“Mexican food is my comfort food. And Kito’s is some of the most delicious Mexican food I’ve ever had. It’s amazing! A lot of care and attention goes into the food. It’s the little details, like the way the cheese is melted on the veggie tacos and not just an afterthought on top, the seasoned tortilla chips, or the grilled corn kernels, the flavorful salsas (no watery salsa here), and the finely shredded cabbage. It’s those details that offer a glimpse into the dedication and care that goes into everything at Kito’s. The shrimp tacos are phenomenal. Go here. Now. And don’t miss out on the agua frescas or dessert…mmmm churros and buñuelos. If you like Mexican food, you will not be disappointed.“

“Well, I discovered this small place in the heart of San Rafael and pffff I fell in love with the cuisine that led me to remember my mother's food in my beautiful Mexico. I'm sure I'll come back to try more of the menu but today I tried some carnitas and asada picaditas and their super tasty horchata water, I fell in love with this little place“

“Amazing. From being greeted, customer service top notice. The food so good. Each of us ordered something different and we each others food. This ribs absolutely amazing. The fries done perfectly and I was able to get an iced coffee. Your order will be enough for 2-3 meals. Each of us could not finish our item. So funny I pass here almost every day to the gym, and I see the sign. I never stopped by and so now I will be here more often. My brother and his better half have been coming here for a few years. Thankful for this hidden gem. Blessed and tummy full.“

“I used to live nearby and found myself eating here again last night. This place has really capped its good high standards. In terms of keeping the place clean, orderly and very good customer service. The food is just a little above average but as of the people have mentioned the salsas are very good. The other food that is above average for a taqueria is the flan. Definitely one of the better taqueria flans I have had. Also have the chicken regular burrito and it was very good as well as the chips. They are a nice light quality chip. The lime agua fresca. You don't see everywhere so that was also really nice.“

“Came in for the first time for taco Tuesday yesterday and had the Al pastor and Baja fish tacos, they were delicious. Sounds like there’s at least a new chef and new manager, I can’t compare to previous mgmt but this new chef rocks! Bartenders were nice too. I’ll definitely be back :)“

“This is everything you want from fast casual Cal-Mex, with extensive huevos options that will cure your hangover and keep you going all day. What really sets it apart is the rotisserie chicken, the tenderest and tastiest you will ever find. You can get it with tortillas and sides for a full family dinner to go, or you can do what I did and pull all that tender meat off the bones and then boil them into a wonderful broth and put the meat back with some vegetables for the most robust and healing chicken soup ever.“

“Anymore I feel like I never get good customer service, and from my phone call to my experience eating in I got nothing short of incredible service. The manager alone at this establishment is someone you definitely want to support. The food is also delicious and they have a great happy hour! Vegan friendly as well :-)“
“The best taco in the Potrero Hill + Mission Bay neighborhood. The quality of the meats and salsas are outstanding - much better than some nearby restaurants, despite being a food truck. They put a lot of effort into picking a really nice spice blend, and the meats are grilled to a nice crispy texture. I recommend getting a sampler of several different tacos, as each meat is cooked in a slightly different way, yet all are very good. If you are more hungry, I recommend the pastor super burrito, which was the the best pastor burrito I've ever had.The prices are rather cheap for San Francisco. The asada super burrito, which contains avocado and comes with chips+ salsa, only costs $12. However, most competitors charge at least $14 for the same thing (including Chipotle which charges $15.35). This may sound weird, but I hope they can become popular enough to raise their prices. They deserve it.My main criticism is that the cochinita and poc-chuc tacos are a bit more expensive than the standard asada/pollo/pastor tacos, but I don't think that they taste significantly better than the rest. Also, I do wish they came to Potrero Hill more frequently, but I understand they need to serve other parts of the city as well. For comparison, the main competitors in the neighborhood are El Toyonase (which has an outstanding tripe burrito, but nothing else noteworthy), Street Taco (which also has an outstanding "meat only" street burrito, despite having lower quality meat), and Senior Sisig/Los Kuyas (which both have a unique fusion flavor, but are a bit too greasy and not as "fresh" tasting).“

“They were quick. As soon as you pay, a few min your order is ready. Great team work. Only 3 staff. It was so hot standing outside in the SF Fleetweek heatwave. Can you imagine those in fighter planes? Back to my grilled chicken regular burrito. So tasty, lots of meat, and the still warm chips (complimentary, thank you). I only ate half and ate up all the chips. Their green sauce is not really spicy at all. Need two of them. Super burrito had a lot more ingredients. Next time. Maybe its me, i've become de-sensitized with the surroundings. Not good. Girl got to eat. Businesses need us. If you walk southeast side of Mission between 8th and 9th st, the urban alchemy protects that side. You see their safety vest or walkie-talkie.“

“One of my favs for healthy dining. The Ahi Poke Wasabi Bowl is my go to dish and it checks all the boxes for an excellent post work out meal (healthy, tasty and fulfilling). Be sure to ask for extra sauce (a wasabi soy vinaigrette) and you'll be glad you did.Vegetarian options: Lots of menu items, so check out the online menu before you go.Dietary restrictions: The menu is broad and easy to tailor according to one's needs. In addition, Pacific Catch is more than willing and able to accommodate your request if it is within reason.Parking: Parking depends on the location. The Stanford Shopping Center has plenty of parking. The Chestnut Street (San Francisco) location is challenging street parking.Kid-friendliness: The Standford location is very kid friendly. San Francisco is so so.Wheelchair accessibility: Both locations are street level. Stanford is more wheelchair friendly as the layout is enormous. San Francisco is just the opposite.“
“Service 5/5 friendly and helpful Food 5/5 (though their pollo asado didn't look appetizing)Prices 5/5 honestly unbelievable for San Francisco Ambiance 3/5 - not in a good neighborhood, full of people blocking the entrance you have to be ok with talking to strangers to enter and maybe having some unpleasant dialogue. Honestly tho I'm from nyc and it felt kind of like home.I ordered a super taco bowl with the pollo en salsa roja and this thing was massive, basically a taco salad in a little plastic box. It comes with the crema which is the best part and the guy gave me queso fresco (not sure if that is normal or he was being nice.) I took it to go and ate it on the way to the sunset but this thing was massive and I honestly recommend enjoying it sitting down somewhere that's not inside the tiny hole in the wall storefront. The staff was really sweet and bilingual, clientele was a mix of Spanish and English which is always a good sign. If you're already in the neighborhood give it a go.“

“Picture this: it's 9:30 AM, and the only thing louder than our roaring motorcycles is our hunger. We stumble into this joint expecting side-eye glances, but instead, we're greeted with a warmth that could rival our exhaust pipes. Now, onto the main event – the burger. Cooked to perfection, with a spicy remoulade that'll wake you up faster than a triple shot of espresso. And don't even get me started on the bun – it's so magnificent, I almost asked for its autograph. So, if you're up for a morning adventure and a burger that'll make you forget it's not lunchtime, this place is your ticket. Just make sure your motorcycle's parked securely – you wouldn't want it to get jealous of the attention you're about to give this burger.“

“Reliable, fresh fish from sustainable sources. Great variety on the menu with seasonal changes. Really appreciate the gluten free menu and attentiveness to food allergies and preferences. The fish tacos were large and flavorful. The bowls are my favorite, with a variety of vegetables and protein options. Excellent, friendly service and pleasant atmosphere with lots of outside dining space.“
“I don't understand why more people aren't coming here! The service is always excellent, there's a good happy hour with heavy pours, and the food is good. They have changed the menu a few times, but the birria fries and smash burger taco are both delicious. There are lots of tvs and it's a very comfortable space. Really good place to watch a game. Try it out!“

“Amazing spot for fish and beer! I was visiting from out of town and stopped by to check this place out after spotting it on Maps and it did not disappoint! Tucked in behind the surf shop up front, Hook Fish Co. is a lovely oasis slinging a fantastic beer selection, along with some seriously delish fish with a Mexican flair. I split the ceviche and chips, which was decent enough but not outstanding, with a friend and then turned my attention to my fish burrito, which was absolutely outstanding. When paired with their habañero carrot hot sauce, their burrito transcended time and space. The outdoor space here is super cool and the vibe was very laid back and friendly. I strongly recommend this place for a beer and a meal and hope I get to make it back here at some point.“
