“This place is so cute- a bit of a hole in the wall with outdoor seating. It's aligned with the ambiance of PB. The spam musubi is just okay tbh, but my favorite thing to get is the Jr. Boy, which is sooooo good 5/5. The sausage and egg with rice is a delicious small savory thing to eat after having the french toast. The coconut syrup served with the french toast is amazing. I wish I was closer because I want to try out all the other food!“
“The variety of food offered here made it very enjoyable for everyone in our family! My kids loved the panko shrimp and the poke bar where they were able to select various fresh fish and toppings. The adults had sushi (beautiful presentation), spam musubi, ahi crispy tacos, and fried squid legs (my favorite - perfect crisp on the outside and super tender inside)! It was an awesome meal just a few steps from Pacific Beach!“
“Service is exceptional, great vibes and the food is more than I was expecting, the tuna is very fresh, rice has good consistency to use your chopsticks as it should. Their lemonades with real real fruit like strawberries and mango are so refreshing ?. Definitely going back.“
“It’s definitely a park that this place has its own parking area so that makes it really convenient especially for Hillcrest. And they give you really good portion size the fish taste really good and they’re quick and service is very nice.“
“We come here at least once a week -- the guys making the bowls always have great energy! My favorite is the marinated tuna and the spicy tuna + adding spicy crab, plus the sweet sesame, citrus ponzu, and spicy mayo sauce. All of the sides are delicious!! Whenever we move away from SD this is the takeout we'll miss the most!Parking: No parking lot but can generally park fast and get your food“
“We called ahead of time to make certain they would still be open at 7:30. They said yes so we came to try it out.We had the grilled daing bangus . It is a grilled milkfish with a mango salsa. It was wonderful! We also tried some sushi. They are not a sushi restaurant.“
“Great place to eat. Made my own poke bowl. Fish was fresh and portion sizes were big. Though secluded in a small shopping area next to the seaport, you still get plenty of sunshine and sea breeze. Helps also that the staff is really friendly!“
“Darn it, they moved from just around the corner, to up by the college -- problem parking AND apparently they are only doing catering and not lunch plates. The food was awesome and authentic and made with much aloha. Oodles by the Nood Bar moved into the space vacated by Da Kine.“
“The pokebowl was truly delectable, brimming with flavors that delighted my taste buds. However, the onions, while flavorful, were cut in larger pieces than I would have preferred; a finer chop would have enhanced the overall texture. On a positive note, the iced tea accompanying the meal was truly refreshing, adding a delightful touch to the dining experience.“
“After eating at their North Park location and having them cater an event, I wish I could give them more stars. In both instances, the food was amazing, the portions were generous, and when there was a small mix up about the catering order they had someone personally come back out and deliver a bonus item, plus a couple gift cards. The business is run by genuinely kind people and their catering service is truly outstanding. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer, or to anyone who is just hungry and wants to support a family business.“
“Wow! Love this place! Excellent food and service! Our server, Julia, did an excellent job of taking our order, and the kitchen staff got out the door very quickly! Everything was hot, fresh, and flavorful! We will surely be back bruddah! Yes, it was that good. :)“
“Blue Poke is an incredible option for poke bowls! So many toppings to choose from and super quick and delicious! The staff is super helpful and will guide you through, thoroughly explaining it all. Super fresh fish, great topping options and delicious sauce! You can’t go wrong “
“Large portion plates, good for sharing with decent prices and great Hawaiian style dishes. Not alot of seats inside and wait times vary as they take a lot of take our orders as well. We have learned from that past that you can order ahead to avoid long wait times.“
“I had takeout today, tuna melt and sweet potato fries calamari it was fabulous! Very tasty! I got a free blueberry drink while I waited! Amazing place last time Javier took care if my friend and I and he was great too! I highly recommend this place! I also get it on door dash! I love it all the time. Fresh and hot thank “
“Such a friendly and kind owner—he made my day with his kindness!! He prepared 12 meals for my coworkers and myself so efficiently, making all of them so well while working by himself. The poke is delicious and he experiments with new tasty recipes and flavors all the time! Highly recommend for a filling and healthy lunch.“
“Solid breakfast spot in OB. They have a decent size outdoor patio that is dog friendly! I tried the Kailua Pork Benedict and a specialty coffee. The Benedict looked great but was definitively missing some seasoning. My specialty Hawaiian coffee (can't remember the name of the one I ordered) was delicious and a great pick my up for the morning! Staff was friendly but not the most attentive.“
“From the first bite, I knew Pokewan was something special. It's hands-down some of the best Poke I've ever had. The fish is incredibly fresh, a testament to their commitment to quality. The portions are generous, ensuring you get great value along with great taste. I was particularly impressed with the kale base - it's awesome and adds a healthy, flavorful twist to the meal. Another highlight is their really nice service. The staff are welcoming and attentive, adding to the overall wonderful experience. It's a joy to have such a fantastic spot right in our neighborhood. Highly recommend to anyone craving a fresh, flavorful, and satisfying meal with excellent service!“
“The food is very good, sometimes I drive 30 minutes one way just to eat their food, the only issue I have is that sometimes they serve you enough and other times too low amount everything depends on the person. But the food is very good. I order the poke and any of the prepared protein scoops available all are good.Parking: There is always space to park“
“This is definitely one of my favorite Poke places in San Diego! I could literally eat Poke and/or Sushi every day, and this is one of my go-to spots. Their fish is cold and fresh and the bowls are plentiful. They don't charge extra for things that should be included (like some places). The staff is helpful and professional and the atmosphere is chill. This is a great place to start if you're new to Poke and don't want to feel confused when deciding what to add to your bowl. I highly recommend!“
“THE PORTIONS IS AMAZING!!Ive tried alot of Poke places in SD and so far this is my favorite. I like spicy food. And no place has delivered on the spice level. But the dragons breath spice level hit the mark perfectly. Fish was so fresh! Thank you!“
“I've only had good luck here, I've only had good food here, I always order the volcano chicken teriyaki bowl They put freshly diced pineapple and freshly diced mango over the chicken teriyaki, Great sauce, that is totally delicious..... I'm a "total foodie" and I'm extremely intuitive, in-tune and I could tell you that this food here It's always been good and clean and fresh and fast, They also have really wonderful tea selection up on the counter (not too sugarized tea)If I ever experience a negative issue with this restaurant I will come back and change my review but as of right now I think it's one of the best little restaurants here at Liberty Station Point Loma.“
“I've heard about this place many times before but never had the chance to make it here, until today and I'M GLAD!Food was SPOT ON, to a Fiesta Plate back home. I had the mixed plate (Red Rice, Short Ribs, Chicken Kelaguen and Kim Chee Daigo) and IT WAS DELICIOUS! Also ordered Empanada and it was ALSO DELISH! I am not a fan of Pika but the Kelaguen and Empanada is always an exception to this, especially when it's the PERFECT amount of spicy.Service was GREAT! The Ladies at the counter were friendly and efficient with service. Ambiance was great. Got there with only a few people already inside but to turn around after ordering and have a line shortly after. hehe! NOTE: 4 Stars given to not see a few island staples on the menu. Potato Salad, King Car Iced Tea or a Diet Soda. Also, not have my first choice of meat available today, Spare Ribs. Lastly, this place was a little confusion to find. Had to circle back around after making a few wrong turns. Not a huge disappointment though, as the food TOTALLY made up for it :)Thank you Chamorro Grill for keeping things simple and real ~ keep things tasting like Island Style! Si Yu'us Ma'ase!“
“The rolls were excellent, the entire restaurant spotless, prices are terrific, and service impeccable. I'm so glad I stopped in today and will be back again the next time my job brings me to this part of SD County!Parking: I was here on a rainy Sunday at 6:00 p.m. and there was plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Fine for kids!“
“Hands down the best poke in SD. Why would you go anywhere else? I wouldn’t. It’s fresh, it’s delicious, and they give you a tasty treat for the end of your meal. Their non-poke items after amazing, too! I’ve been going here for years and don’t ever plan on stopping.“
