“Lately its been difficult after covid wrecked some businesses but Arax is still holding on even after losing some of their suppliers. The fresh and cracker bread have never disappointed. Customer service is great and the woman behind the counter is always sweet and nice to talk to.“
“The best, the best sandwich shop in Montebello, and surrounding cities for sure. The sandwiches are clean and simple, but that bread takes it to another level. It is still reasonably priced with all this inflation going on and the service is fast and they are just competent. Not like those Subway type employees, you know what I mean.“
“Vons bakery amazing! I've ordered cakes from them 3 different times and they have yet to disappoint. I've given them the ideas I had and told them the stuff I wanted forsure on the cake and they delivered all the time. I wish I could afford the fancy nice cakes at smaller bakeries where they go all out and probably end up paying over 100 on the cake. But if you don't have that luxury then vons is the way to go! I've paid less than 70$ everytime I've gotten one (all different sizes). The baker Xóchitl has been amazing. She's done two of the 3 we've gotten and by far great work. I only have one pic of the recent two. But will keep updated as the birthdays come along.“
“Every time I've eaten here it's been delicious! I've been coming here since i was a toddler, many moons ago. This was the go to place for all the "Tia's" for tamale making get - togethers.Across the street, LA Gloria, they would buy the "maza" for the tamales fests. Great times. I don't make tamales anymore but i surely do go for the tacos and work Pot Lucks/Holiday work celebrations. It's not far from work. I give this 5 STARS!!!“
“This is a large deli, market with a case of great options of set treats. There were so many options of sauces in jars and refrigerated ones. I bought house made meat sauce and white sauce.The deli had sandwiches and hot food. I'll have to come back and try.“

“I had a craving for a hot Italian beef sandwich with hot giadiniera but they don't have it so I ordered a beef dip with the giadiniera added to it. It did not disappoint. I'm glad it came in a smaller size as well so I could finish the sandwich. Yum! I'll be back to try more.“
“I ordered the Jeff’s table for pickup. It was warm and delicious. The flavors were there, the portion is big. It was a little greasy for me but I still couldn’t stop eating! The sandwich left me full the whole day! My husband ordered the Neela. He described it as interesting - an explosion of flavors. If you like a milder taste in sandwiches then this is not the sandwich for you. We would go back, I would probably order the Jeff’s special again but my husband would try the other veggie option they have.“

Fresh bread, very good meats and generous serving.For $5, you can add a very small serving of potato or macaroni salad and a medium drink. The potato salad was a little dry and tasteless. Free drink refills.Parking is limited, and the available dining area is small, but OK, if you arrive after lunch time.Recommended.“
“Was craving for a good italian sub and found this hidden gem near my work! Located across from the hospital. Parking was easy; street and parking lot behind the restaurant. Inside was filled with Italian goodies. They sold alcohol, cookies, bread, pasta, cheese, etc. Towards the back of the restaurant was tables to sit down and enjoy your sandwich. Came here for the 1st time with my coworker and we tried the Classic 6' sub with 2 sides. I got the macaroni salad and broccoli salad. The sides tasted ok to me but could be better. However, the sandwich was very tasty. I love how much meat and filling it was. I ate it all! We got a piece of tiramisu and that was very very good! The prices are affordable and the portions are huge. Definitely a place to go for lunch or anytime you are carving for a good Italian sandwich! *TIP: call to place your order if you are in a time crunch. We waited for 30 minutes for our food.“
