“The BEST poke in SD hands down! Their fish is super fresh and WOW love all the different flavor profiles - this isn't your standard run of the mill poke shop. The staff and owner were welcoming, attentive and kind. Tried 2 tuna and 1 salmon plate and added shrimp tempura. Can't wait to return!“

“Actual local-Hawaiian food can be pretty hard to find in SoCal, so this place is nothing short of a godsend. Laulau and all the various kinds of real poke! So happy to have found this place. The pork tonkatsu was a little salty for my taste, but no matter, I will be back to eat more of the other great things offered here.“

“First made the drive down to Blue Poke for a Yelp event, but came back a few times when I found myself in the area. There are a few other blue pokes that have since opened closer to central San Diego with one in North Park, but I think the quality varies from location to location- this location in National City being the best! First of all, the design of the store is so fun and I could tell it was clean and well maintained. I had a delicious poke bowl with my favorite spicy ahi (minced style). They have a good number of toppings to choose from along with great sauces. This is what I like to call "chipotle style" poke where you build your bowl, but everything was good! Easy parking to grab your bowl for take-out!“

“I'm so addicted to the Torched Salmon Aburi bowl here. I add avocado and it's really worth it. They recently moved 2 stalls over in the Market on 8th food hall and share space with Cafe Indonesia now. Everything I've tried has been good and I keep wanting to try new things on the menu from them and from the Cafe Indonesia menu too, but it's very hard to not just keep ordering my usual.“

“Food here is always great. The family meal will feed a family of 6 easily. One recommendation I would make to the establishment is to use the plastic boxes to go. The last 2 times I have ordered, the Kalua pork will go through the cardboard box by the time I get home.“

“Every time me and my kids visit San Diego, we always look for an authentic Filipino cuisine. Been so many places but this restaurant stands out the most! Love love love the “Dinuguan” and my boys loved their Crispy Pata. Staffs are awesome and went above and beyond accommodating us. People friendly, family oriented facility. This restaurant made it feels like Home! Highly recommended. Bringing my American friends here next time we visit!“
