meet a client on the lovely patio. The fajitas are the best, the homemade chips & salsa (ask for the spicy habenero) are an extra $2, just wow! Try Taco Teusdays and Thirsty Thursdays for some deals ?“
“My friend hosted her bridal shower here, and the service was impeccable. They decorated the room and provided a delicious motley of drinks and food. The waitresses would also be helpful and consistently check in throughout the event. I got the iced latte, lychee mimosa, stuffed mushrooms, margarita pizza, italian wedding soup, the tagliatelle with truffle cream sauce, and a nonalcoholic frosé. Everything (esp the stuffed mushrooms and tagliatelle) was fantastic.“
“My little family loves it here! I love that it's somewhat family friendly. I would only recommend if kids are well- behaved, it's right by a parking lot so there's not really space to run around. That said, we love coming here after a family hike. We grab a flight of tasters to share and some snacks. Our kids love the pretzel and we do too. We're not actually huge beer drinkers but like it every now and then so the tasters are perfect. We love the outdoor seating and the loaner games too. Service is prompt and friendly.“
“The food was wonderful! Taylor (I believe that was his name) was the best server and knew so much about the wine list. He said he created the wine list and his recommendations were right on point. If you are in Los Gatos-, don’t pass this one up!“
“I arrived just as this little corner taqueria was closing. They were kind enough to let us order a couple of items. Best quesadilla and taco! I will try this place again when they're not closing. The food was very good and the service was great.“
“Let me start off by saying I never write reviews but feel compelled to do one after our visit.Testarossa for the win! My wife and I (mostly her) have traveled from the East Coast to the West Coast and abroad to visit vineyards or attend tastings. Saying this to say, we know a little about quality wine. We stumbled upon this vineyard while we were in California for a wedding. On an free day prior to the wedding, I was in charge of finding and booking tastings for us (mostly her). I had three tastings lined up for the day and Testarossa was stop #1. I read all the reviews to make a reservation so we did (and highly recommend). We decided on the tour (also highly recommended). It was raining that day, but the sun peeked out for about 7.4 seconds so we optimistically kept the reservation hoping for better weather. The rain continued - c'est la vie. But thankfully, we met our guide, Missy Elliot (not the rapper). She was/is the most knowledgeable, personable, amiable tour guide we ever met. She braved the elements for us, snuck in a few well timed anecdotes, and knew the history of the vineyard as if she lived there. She made Testarossa feel like family. The place was amazing and the wine was fantastic! The nicknames for the silos were hilarious. We sipped, lost track of time, and bought 4-6 bottles of their fine wine. Cannot remember specific amount due to the copious amounts of alcohol in our system. I accidentally broke a wine class and Missy was quick to come with a spray bottle that removed all traces out of my tan shirt. Testarossa is a gem and kudos to them for hiring Missy. She was the bright spot on a rainy day. Needless to say we didn't make it to our next destinations. After the tour, we headed to their patio for a snack. In my humble opinion, Testarossa is better than some of those pretentious vineyards to the north. Do yourself a favor, add them to your travel plans, you won't be disappointed.“
“Peaceful and calm during COVID-19. Reservations only. Friend took me out to wine bar and ordered two charcuterie plates: smoked salmon and cheese plates. It is a cute date/ friend gathering place if you like to talk a lot without the hustle and bustle of the city.“
“Checked this place out from a friend's recommendation and it didn't disappoint! We wine hopped with a group of us and fell in love with this place. While, it is far in the mountains and takes time to get to the top, the view was spectacular. We decided on the 4 wine flight for 15 each. The 2017 cab sav was th best out of the four and we got a bottle of it at the end. This place is great for getting together with friends and wine tasting. They have giant sized chess and other games and a beautiful view of santa cruz beaches. This place is very instagramable. You'll see when you come! The staff are so helpful here and give you knowledgeable on their wines. You can bring your own food here which I would recommend since there's no food at the winery or in the area.“
“Wow what an absolutely incredible brunch. The Bloody Mary and Irish Coffee were both awesome. The Irish Benedict had real corned beef that was absolutely delicious and tender. Pancakes were awesome and the shrimp and grits were addicting. Friendly staff made this one of the most enjoyable meals in a long time. Will absolutely be back soon.“
“I chose this place based on the reviews and drove the distance to try it. There is a wonderful variety of bagels that are not found in the basic bagel in the box restaurant. There is a lot of parking on the nearby streets at this time of the day. I immediately noticed the quaint store front made of brick and the tables in the windows for customers to watch what is happening in town. The place is clean and friendly. I took some photos of the bagel varieties and noticed they also have a nice variety of drinks. I also noticed that the Gourmet Cheddar and the Gourmet Parmesan bagels were already sold out. Probably favorites for regular customers. There is a wonderful variety of bagels. They are a nice size and not too thick which makes for a more pleasant eating experience. I settled on an Asiago and Spinach bagel with cream cheese and lox. They added sprouts, capers, red onion and tomato. I paid a little extra to have it made open faced vs. sandwich. The bagel is chewy and crunchy at the same time which made a nice sandwich. Everything was fresh and and delicious. The service was excellent. It was worth the drive to try this place out. Chomp chomp. Mine is gone. Thanks Posh for a great experience!“
“This vineyard is directly next-door to Regale, another vineyard. It is such a cute schoolhouse on a beautiful property. The wisteria was in bloom when we visited, and it felt like something out of the hobbit home in Lord of the Rings lol. I really liked the cab franc & my husband enjoyed the pinot. Overall, the wine is above average, but not stellar. You can buy a bottle in lieu of a tasting fee. They allow you to bring your own snacks and children are allowed. It was quaint and intimate, I'm sure we'll be back since it's right next to Regale where we go often.“
“really good burger, found it to be slightly on the greasy side, but the flavor was amazingly beefy and was a really good burger overall. great fries, and house made pickles are quite tasty and unlimited. good ketchup too. also has a nice selection of beers on tap and breakfast served all day.“
“Staff was very nice, and the order came out in LESS THAN 10 SECONDS after taking my order. Atmosphere was great, counters and tables were clean. The only issue was my drink came out a bit overfilled. What I mean is if you opened it, the drink would spill. So I couldn’t really stir it well. Other than that the service was great :)“
“Stopped in for a glass of wine and a quick bite yesterday. The service was fantastic and everyone was really friendly and very informative about the wines they serve. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms and trio of bruschetta. Everything was really good! They have bands that play couple nights a week so it can be a bit loud inside but it's a festive environment. They are more on the pricey side with glasses of wine costing anywhere from 22.00 to 50.00! It might be better to just a bottle at that price!“
“Forbes Mill is a great restaurant for a special occasion. We came here for my husband's birthday, and Forbes Mill did not disappoint. When I made my reservations I noted that it was a birthday celebration. When calling me to confirm, they asked for the name (and spelling) of the one celebrating the birthday. When we arrived they had printed their 5-course prix fixe with my husband's name on it which was a nice touch. Food: We started with the Caesar salad. The server asked if we wanted the anchovies with it, and as an anchovy-lover, I said "Bring it on!" The white anchovies were glorious. We then moved on to cocktails. I had a Manhattan, which was oddly sweet for a Manhattan - not my fave version. Husband had a Toki Highball which was surprisingly light and refreshing. For our meal I went with the Surf and Turf - 6 oz filet with a lobster tail, which included a comfy and cheesy Potatoes au Gratin. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the lobster tail was delicious. My husband had the Blackened Rib Eye, which came with blue cheese butter, caramelized onions, and cabernet demi-glace served with velvety mashed potatoes. It was a flavor bomb - who can say no to blue cheese and caramelized onions on a perfectly cooked steak? Creamed Spinach with Pancetta also made an appearance at the table (it's my go-to at any steakhouse). Dessert included a special little bundt-shaped cookie (gratis from the restaurant) for the birthday guy. We also ordered an affogato and creme brulee. Sweet and delicious, and the perfect way to top off the evening. Service and pricing: The staff here is top-notch. The service is well-choreographed and spot-on. Pricing? Bring your fattest wallet, because prices here are significant, although for a special occasion, it's a real treat. Overall: Forbes Mill is not the best place for a vegetarian but if you're a carnivore you'll be blissed out beyond compare. From the food, wine, and service, you won't be disappointed.“
“Super clean, the two ladies behind the store front are very helpful with the biggest smile and welcoming attitude. Lots of fresh and colorful ingredients for your ice cream toppings. I was charging my car around the corner from Rosy Yogurt, I walked around and was surprised on how clean and welcoming the place looked, I’m definitely will visit the place next time around.“
“Overall a great place. Down town Los Gatos as a whole is lively and the restaurant is clean and nice. The service is good. The burgers are super great and the shakes are delicious. I was also surprised by the versatility of desert menu: carrot cakes, cookie platters, lava cakes, and more. It's a bit price for a burger place but overall I would recommend.“
“Almost missed this place but the food really hit the spot. I keep seeing the Godfather sandwhich and I'll have to give ita shot, next time around. This time around, it was the double meat pastrami on a Dutch crunch roll. Can't complain!“
“This has been one of my go-to brunch/lunch restaurants in all of Los Gatos!! I always get the Chicken Cabbage Salad and it is fantastic every time! The portion is quite large so I normally split it with a friend. The picture of the salad I included shows the split portion of the salad. The tomato soup is so smooth and tasty and is perfect for a cold, rainy day. I recommend getting a side of bread because their rolls are to die for, I love them so much!! They have both inside and outside tables so when the weather is nice the outside tables are always packed. At this restaurant you order up at the counter, they give you a buzzer and will buzz you when your food is ready for pick up at the counter.“
“Beyond the pizza, Willow Street offers a diverse menu with options to satisfy every palate. From crisp salads to savory pastas, each dish showcases the restaurant's commitment to excellence and attention to detail.Service is consistently exceptional, with attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Whether you're dining in or taking out, you can always count on prompt and courteous service.Willow Street Wood-Fired Pizza in Los Gatos is a culinary gem that shines brightly in the local dining scene. With its mouthwatering pizzas, diverse menu, and top-notch service, it's no wonder this establishment has earned a loyal following of food enthusiasts. Whether you're a local resident or just passing through, a visit to Willow Street is an absolute must for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience.“
“My recent visit to the café was a mix of positives and negatives. The café itself was visually appealing, with high ceilings and a bright interior, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I appreciated the variety of pastries and baked goods available, offering something for every palate. However, there were some drawbacks to note. The café had limited seating, which made it difficult to find a spot during peak hours. Additionally, the patio lacked heating, which could be uncomfortable during colder weather. One significant issue was the state of the bathroom, which seemed to be neglected and in need of attention. This was disappointing and detracted from the overall experience.Lastly, while the quality of the food and beverages was good, I found the prices to be on the higher side. This made the overall value proposition less favorable. In summary, while the café has its charms, such as its pleasant ambiance and tasty offerings, there are areas that could use improvement, such as seating availability, patio comfort, cleanliness, and pricing. If you're looking for a nice spot to grab a bite and don't mind paying a bit more, it might be worth a visit. However, if these factors are important to you, you may want to explore other options in the area.“
“Honestly one of the best pizzas I've had in a very long time, very good texture very good ingredients and flavor, the drinks are also really cool, they have a tim burton themed drink menu, the bartender was super sweet and informative she had really pretty eyebrows.“
“Come here first time as we want to go to North restaurant and found out it was closed permanently. We order pho beef noodles, papaya salad, and barbecue pork cold noodles. The food is authentic. I missed bun cha ha noi in North restaurant. The server brought out the pho and take tooo long for the vege and sauce to come. Pho they gave very little vege (a bit spring sprout and only 5 green leaves! Unlike the pho We ordered from Vietnam town where we can get good amount of fresh leaves), the broth is awesome. Too bad they give way too little vege.the service is too slow even there are only a few customers.Barbecue pork is decent but not as good as they did in bun cha Ha Noi where we had in North restaurant.“
“Exquisitely exceptional. Denise and her team have carefully curated a wonderfully enchanting Parisian experience from the ambiance to the decor--snacks & caviar..a truly uplifting experience that Los Gatos desperately needed. Well done, can't wait to be back.“
