“It’s a very casual dine-in Thai restaurant that serve authentic food, well, based on the menu because I ordered BBQ Chicken ?. Either way, the food was good and it came around $23.The chicken I ordered had a good sauce glazed on top and it also can with rice, a fried snack, a salad (or soup), and a sweet sauce you can pour on your meal which went very well with the rice. After I finished they offered me a small sweet bean soup as dessert for free which was also good. For drinks I ordered a Thai iced tea w/ boba to go along with my meal and a Thai iced coffee to go; both were very good.Next time I’ll try to order something more ambitious than something from the appetizer section.Edit: Around year after, I went back to this place and tried the shrimp cakes. Beautiful, this shrimp tasted good and the bread was very crispy. The black rice pudding is still my favorite.“
“so good! my wife's first time and she got the mixed veggie plate, the broth was so full of flavor and all the veggies crunched. my spicy thai fried rice was perfect! definitely spicy though, and it's a big serving so if you love spicy, i highly recommend.“
“One of the best Thai food spots in Pasadena/Altadena- and that’s quite an achievement given the competition. Miya sets themselves apart with a well crafted menu, cozy and uniquely decorated space, and neatest of all, every Tuesday they have an all vegetarian menu with some unforgettable choices. Honestly worth checking out before the place inevitably becomes famous and the line for a table always out the door! Also huge shout out to the staff who took the time to walk us through the menu, explain how the restaurant dining choices worked, and generally went above and beyond to make the experience match the quality of the food!“
“Best Thai food I've ever had. Their burgers are great, too. Best service ever! I highly recommend the Angry Chicken, Pad Kee Mao, and Beyond Burger.Update: This place just keeps getting better. They did such an amazing job helping cater a Harry Potter Party. Thanks so much!!!“
“We love coming to this place for a Thai cuisine! I would say the service rates three out of five since they are so busy, and take quite a while to get you seated. However it's doesn't come as a surprise, the food is amazing. Typically always pair my curry or the pad sew with one of there Thai iced tea. Overall, this is the best Thai spot in Rosemead area. Atmosphere is cozy but definitely on the loud side your looking for a romantic spot this wouldn't be it. You“
“Thai Thyme is one of the best, if not he best Thai Food I’ve ever tried. Pad Thai is wonderful. Entres are perfect and soups are made with the best veggies and broth ever. We love it here. Cannot recommend it more ? We got mango sticky rice for dessert and came in a heart shape. Worth driving to Monrovia and experiencing these amazing plates. Plus service is wonderful. Very attentive and graceful. Please enjoy it for yourself.“
“It was my first time coming here and let me tell you it's amazing. The portions are good and the service and atmosphere is super friendly. Such nice people helping you out. I would definitely be coming back here again. Their thai tea is a must to get!“
“Wonderful! Highly recommend this restaurant. The orange chicken, jasmine rice and spinach was amazing and the chicken was tasty and tender. We also ordered the milk fried chicken, rice noodles, and power greens which was equally amazing. The staff were very nice and attentive.“
“Very inviting atmosphere, incredibly cozy. I'd love to take someone on a date here if I lived in the area. Great food, I've only been there once but I can vouch for their Tom Kha and their Spicy Basil. Very affordable for the area. Their bathroom is very small and placed at the back corner of their kitchen, you need to ask to go use it. Would love to come again.“
“Holy Basil is instant comfort that teleports you home. The dishes are flawlessly executed and the flavors are consistently on point. The vibe of this hidden gem reminds you of your family’s kitchen and I feel like a kid again full of excitement from the escaping aromas. I lean heavy into firing the menu family style and always look forward to memorable meals shared. Their take out withstands LA traffic to the far away land of Santa Monica. Service is hands down the friendliest in town.“
“We came on a Sunday, it is somewhat busy. The location has a few small Thai stands. We ordered the mango sticky rice coconut cakes and green onion coconut cakes. They are $10 ( each has around 8 pieces ).The coconut cakes are sweet , creamy and flavorful, they made it right in front of you so they come out warm. The mango is sweet and not sour so we are satisfied. Remember to bring cash cause they accept cash & zelle. After they take your order, they give you a ticket and they make your food. You just need to bring that ticket to get your food. The wait is around 25 minutes for the food, and there are 3 long tables next to the stand so you can eat there. We walk around the Thai grocery store across the coconut cake stand when waiting for food.It is a nice place to experience some Thai coconut cakes! Would recommend this place.“
“A little pricey for what you get. Dude at the cashier is not friendly what so ever. After I paid for my to go order, the receipt printed out and he was standing there waiting for me to add a tip. Personally, if you want a tip, be polite and friendly. And I believe tips should be given if the service is great or if someone eats in and they have to clean up after them. Not just because.. again, I would have tipped if he was polite even though I’m taking it to goParking: Not much to talk about“
“This is by far the best Thai restaurant in the Greater Los Angeles area. The presentation of the food is always perfect, they use the freshest ingredients, and the staff is great. We can order the same dish every time & it always tastes amazing. We will literally order too much food just so we can have left overs... can't get enough of Yum Zaap!“
“Always a quick stop for high quality food for a cheap price. Very friendly service and delicious and affordable options. A great choice for lunch or dinner on any night. My go-to is chicken teriyaki but Korean BBQ beef short ribs and Thai BBQ chicken are great options too.“
“A very small Thai restaurant but great food. There isn't a very big parking lot in the back but you can find parking nearby on the streets. There also isn't many tables inside so that is why the wait times get so long. Luckily, we came at a good time and didn't have to wait. The employees are friendly and have good service too.We ordered the pad thai, pad see ew, chicken satay, khao soi. The satay was okay but I really liked the pad thai and pad see ew. However, the portions are a bit on the smaller side for the price. One dish is barely enough for one person. But I guess the size is good for trying different dishes with friends.“
“Excellent food! A wonderful family run restaurant. My whole family goes crazy for their crab Rangoon and shrimp and veggie tempura. The golden shrimp dumpling curry is also amazing. They just expanded the menu, very excited to try more dishes. Have never been disappointed, and very friendly staff and owners!Vegetarian options: Lots of dishes can be made with tofu“
“We stopped by for a quick dinner on our first day in east LA. We had the orange chicken, kung Pao combination, jasmine and brown rice with iced green tea. The portions were large, food was delicious, hot, and the service friendly. It was a great start to the week.“
“Hands down some of the best Thai Food I've had throughout NorCal and SoCal. While I regret being so damn full every time I leave, I can confidently say I've enjoyed everything I've had. 5/5 - Pad See Ew Flavorful, great portions, and came out piping hot. They serve the spicy vinegar with it but you don't even need it, even when you get to the last 25%. 4.8/5 - Kwan's Pad Thai Girlfriend got this, was great. With or without lime, the flavor comes through and is delicious. Noodles were cooked well and when you take a bite with some Papaya Salad? Immaculate. 4.5/5 - Papaya Salad Yummy and spicy. No complaints here. 4/5 - Fried Shrimp Roles Damn good and just the right amount of crunchy. Portion size was quite generous too. 5/5 - Panang Curry SO GOOD. Not too sweet, not too savory and comes with just the right amount of rice. I got it with chicken but I'm curious how the other meat options would taste. My mouth is drooling a bit thinking about it. 4.5/4 - Chicken Satay Yum. Good with or without the peanut (?) like sauce. Chicken had a nice bite and was very soft on the inside. Comes on skewers so be careful not to stab your mouth as you inhale these. Longan Drink Hard to rate a drink but it was yummy. Not too sweet and had a good taste to it. A little pricey for how much you get but I'd say it was pretty worth. Service was pretty good with the staff being very attentive and coming around asking if you needed anything or had any questions. There was a family that obviously never had eaten Thai food before and it was sweet to see the server being very friendly with an explanation on the items. Definitely recommend coming here for a meal.“
“Hello! Well being that I have gone to Thailand, I think my review will be valid. First things first is the welcome value 5 stars. The most sincere and pleasant staff. Service time above average. Plating was very visually appealing. Had the lunch special eggplant. Was cooked to my perfection. Overall what was most important was the smiles. That is what made the experience a full star rating.“
“Excellent vegan food. I got the vegan pho, which was HUGE. Normally vegan pho comes with more vegetable in it and this one comes with only spinach, so I decided to order a side of steamed broccoli. But when the soup came, I was shocked at how big the portion was. To be honest I was starving and even then I could have not ordered the broccoli and been fine. There was plenty of spinach in the phon and it was packed full of flavor. The waitress was very friendly and the place was clean. Parking was ok, I ended up parking on the residential street to the left of the restaurant because the lot seemed too packed directly in front of the restaurant.Vegetarian options: EverythingDietary restrictions: Vegan, gluten-free“
“10/10, I would recommend! It is lovely and the atmosphere is very positive! The decors and the unique dish specials it offers illustrate Thai cuisines with some modern innovations. The lunch special is unforgettable with exquisite tates and a variety of side dishes that come with it. Take a chance to eat the lunch specials before 3pm. It is about 11 dollars for the choice with a tea. It brought back memorable childhood memories! Try it with friends and loved ones!“
“When we walked we got off to a rough start when it took a little while to be seated. There are signs that ask patrons to be patient, which sets up your expectations. The ladies working there are so cute and very welcoming. They hustled and were kind and polite. We ordered Pad Si Ewe and Satay and both were flavorful and delicious. We also ordered mango with sticky rice, which came with a huge portion. I have no words on how good the food was! Great place would go again.“
“Upon stumbling upon this charming little hole-in-the-wall Thai restaurant, we were warmly greeted by the owner and promptly seated. After perusing the menu, we decided to start our culinary adventure with the Crispy Rolls priced at $11. These fried spring rolls filled with glass noodles, cabbage, carrots, and taro, served with a delightful sweet and sour sauce, were a vegan delight. For our main courses, we indulged in the flavorful Pat Thai priced at $15, featuring rice noodles with beef, eggs, bean curd, sweet radish, bean sprouts, and green onions, all topped with roasted peanuts. Our second entrée was the Suji Dry priced at $17, a generous portion of glass noodles stir-fried with chicken, garlic, celery, carrots, Napa cabbage, and onions, tossed in a savory Japanese Sukiyaki sauce. The portion sizes were surprisingly large, easily satisfying two people per plate and proving to be great value for the price. The restaurant exuded a cozy, homely ambiance that instantly put us at ease. The welcoming atmosphere, coupled with the soothing background music, enhanced our dining experience. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food, generous portions, and inviting atmosphere. It's a hidden gem that deserves to be shared with others seeking a memorable dining experience. I look forward to returning to explore more of their menu offerings in the future.Vegetarian options: Most of the dishes if not all can be eaten without and meat.Parking: There are paid parking or free parking less than block away.“
“There’s something about Thai food where even when you don’t know what you want to eat, Thai food will always hit the spot, and so will Daisy Mint. I usually get the drunken noodle with shrimp, green curry with veggies, and the crying tiger.“
“Vibe: Cozy and clean, with a fresh feel.Service: Timely and friendly service added to the pleasant experience.Food: The yellow curry, white rice, mango sticky rice, and hot jasmine tea were delicious!General: Amazing value for the price, and parking was hassle-free.Conclusion: Overall, a fantastic dining experience with a cozy atmosphere, friendly service, delicious food, and great affordability. Highly recommended!“
“I have been coming here often for the past three months because of how good the food is. The food in the pictures are the Pad Kee Mao, Thai fried rice, Chili & Lemon shrimp saap, and the Chili & Lemon chicken wing saap. The other dishes that are also very delicious are the Pad see ew, BBQ pork fried rice, teriyaki chicken plate and the Tom yum seafood soup. The flavor is great and the price is right. Highly recommend if you are in the area and would like some delicious food!!!Parking: Very limited but you can find street parking if you don’t mind walking“
“Singkawang is one of my go-to authentic Indonesian restaurant that I frequent whenever I'm in the area. My favorite dishes are the Sambal Sticky Beans and Shrimp, as well as the Curry Laksa, both are spicy and flavorful. Nasi Padang and Red Curry is just average.“
“Every time that I try a new Thai restaurant, I ask for a Pad Thai. The rationale is that if that staple of Thai cuisine is not well prepared, there is little else to look for in that place. Interestingly, the menu showed the dish prominently, calling it their signature dish. And, boy, they delivered! The flavor was so well balanced, and the noodles were rightly cooked, and with the right moisture, not the mess of sticky overcooked noodles you get some times. The accompanying Chinese eggplant was well prepared, too. 10/10.The same goes for the "fish" dish my wife had. Finally, the mango with sticky rice was sublime. The service was excellent. The seating is ok though.Vegetarian options: This is a vegan place“
“"Hidden gem" definitely describes Eden Thai. It's an unassuming little restaurant, but absolutely worth supporting. The food is great for the price (the pineapple fried rice is my personal favorite), and they have free delivery available. The owners are very sweet as well. Now that the pandemic is over, this place deserves a good update in interior decor to really get people to come in and stay for indoor dining!“
“I was just passing by on my way to a work meeting and was craving Yellow curry.Let me just say that the rice was fresh and fluffy, pairing just perfectly with the yellow curry and chicken. There was a generous amount of chicken, potato and carrots which some restaurants skip out on.The staff were super friendly and attentive. I will definitely come back when I’m in the area again.“
“This place is nothing but exceptional. Our server Justin Godoy was an incredible person and we are so glad that he was the one helping us during our visit. The food was delicious and Justin’s attitude was exceptional, making sure we were always eating comfortably. Definitely recommend eating here. Thank you Justin!“
“This is my first time here in person (usually I order on uber eats which delivery is free ?) and let me tell anyone who reads this the flavor this food has in amazing. Good portions and a reasonable price! And to top it off the owner Jack is such a sweet caring attentive person. He's the reason I will be returning in person just to enjoy a delicious friendly meal. Thank you everyone for the hard work ?“
“Quaint place with Thai decor and good food. First time trying and their flavors are nice. I ordered a yellow curry. Not overly sweet and mild spicy was just right. Nice hot egg roll and salad with it, along with rice. I liked their tofu soup as well. Simple. Rice soup was also pretty tasty and this place has other dishes that are not the typical Thai menu items that people usually know about. The owner was nice and atmosphere too.“
“This Thai spot is phenomenal. The owner cooks food that is authentic, plated beautifully, and unapologetically flavorful. Each bite is a time travel bomb that takes me back to the time I was gorging myself at street food vendor stalls in Bangkok. The location is within an office space area used for AA and community meetings. It comes across humble and the dining area is separate from the actual community building space. The tables are clean and extremely well kept. The owner clearly pays attention to detail when it comes to maintaining her dining area and silverware/cutlery. The owner herself is very accommodating and welcoming. She takes the time to answer questions about the menu and offers adjustments to spice levels if needed. She also cooks and serves all the food herself with the help of one other individual in the back kitchen, so patience is key but completely worth the time investment. The food was so outrageously delicious I didn't have time to take more pics the first time I went. It was so good in fact, I came back immediately the next day to try the crab fried rice pictured below. The serving sizes are generous and the spice and flavor is second to none. I'm so impressed with how high quality all the dishes are and everything tastes so impeccably fresh. Crab fried rice - the crab meat is legitimately fresh and generously portioned. The rice is well seasoned and the veggies mixed in with the egg are a perfect compliment to the crab. I really enjoyed this dish and it comes with a side of spicy seasoning sauce you can add to kick up the heat a notch. Crying Tiger - not pictured below, but man what a stand out dish. The flavor of the rib eye pieces are so well balanced and the dipping sauce for the meat is so distinct it really adds depth to the rice and salad accompaniments. I really enjoyed the dressing on the salad as well, and the amount again did not disappoint. I have nothing but overall praise to give this place and I know I will be frequenting this spot often for the foreseeable future.“
“Love Thai and the drunken noodles are my favorite specially spicy with shrimpAnd #4 season wow I drove from lemoore that’s 4 hours away this place is worthy of it and it has a tv where u can watch family feud and eat at the same timeWheelchair accessibility: It has handicap parking and wheelchair accessible I’m disabled I have a prosthetic leg and the walk from parking to front door is not far at all“
“This is a favorite. We go as often as we can. We’ve lived very close or nearby and just stumbled on it about 10 years ago and fell in love. Great clean healthy food and restaurant. The owners are wonderful. Friendly courteous and it’s a must if you like Thai food. We’ve dined as well as takeout both are great.Parking: Decent size lot with for a mini mall and there are always plenty available.“
“Was passing through on a Sunday afternoon when the Wife and I searched for Thai lunch...ran across this quaint place. Food came out hot and fresh. Quality and quantity were good for the price and the presentation was quite surprising... well done (see photos). Service was friendly and quite hospitable. This place is quite small, so it is recommended to either call for takeout or show up in small groups of 4 or less as seating is very limited, but quite a treat for the sitdown service. We had Pad Thai and Pad See ew and Thai Tea. Definitely recommend and we will be back.Parking: The parking lot is small and limited as this location does have other businesses.“
“Wow! I'm not sure where to start. Other than this place is amazing. I ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl. So let me say I was impressed. At first, i was kind of regretful. i didn't sit in and eat because of the veggies. i thought they would be soggie, but no, they were still crispy. An other think I loved was that the chicken was cooked over an open flame.and then it was packed. The meat and veggies were separate, so my rice was also still fresh. Following that the serving size I my opion was very fair. They are not gready. Furthermore. They are really polite, but as always, don't just take my word for it. Give it a try.“
“With quite a few choices for Thai food in this area, this is always my first choice. The employees are always so friendly and the food is always perfection. The price is extremely fair and you get both quality and quantity. This will be your go to for thai food I promise.Vegetarian options: You can get almost anything vegetarianDietary restrictions: They are willing to accommodate“
“I really like this place alot great service and Nice chef. I order fried rice and the amount they give me is fit the price they asking you. Taste really good you can tell they fried it with sauce and make sure seasoning is not too much to where over do it. I recommend if any of you guy looking for quick stop for Thai food this is the place for you.“
“Why have I waited so long to try this place? We ordered tofu and broccoli off their lunch special as well as chicken pad see ew. The lunch special comes with vegetable soup but they brought out an extra one which was so generous and kind. The soup doesn’t look all that appetizing at first but wow does it make up just glorious savory, garlicky flavor. Both entrees were excellent, seasoned just right. The entree size pad see ew was enough for us to share. Looking forward to going back and trying more dishes!“
“Exceptional, customer, service, with authentic outstanding food. If I can give 10 stars, I would. If your looking for Thai food, I highly recommend this spot. If your dish isn't up to par, they will make it right customer service at its finest, how it should be. I will be coming back next time I crave Thai food. Thank you for a wonderful experience.“
“The food was exceptional! What really topped off our experience was the ambiance and the presentation in which the food was served. The good energy started as we were greeted at the door and continued through the whole visit. My wife and I got the Siam beach-club egg rolls as a starter and were served our entrees shortly after. One of the biggest things I notice when going out that makes or breaks my experience is the attentiveness of our server. 5/5 stars in that department! My wife dropped a knife, and she was over with a replacement as it hit the ground.I had the Malay Captains curry chicken (pictured below)My wife had the banana leaf chicken.Again, the presentation was outstanding, I definitely let out a few "whoa's" as the food was delivered. The owner was present as well and came by twice to ensure our satisfaction with our food and experience. We are coming back soon!Dietary restrictions: I was asked as we were seated if we had any dietary restrictionsParking: Underground garage and plenty of nearby street parking“
“This was a restaurant I stumbled upon while buying egg tarts nearby at Phu’s bakery. They have a lot of options and have large portions. I had bought the dishes home. Pad see ew, rad na (thick rice noodles with gravy), and pad soon sen. these were all delicious. The catfish dish was alright. I probably won’t order that again as it was quite hard and sweet.Service was good for to-go. Ambiance: They have quite a bit of seating and can accommodate large groups.“
“Absolutely loved Oba! Came for my daughter's birthday and the service was amazing, the food was fresh and delicious, and everyone that works there is so nice and kind! My favorite dishes were the chirashi bowl, jalapeño yellowtail, garlic noodles, sashimi plate, shrimp tempura and red curry! It's so great to be able to pick from a Japanese and Thai menu! Will definitely be back and highly recommend!!“
“Thai Daily BBQ is one of the most affordable Thai restaurants in Los Angeles. The food is very good and the portions are large and worth the cost. Although the neighborhood in which is located may not be the best neighborhood in Los Angeles it is safe and easy to access. Overall, I enjoy buying my Thai food at Thai Daily BBQ and frequently buy take out there. I highly recommend Thai Daily BBQ to anyone looking for affordable good quality Thai food in the East Los Angeles area.“
“I've been to this place several times, and I love their Thai curry! If this place gets crowded, it does get a bit hectic, but that's just how good they are. Price range for each person could average between $15-20 since most of their items are around that price.Parking is near the back on the main street in a garage, but I would be careful if you try to leave your car to discover the area since they do close it. If you're not able to find parking in the garage, which has happened to me several times, parking on the street can be a bit difficult if you want to park close to the restaurant. Most times, I just park on the residential area so I can walk to my car after getting full.“
“Food court restaurant, Chinese speaking mostly. Tried their Tom Yum noodle before, a bit salty but good taste. My favorite dish here is their Chinese broccoli with Crispy Pork. Goes great with rice and very tasty. Pineapple fried rice here is also very decent.Overall, great neighborhood/food court restaurant with good dishes for decent money.“
“An intimate Thai eatery with nice date ambiance and elevated prices to match. Staff was friendly but not very attentive. Parking can be a bit hard to find on the street so your best bet is at the lots/garages nearby when it gets busy. Pretty small restaurant, could see there being a wait on the weekends. We came later on a Thursday night. Tried the Pearl summer roll, Thai fried rice, and green curry. The summer (spring?) rolls were incredibly overpriced, just a bunch of cheap salad ingredients wrapped in rice paper with (way too sweet) peanut sauce and mustard (???) on the side. Definitely skip! Thai fried rice was good but too sweet for my taste, I much prefer Nine & Nine's version (close by & cheaper). The green curry, though, was one of the best I've had in LA so far. I highly recommend. Really creamy and well flavored, with tender bamboo shoots, chicken, and veggies. And a nice spicy kick to finish! Would come back to try more of the curries.“
“Hello, my family and I have been coming here since 2011. We have all seen this restaurant develop and change. The staff get older and some move on, we enjoy and return to this local because of the familiar tastes and the blissful memories we all enjoyed here for many years. My grandmother, may she rest in peace. My parents prior to separationMy wife as we datedThe memories this restaurant gave use and the opportunity to connect it allotted us are irreplaceable. So, do I recommend? Yes! join our family in creating more memories and enjoy a bowl of chicken Tom kah with a side of jasmine rice and an a la carte beef broccoli dish mix them up and refresh yourself with an iced, Thai tea boba!We recommend it!May many more years of blessings come to us all.Dietary restrictions: Cooks are flexible, just ask - we have had to ask for accommodations before too, not a problem.Parking: You can park in the open lot or in the parking structureWheelchair accessibility: DP parking available“
