“Found this gem online on our way to Redwood. The clam chowder soup was delicious with chunky chunky clams! Fish and chips was a little bland(fries was good). I also had their dinner special halibut entree and it was good. I just wish the sauce could bring out the flavor of the fish more. I'm not sure why the crab cake was popular because I didn't taste any crab.Overall. Clam chowder, yes. Everything else, maybe.Great service! Friendly staff!“

“We went for our ten year anniversary tonight. The food was super delicious and Zach our server was helpful, nice and friendly. Atmosphere is pretty and nice but chill. We will definitely go back for unami butter oysters and the chimichurri butter oysters. Also the candied bacon, and filet mignon. “Love Toni's. It is a charming unique restaurant full of locals who love it and a staff who care about making solid comfort food. You order at the counter, from the extensive menu on the wall, and then sit wherever you want in the many different comfortable spots. The atmosphere is so inviting, everyone seems to know each and yet, many included us in their conversations. On top of the "you are already family" feel, the food was outstanding too. Lots of typical diner food choices to pick from and breakfast all day. The milkshakes are all the rave and live up to the hype. I tried the "chicken pot pie soup" and it was literally like having gramma's chicken pot pie in a bowl. Delicious. The cheese loaded tater tots, suggested by a local, were perfectly crispy while also covered in warm real cheese. How they achieved this without soggy tater tots is surely magic. The turkey club was massive and the rye bread delicious. The homemade pies and gorgeous baked-goods are super tempting beckoning from their attractive displays. The service was prompt and friendly. Definitely glad we stopped at Toni's and discovered this gem of a local restaurant.“
“Lovely Inn, staff and service is excellent. Love the lobby sitting area with fireplace and restaurant 301. Very welcoming. Nice rooms, bathrooms a little on the small side but functional. Walk in shower would be better. We will be staying again in a few weeks on our return trip back.“
“We discovered a new favorite restaurant called The Kitchen in Arcata! If you are ever in the area it is the place to go especially if you enjoy great food! We were welcomed warmly upon arrival. The food was exceptionally delicious - fresh, flavorful and beautifully prepared. Portions were quite generous and the cost was economical especially given the quality of our meal. The service was attentive without being smothering. Our only regret is that we don’t live close enough to swing by on a weekly basis to enjoy their changing menu.“

It was absolutely wonderful.The service was a bit slow, but understandably. Our party of 10 was one of five birthday parties at dinner! So, with that considered, they did well.Oddly, they have a 15% gratuity policy for parties of 8 or more, yet actually charge 18%. I tip 20%+, so it didn't affect my budget. But, come on. Say what you do and do what you say.“
“I remember the old pantry that used to be in place of peppers, and it was one of the best breakfast places around, but Peppers has stepped it up a notch. The menu is amazing and their food is great quality. I highly recommend a visit.Dietary restrictions: I bet if you can't already find a dish to suit whatever restriction you have that the staff will be able to amend to any degree.“
“This restaurant has a great view of the ocean. We enjoyed watching the sun set while eating. We ordered the snapper and the seafood fettuccine. We added a side of crab, which was well worth it. The portion of crab was large for the price point. This restaurant is very high quality for the cost.“

“We loved this place so much we went here twice during our stay in Trinidad. I had the mashed potato waffle cone and the crab melt. Both were delicious, but my favorite was the potato. What a great idea! Hubs ate the burger and crispy chicken sandwich and gave a 10/10 for the chicken. Truly amazing food, nice restaurant with heaters (we needed them after kayaking in April!) and cool art on the ceiling and walls, and delicious local beer. Would love to come back again, sad that we live on the other side of the US and getting to Trinidad is quite a trek for us. Glad we made it out and got a chance to eat here and support the locals a bit.“

This is not an upscale spot, this is a dive, with better steaks than most upscale joints I've been to.“

Lost Coast has gluten free buns from Arise Bakery, and they were really decent as far as GF bread goes. I was so psyched to be able to eat a burger again!! And the cherry cider is so good. We ate at the bar and the bartender Marcus was phenomenal.“
