“You know the sandwich is gonna be good when you see the cheese and meat in its own block. Sandwich for breakfast, lunch and dinner, yes. I've been here a couple of times and it never disappoints. I'm a Ruben type of girl but this most recent time, ordered cape cod. Who doesn't love the taste of Brie.... in a sandwich!? They put a hefty amount of meat in your sandwich which is awesome, I personally couldn't finish the other half of my sandwich. The owner really cares about putting locals first. “We are new to the area and decided to try Deli Delicious and we liked it so much we have already been back 3 times. The quality of the sandwiches is really good! We love the bread (especially the dutch crunch) and the sandwiches always look as amazing as they taste. We have had nothing but good quality sandwiches every single time. I also find the staff working there to be really friendly! Today there was a gentleman with glasses and a long ponytail that was so kind! We will of course be back for many more subs!“

“A warm and welcoming restaurant a short walk from the main drag in Carmel. The menu changes each time we visit and tends to be more innovative with seasonal fish, cross cultural influences and less used cuts and types of meat. It’s a contrast from other local restaurants as while other restaurants work to emulate various European cuisines this restaurant is just itself. The exposed brick and cozy interior create an intimate experience and compliments the meal. Personally we make a point of coming to this restaurant every time we are in Carmel because during a holiday weekend in the pandemic they sat us and stayed late when no one else in town would serve us. Will be back.“

“I got a cold cut sandwich the number 14 on wheat, I regret getting wheat bread lol I should've got white it would've been 10 times better, the cold cuts are good and they give you a lot, the fixings are fresh and also well seasoned, I want to go back and try hot sandwich next time. “I'm glad I waited on this review. I've been four times since they opened at the South Main location. 1st visit was years ago and was so disappointing I never went back. However my sister always raves about their beans and ribs and orders to go frequently. So I decided to give it another try. So happy I did. The service is friendly and prompt! The steaks and ribs have been great. The beans have been very good two of three times we've been back. And the blue cheese dressing is outstanding! It's the only place I will ear the entire iceberg salad! (Being from Salinas doesn't mean you have to love iceberg lettuce.) A small suggestion/request (from sis and me); put ketchup, and bbq sauce back on the table with a spicy option. And be a little more generous with the side of beans (at least more than a condiment size ramekin)! I think I would be more apt to drive from PG to dine there and my sis would frequent more for those two small changes! You have such limited staff and to see them running around to grab sauce and ketchup for most every table served in plastic waste is wrong and wasted time and energy for your staff.“

We also love the Laab Kai, Spicy Eggplant, Spring Rolls, and the Sautéed Mixed Vegetables. The staff and owner are great people.“

“Ok, I don't know what's going on with the reviews of this place. They are all over the map. If I had read them before coming here I would have passed on this place and I'm glad we didn't! The food was AMAZING. My husband and I normally have to drive to San Jose for Ramen, but not anymore! We got the edamame with spicy garlic as an appetizer and they were definitely finger licking good. I don't even like edamame lol, and I ate those. For dinner we ordered the shrimp killer roll and the hi roll. Both were super good. We also both got Ramen. I got the garlic sesame and my husband got the miso. It was all fantastic. We are Ramen snobs, and we were both exceptionally happy with our meals. We will definitely be going back there. The staff was also super friendly, and the food came out really quick! I say give this place a chance. Can't wait to go again!“
