“Great staff always get my order right.Update on 11/13/23My son found some foil from where someone was smoking drugs in the bathroom. The time before there was a lady in the drive through yelling at an employ for free food and they gave her free food so she would leave and she kept on yelling at them until she dropped it all and then walked away when the police showed up. 2 weeks before that Me and my family were eating dinner and a homeless man came in stood in line for a minute than He sat down at the booth Beside us foaming at the mouth and muttering to himself and after a few minutes and after not ordering anything he stood and his bare butt cheeks was exposed. I know it's Burger King but come on I expect a little better. The foil in the toilet was the final strike for me. I will never go back.“
“Best clam chowder . It was steaming hot , not warm like most restaurants. . Very good food everything we had was great. The waitress was also bartender& had control of a full house. She was friendly & knew her job well. We will be back .“
“A Comforting Bite in the Rain - Roman's Kitchen, ArcataReview:Tucked away next to Humboldt Cal Polytechnic University, Roman's Kitchen is a beacon of comfort on a dark, rainy evening in Arcata. Known for its hearty selection of burgers, this quaint eatery offers the perfect refuge for a quick, satisfying meal.On my recent visit, the weather dictated a cozy night in, making Roman's Kitchen the ideal choice for takeout. Opting for a double patty burger accompanied by sweet potato fries, I was ready to indulge. The burger, while decent, didn't quite hit the 'spectacular' mark but was nonetheless enjoyable. The meat was nicely cooked, and the overall meal served as a great alternative to standard fast-food options. The service at Roman's Kitchen deserves commendation. Even in the midst of a rainy hustle, the staff managed to be both efficient and friendly, ensuring a smooth takeout experience. While the burger may not have been a culinary revelation, the combination of good food, friendly service, and the convenience of location earns Roman's Kitchen a solid 4 out of 5 from me. It's a spot I'd happily revisit when in the area, eager to explore more of what their menu has to offer. For anyone passing through Arcata or students looking for a tasty escape from campus fare, Roman's Kitchen is worth a stop. Check out their menu; perhaps something will catch your eye and tantalize your taste buds.Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5“
“We had breakfast here - the view of the coast was beautiful and we enjoyed watching the fishermen report to work. The atmosphere feels local, low-key, and quiet. We ordered way more food than we needed — portions are BIG!— and it was all delicious. I recommend the biscuits and gravy skillet, as well as the pancakes. Make sure to take time to walk down the little trail to the beach. Wish we could go back again to try dinner!“
“Stopped in here on a long road trip and was very pleasantly surprised at how good the food was and at the prices. I got the kiddo size fish and chips and it was nearly as large as the full size. We didn't go for the famous potato cone, but the fries and fish were delectable. There was ample parking as well.“
“Best burgers ever. I have been to countless restaurants all over the world and Stars Hamburgers has the best burger hands down. Fries are not the best, but not the worst. Took around 8 minutes to get my food. Pretty fast considering the size of the line. Good food, good atmosphere. 5/5Parking: Stars has a parking lot which usually has a few spots open as well at street parking and another parking lot a few feet away.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kid friendly options including a small burger in the "kids menu"“
“Food is always top quality, everyone who works there is very polite & I always enjoy coming to Carl’s.Vegetarian options: Just thinking about the Beyond Famous Star burger makes my mouth water, I can’t get enough of it.I do wish there was more burgers for vegetarians, but the Beyond Famous Star is literally so delicious, I couldn’t ask for a better vegetarian burger.“
“The woman who manages the restaurant is a very hard worker and kind, it's obvious she's dedicated to the job. The dining area and restroomsare always very clean there's a older gentleman who does a wonderful job keeping the place clean. Even when this restaurant gets very busy between the drive thru, curbside pickup and dine in customers they are able to complete orders in a reasonable amount of time and very seldom do they make mistakes on orders. Which I greatly appreciate because my order is pretty specific and I'm on a limited amount time during my lunch break. Anyone passing through the area and trying to decide whether to stop at the Arcata or McKinleyville location. I highly recommend stopping by this one to grab a bite to eat while driving through the areaParking: Lots of space for Semi Trucks or RVsWheelchair accessibility: Multiple handicap parking spaces and ADA accessible seating and restrooms“
