“I've dined here a number of times especially when I worked in Agoura Hills. Urbane Cafe is my favorite place for healthy eating during lunch and dinner hours. I usually order the salads, but they have a great selection of soups and sandwiches, the sandwiches made with freshly baked focaccia bread. The bread is served with all meals. Recently had the Keto Cobb Salad with chicken and it was superb served with a blue cheese dressing. Plenty of good seating here, service is timely and overall ambiance is welcoming. There is a kids cafe and a nice vegetarian menu. Highly recommend the Urbane Cafe.“

With good portions; I can eat one whole bowl or salad by myself in one sitting and be full. It is set up as more of a to-go type of eatery, but they do have one long table and a couple of smaller tables (and an additional couple of tables outside). The service is what throws me off! The first time I went it was okay, second time- amazing, and this last time was confusing. In their defense I honestly had no idea what I was ordering, what modifications I can make, what dressings are available, etc. so I asked a few questions, got more confused and left with whatever they gave me! Still tasted great, I just don't know how to order it again :)“

May seem a little pricey for a lunch special ($16.99 and $15.99) but it's a GREAT deal because after lunch it's $22, no drink (worth it either way.) You get what you pay for. Sauce is excellent - tastes like my Italian Grandma spent hours over the stove. Takes me four or five hours to make a sauce that tastes like that. 10 out of 10. Just a touch of sweetness, exactly the way I love it. The chicken and eggplant and salad were great, seasoned just right. My first time here but I will definitely be back to try the pizza. Other reviewers called it a hole in the wall, but I thought it was very nice and clean with great "pizza place" vibe. Other reviewers didn't like the servers, but mine (young man) was very nice and attentive. The employees are very clean, and make sure to wash hands before touching other people's plates. The chef's are literally magicians that can make the most outstanding sushi ever. This is definitely not your normal sushi place. They have many out of the ordinary dishes made with sushi that when you taste them it makes you wonder why other sushi places aren't making those! Then I had my usual, their Baja California Burger, which is a grilled half pound beef patty, guacamole, hatch chiles, jack cheese, roasted jalapeno-lime aioli, red onion, and lettuce. I had the pickles on the side, and also my tomatoes, which I had grilled on the side. For my side order choice, I got their pickled cucumber salad. This burger is, BAR NONE, the BEST burger ever!!!!
