All protein were very well-seasoned, and NOT dry, which I was pleasantly surprised by. And David and Javier ran an efficient operation, and moved hungry people quickly. Both gentlemen were professional, courteous, and well-received by our congregation. My only desire for that day was if double the amount of chopped onions and cilantro could have been prepared (perhaps we only paid for the amount we got). Otherwise, TGC was great. The venue is beautiful. There is plenty of room for the dance floor and photo booth. The parking lot isn't very big but plenty of room on the side street. If you are looking for a nice and clean venue with wonderful and hard working staff, Azar Event Center is a perfect location.“

“Hot high 80's day? A popsicle sounds great!Located across from Mission San Gabriel, Nomad Ice Pops looked to be a refreshing solution on a hot Fall day. Being Dia de los Muertos/Halloween season, Nomad Ice Pops had some popsicles shaped like skulls. After perusing the menu, horchata stood out & compelled a purchase.Horchata ($3.50)-Sabroso! Horchata was one of my favorite drinks, when I didn't care about sugar, calories, good health, diabetes. Heck, I remember I bought a large horchata from a former Albertaco's in Hawaiian Gardens, only to come back in a hour or so & buy another one. For shame! Anyhoo, Nomad Ice Pops' dairy-free horchata popsicle had all the taste & flavors of horchata that I remembered. It was frozen solid, meaning it didn't melt at all on a high 80's day. I ate the whole popsicle one bite at a time, which made things less messy.Service was good. Nomad Ice Pops operates as a takeout window. Parking is via street or at Mission San Gabriel.Nomad Ice Pops cooled me off on a hot day. I enjoyed my horchata popsicle & appreciated how solid it remained while consuming it. “We had a party with over 50 ppl and the star of the show was our Lechon Roast Pig. The quality of the meat was excellent, very moist with a crunchy skin. Transaction was done entirely via text/Zelle and very easy. The Lechon was packaged nicely for transport and pick up was very easy.“

The venue was very helpful with planning and helped create the perfect details for a memorable party. The menu options are plenty and all food was great, all guest enjoyed the variety of dishes and beverages. The venue worked with us so third-party vendors like cake baker, band, DJ, decorations, and photographers had early access to prep. Once the party began the venue staff made our diverse group of guests, many that had not attended this type of banquet feel very comfortable and offered polite service and drinks as needed. Just walk a few steps and whatever you're in the mood for, there it is. They're all independent businesses with patio seating or indoor communal seating. There's a burger place, they offer both vegan and meat burgers, a Jamaican spot (get the oxtails), a pad Thai spot, pasta/pizza, Indian cuisine and a bunch more I just can't remember off the top of my head. The service was great, they bring you your food if you're dining there, and the ambiance was chill. You're definitely not on the west side :) Highly recommend, especially on those days when the grand central market is just too crowded.“
