“We have reviewed Dio Deka a number of times and find it to consistently be the best restaurant in Los Gatos. Even on Mothers Day when some restaurants can get a bit overwhelmed whereby service and food quality can decline a few notches, the team at Dio steps it up and is at their best. Kudos and thanks for making our Mom's night special.“

“It makes me sad to hear Manresa will be no more, the depth of flavor in Kinch's seafood broths will haunt me forever. I can still taste them in my mind. Every single dish was the best thing I ever put in my mouth. My husband's favorite dish was the salad course, mine was the grilled mackerel, my son's was the crudo.“

“Hector and Angie are the best. Their tapas are unique and delicious. Love the indurain skewers , shishito peppers and authentic jamon and Queso. Little known secret is their wagyu ribeye is the very best steak in the Bay Area. Perfectly flavoured and prepared. And the selection of Albariño , Rioja and Jerez sherry. Our favourite go to place in the south bay. Much better food than other top tier restaurants in Los Gatos and saratoga. With much better value. Our favorite.“

“What a find! Great service and food! The hostess, waiter and bus staff were all friendly and helpful without any hovering. Easy to talk to and they conversed well with us. That’s not so common nowadays. We had the gamberetti al’algio (shrimp) appetizer and it was amazing. Lots of garlic slices but it wasn’t hot garlic. Rich wine and butter sauce and well made shrimp. We were dipping our bread in the sauce so we could enjoy more of it. Then we had Godfather and Mafiosa with their handmade pasta upgrade. So very good. Pasta was cooked just right. The sauces are delicious. The hidden burrata in Godfather is a wonderful treat. The Chianti Classico was a great accompaniment with the pasta. We were well satisfied so skipped dessert. We may return tomorrow night for meat-based entrees.Parking: If you park on the street don’t park in the permit only areas.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps so should be fine for wheelchairs.“

“Solid spot for brunch in Los Gatos! They have both indoor and outdoor patio dining. The outdoor dining area has heat lamps, and they'll open up the awning when it gets too sunny out! I got the Crab Souffle Omelette, and I really enjoyed it! The omelette itself was huge! I was impressed with just how fluffy it was--way better than an ordinary omelette! The Crab Souffle omelette is filled with crab, avocado, tomato, mushrooms, and topped with hollandaise sauce. All of the souffle omelettes come with a bakery item and herb potatoes and grits. I love that you can get a specialty bakery item like their carrot walnut bread or raspberry coffee cake in addition to their selection of breads/English muffin/bagel. You can even add their cinnamon roll, but it will cost you an extra $5. I recommend getting their carrot walnut bread! It's tasty--a little savory and a little sweet--with a great combination of textures. I tried some of the raspberry coffee cake but did not like it as much. I would also recommend getting the herb potatoes instead of the grits. The herb potatoes were quite yummy! We were expecting the grits to be like cheesy grits or shrimp and grits (something with flavor) but these ended up just being plain grits. So unless that's what you're looking for, go with the potatoes! Service is pretty fast and efficient. Parking is street parking or park in one of the nearby public lots. There are a bunch of these in Downtown Los Gatos, so I've never had to walk too far!“

“This is the real Italian restaurant in all of San Francisco Bay, very good service by professional and Italian waiters, an excellent menu of real excellent Italian cuisine, a real treat and Italian music. The owner himself came to our table several times, which was very warm and friendly, maintaining a pleasant conversation. It really is a quality restaurant that I highly recommend, as a couple, with family or for an event, I will come back very often. The only point to raise is that it is very noisy, the room has canteen acoustics and lacks warmth on the other side because it is very difficult to hear each other. It's a shame that the enclosed terrace was closed, I think it's more welcoming for a couple's dinner. Well done Aldo, it's excellent.“

“Really did enjoy most of our dishes. The lamb shank was delicious. Meat just fell off tje bone. Special pork chop with polenta was also delicious. The gastrique was a bit too sweet but did not ruin the dish for us. Service was fast and efficient. They request your stay is 90 minutes, and we were out well before. It's not very relaxing as your dish is cleared the moment you finish, but would definitely go again for the food!“

“Decided to stop by Wrights Station for a local getaway! Definitely a good spot to visit on the way to or from Santa Cruz. The two of us ordered 2 mixed tasters, and an empanada. Pricing was reasonable and staff was friendly. There is seating inside and outside. We were there during a Saturday afternoon, so it was relatively quiet, with only a few groups. Bocce ball available as well.Parking is available onsite as well.Shoutout Katie for being extremely friendly and courteous :)“

“What a place! I had never played bocce before but now I’m hooked. The games were fun, the people teaching us were great, and we had a blast. The food was also amazing. We had some pasta, pizza, salad, and desserts for our work event and everything was spot on. The desserts are absolutely the star of the show. I loved the tiramisu but you can’t go wrong with any of their options.I can’t recommend this place enough for work events or just a casual meal (with a highly addictive game to boot).Vegetarian options: We had vegetarian pasta and pizza options available to us.Dietary restrictions: We found a gluten free pizza option.Parking: The parking lot specifically for this place is limited, especially for the work event we put on. There is street parking and other nearby lots, so plan accordingly.“
“We loved visiting Regale and will be back! On the weekends they serve pizza, which was great, and we loved the wine as well. They also offer charcuterie boards. There is a lot of seating outside with nice views of the mountaintops and forest nearby. They had live music and many entertainment options including bocce ball, giant jenga, and giant chess.“

“Was trying to get some early drinks on a Friday afternoon in Los Gatos, most places weren't open yet, stumbled across Loma and decided to try it out. It's on a small side street and easy to miss, but look for the colorful chairs and maybe even some live music out front. Once you get inside, you order at the bar and take the a number to your table/seat. Good selection of craft beers and tasty. Good bar food (above average compared to most places). Will be back to try more beers!“

“A charming breakfast spot with a hint of southwestern charm, this small hole-in-the-wall kitchen offers a variety of egg dishes, some with their own unique twist. Popular options include the New York style Benedict and Jalisco scramble. The service can be a bit slow due to the bustling atmosphere (no room to wait inside, really). Despite the crowded and noisy setting, the staff are doing their best to ensure a pleasant dining experience. As for drinks, I prefer to stick with a comforting cup of hot coffee in the morning. The only thing is for some, the price can be a little higher.“

“Really delicious food in a very nice setting. As a vegan, it was really great to be able to try a vegan version of one of the main dishes. The complementary pickles and sauces are a very nice touch, and raise the authenticity a notch. The main dishes are relatively expensive, BUT they are generous, and if you can see in the photo, very finely seasoned! A main plate with a choice of two sides! I definitely ended up with leftovers. I just wish they had a vegan version of their borekas, and maybe a vegan version of topped style hummus. In addition to the pickles and extra tahini on request, one other point I was very impressed with is the bread - freshly made and very fluffy, not the boring bagged/frozen kind you normally find in American Mediterranean restaurants. Falafel was Goldilocks: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, not too dry, not too oily. The staff was very kind and attentive, but be aware it's in a busy area and the restaurant gets crowded, it may not be your best option if you're in a rush. Having said that, I enjoyed chilling out on the patio, slowly enjoying my food on a sunny day without being rushed.Vegetarian options: Vegan kebabs“
“Ordered a large mushroom pizza w olives to go after having an IPA inside. The pie was not that bad but it’s not Pizza My Heart either. They have Stella and an IPA on tab which would bring me back for their daily pizza specials. It only makes sense to order the Special pie of the day.“
“Love this gem of a place I just discovered. Very good Agedashi Tofu. If you have seen my reviews before you will realize that’s one of the ways I judge quality. Second, the Snapper nigiri was incredible. Best I have ever had. Tender, flavorful perfect. They were out of Hirame so I will have to return. And finally the Blue Fin Toro was incredible. It was my last bite and I know I will be back for more of everything. Very local and superb no-frills ambiance, unassuming and priced well. Foodies converge!“

“My friend hosted her bridal shower here, and the service was impeccable. They decorated the room and provided a delicious motley of drinks and food. The waitresses would also be helpful and consistently check in throughout the event. I got the iced latte, lychee mimosa, stuffed mushrooms, margarita pizza, italian wedding soup, the tagliatelle with truffle cream sauce, and a nonalcoholic frosé. Everything (esp the stuffed mushrooms and tagliatelle) was fantastic.“

“We were celebrating our anniversary that evening and were surprised with a custom Prix fixe menu that included "Happy Anniversary Wendy & Tod' at the top. The service and food was impeccable with great ambiance. Would definitely go back! The only wrinkle was the reservation had stated the dress code as "business casual"; however, several people came in with jeans, shorts, t-shirts and ball caps. For such a nice steakhouse in Los Gatos, I would have expected them to adhere to their own dress code.“

“The food was wonderful! Taylor (I believe that was his name) was the best server and knew so much about the wine list. He said he created the wine list and his recommendations were right on point. If you are in Los Gatos-, don’t pass this one up!“
“Beautiful setting with amazing views in all directions. Has a small tasting room (for bad weather) and a pleasant outdoor seating area, sometimes with gentle music, in a grassy amphitheater. The wines are all excellent, some from grapes grown here, some from central coast. Very knowledgeable winemaker and staff. Also boasts ecological approach. The grand deck now is covered for tastings rain or shine. "My favorite local winery."“

“The Golden Triangle was a yummy restaurant specializing in Thai and other Far Eastern cuisines and offers a vibrant dining experience. During our visit, we ordered 2 appetizers and 2 main dishes. of dishes. We savored the crisp papaya salad, succulent chicken skewers, creamy green avocado curry, and the fiery Tiwanese chicken, which featured their homemade hot sauce. While all the dishes were impressive, they were served simultaneously, making it slightly overwhelming to manage all at once.Although the service was somewhat slow, the staff were genuinely friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. Overall, The Golden Triangle provides a pleasant setting with excellent food, making it a commendable choice for those in search of authentic flavors from the Far East.Vegetarian options: A whole dedicated menu for vegetarians“

“The food is magnificent!! I am originally from Mexico and I've tasted hundred of taquerias and Mexican restaurants all over the Bay Area, and I can say without any doubt, Nina's Taqueria has the closest to authentic Mexican food taste I've had in a long time. I'll definitely be back here!!!“
“Let me start off by saying I never write reviews but feel compelled to do one after our visit.Testarossa for the win! My wife and I (mostly her) have traveled from the East Coast to the West Coast and abroad to visit vineyards or attend tastings. Saying this to say, we know a little about quality wine. We stumbled upon this vineyard while we were in California for a wedding. On an free day prior to the wedding, I was in charge of finding and booking tastings for us (mostly her). I had three tastings lined up for the day and Testarossa was stop #1. I read all the reviews to make a reservation so we did (and highly recommend). We decided on the tour (also highly recommended). It was raining that day, but the sun peeked out for about 7.4 seconds so we optimistically kept the reservation hoping for better weather. The rain continued - c'est la vie. But thankfully, we met our guide, Missy Elliot (not the rapper). She was/is the most knowledgeable, personable, amiable tour guide we ever met. She braved the elements for us, snuck in a few well timed anecdotes, and knew the history of the vineyard as if she lived there. She made Testarossa feel like family. The place was amazing and the wine was fantastic! The nicknames for the silos were hilarious. We sipped, lost track of time, and bought 4-6 bottles of their fine wine. Cannot remember specific amount due to the copious amounts of alcohol in our system. I accidentally broke a wine class and Missy was quick to come with a spray bottle that removed all traces out of my tan shirt. Testarossa is a gem and kudos to them for hiring Missy. She was the bright spot on a rainy day. Needless to say we didn't make it to our next destinations. After the tour, we headed to their patio for a snack. In my humble opinion, Testarossa is better than some of those pretentious vineyards to the north. Do yourself a favor, add them to your travel plans, you won't be disappointed.“

“I had Mr Pickles yesterday (Campbell location) and my husband took one bite of my sandwich and wanted to come back for his own haha! So we are back today. The server suggested Number 9 (turkey) on their Dutch bread, lightly toasted and it was so good! Chefs kiss! Portion size is huge! I can never finish an entire sandwich in one sitting, which is perfect because that means I have something to look forward to later. Highly recommend the garlic spread and Baja sauce for a kick. Great selection of chips, drinks and the merch!!! Couldn't help myself and got this hat The shop itself is small and clean. Very small town sandwich shop vibes. This location and the Campbell location is under new management who is very involved in the day to day. He came out to say hello and offer suggestions and sauces. Sandwich 10/10, Service 10/10!“

“Cozy pizzeria on Main Street. Not as busy as other places in downtown, so food comes relatively quick. Our waiter greeted us and waited patiently as we looked through the menu, even helping us whenever confusion arose. Wish the condiments that come with the breadsticks were separated, though, since the balsamic vinegar tends to mix with the olive oil after enough dips. Other than that, the food was amazing; we ordered two pasts and one pizza for a group of 4 and lift feeling full with some leftovers.“

“Came here recently because a friend had been wanting to check it out. The bartender was friendly and very attentive. Seems like they have a few regulars which is always a good sign. The food was delivered in a timely manner and the water is self serve which is always great when sitting at the bar. Overall it was a great environment and I would recommend the wings above everything else we ordered. The french dip sandwich was just the slightest bit on the bland side for me, even with the au jus.“
