“Just like Newcastle produce I get excited when I see baked and brewed on the route sheet for our bicycle rides. The entire old Auburn area is really very eclectic. Baked and brew has a wide variety of baked goods, generous portion sizes and great coffee in an awesome staff. What's really especially good is that they have a lot of room to sit outside in the sun where you can warm yourself and enjoy your coffee and scone.“

“I enjoy coming here. I come for the cookies, pies, donuts, pastries, muffins, and other treats (and the friendly faces behind the counter are great, too!). I ordered lunch (to-go) several times, and all three experiences needed to be corrected. The first time I placed a (to-go) order, they forgot to include our chicken quesadilla - when we went back to pick it up, they missed the chicken in the quesadilla (we weren't going back a third time!). The second time I placed a (to-go) lunch order, they missed the request for no mustard in my BLT (insert sad face here). The last order placed was the $12.95 "More than a House Salad," which you would hope is not dull and bland. My salads need crunch and flavor, especially when indicated, "More than." “I bought this delightful handmade sourdough pasta this morning from Gina Marie's Custom Desserts. I topped it with a mix of garlic, Cremini and Shiitake mushrooms from BriarPatch Food Co-op, chicken, thyme, deglazed with a splash of white wine, lemon, and mixed in basket sheep ricotta from Bellwether Farms. I finished it with a drizzle of Meyer lemon olive oil from Calolea. It was superb! Well done Gina and crew!“

“These guys are great! I come in pretty regularly and get the same thing. These guys all know my "usual" and half the time have it ready by the time it's my turn to order! Everyone is nice, even when my food order is complicated! Usually fast, and always good.“

“Excited to find a bakery. Visually everything looked good. Cookies seemed high. Bought their day old bagels and other products. They said they boiled the bagels. However they were tough not chewy as I hoped. Tried the Cinnamon Crisp that is good. Have yet to try other products purchased.“
