“We’ve been going here for years and we like it very much. I don’t know if they changed chef, recipes or owner but the food was NOT the same. The bread that is the most delicious bread I’ve had in a restaurant (and look forward to it) was very different (no bad, but nothing like before) the antipasto salad was so overdressed that when we were done it had and inch of dressing on the bottom, I had pasta with clam marinara sauce …… Awful…. It tasted like they opened the can of sauce and dumped it on top of the pasta and they did the same with the clams. It tasted like the metal from the can, no seasoning at all. Needless to say I sent it back and lost my appetite. My husband ordered something Alfredo.. it was in a bath of buttery sauce not pleasant.if you changed recipes…. Please go back to the original one. We will go back.. hopefully it was just a bad day.“
“The food was good, but I didn't enjoy my meal as much as I hoped to. The salad was just okay. The vinaigrette tasted unexpectedly sour. Not it's usual good tangy flavor. I ordered the bbq tri tip sandwich. The meat was tender and thinly sliced but no taste of bbq. I was disappointed with that. Service was good, no complaints there.“
“My only true complaint about this Lazy Dog is that it's not closer to where I live. I love Lazy Dog but there's none in the north 818 so if Ive got a craving, I gotta jump on the 101 and drive up to Oxnard.The staff here is always nothing short of wonderful. They're always friendly, helpful, accommodating for a family with 3 small kids, and in the rare instance that there's a delay in the food coming out or a mistake, they're quick to apologize and make good. It's something I wish other restaurants would do as well. It's not hard to do.Food here is good. It's nothing classy, but it's full of fun, flavorful takes on classic restaurant food. I've had several things here and have never been disappointed. My go to, however, is the PB&J bacon burger. Don't let the PB&J turn you away. It's so good! Perfect blend of sweet & savory. I also want to shout out their beers. They're fantastic. They offer a great beer club subscription that, once again if I lived closer to a location, I would sign up for in a heartbeat. If you live close to this location and like their beers, it seems like a no brainer to me to sign up.“
“Wheelchair accessibility: Nobody in my party was in a wheelchair but I did notice that there are no steps From the parking lot all the way to a table. There's plenty of room to put a wheelchair at a table simply removing one of the restaurants chairs. I don't think a person in a wheelchair would have any difficulty at all.“

Love to get the grande nachos and split them with my husband, but the tostada salad with shrimp, black beans, and mixed greens is so amazing, too. It's a little on the pricey side, but worth it. Be sure to sign up for rewards, though. Comes in handy when you can get $7 off!“
“I’m very critical with my reviews, so believe me when I say that this place has got to be the best fast food joint I have ever been to. I come here quite often and I consistently get A+ service as if I were in a Michelin star restaurant. The food is also consistently very good, in fact the new honey pepper pimento sandwich was probably the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. While other restaurants have betrayed me(I’m looking at you chipotle), chik fil a constantly outdoes itself. Bravo, chik fil a, God is good.“
“Just tried El Fortin as they had a food booth at the Guelaguetza in downtown Oxnard. The tlayuda was one of the best that I have tasted. The chorizo on it was delicious. My wife and a cousin had a quesadilla with mushrooms and flor de calabasa. It was served on a home made corn tortilla. Simply phenomenal. This will be my go to place for authentic Oaxacan food like my jefita used to make. Staff was very friendly.“
“I came here for the first time today. Leslie the cashier helped me out. She was very welcoming when I came in and helpful with explaining their menu options. I asked for a recommendation and she recommended the California bowl. She was really interactive with me and made my experience very pleasant. “Impossible patty melt - super yum! I would probably ask for a side of the sauce but very good. Strawberry limeade stealing the spotlight - I has to stop myself from getting a third cup. Delicious! Tempura green beans looked delicious but alas, I decided to skip. Service was friendly and fast. Typical ambiance of a faster food place.“
“Yum .. lunch special pizza!!! I got the lunch special for a little more than $7 for 2 toppings. I feel that's it's a good deal but it's gotten smaller. I love this location it is in a beautiful place at the Oxnard harbor. This location is always busy as it is in a prime spot! Service is great! There are also always people going around cleaning up. Love the fireplace and the views .. wow!!!“
