“If you hadn't come by to try their Japanese skews, then you must give it a try. No rsvp unless you have more than 5 people. I suggest to come here around 6pm because after 630 to 7, you may have to wait about an hr for a table. The place is quite small enough just like the ones in Japan. I ordered 85% of skew food on the menu. I almost tried it all. They grilled them with good timing, so the skews were too cooked and chewy. The ones that got my attention were pork belly, beef short rib, and the whole squid. These 3 you must try. The whole squid was perfectly grilled with just enough sauce to make it juciy. I have to say this place did a very good job on it compared to other places. I also ordered chicken breasts and thighs. They were nicely cooked. I suggest eating it with some light sauce. Very nice services. I would come back if I were in the hood. Keep up the good work!“

“The server (owner?) was very sweet and gave us excellent service, which is nice because the last few times we went out to different ramen places my bf and I have been ignored. I got the creamy veggie ramen and my bf got the jigoku ramen. My broth was really rich and the noodles were delicious. The extremely spicy ramen was definitely tolerable and I don't typically do well with spicy! We were really happy with our food and will be back again :)“

“Good flavors, had problems with the ordering software when we went, so they had issues serving people timely. The piquillo chile cocktail was good but would be better without the illuminated coaster which was gimmicky and also shined a red light at you whenever you pick up your drink to take a sip.We enjoyed the veggie paella!Vegetarian options: Veggie paella and a few appetizers that can be modified“

“Expected dishes to be more expensive.Rice balls and fusion pizza were very crispy, rice balls had strong butter flavor, if you like that this is very good, 2 for $11.Cold udon was chewy, $20.Pizza was thin and crispy, strong ham taste with noticeable crab flavor. Not sure if that flavor combo works for me.Yellowtail carpaccio wasn't cold enough, fish was nice enough, but best part was the slightly sour sauce. Not worth its price imo.Daikin salad $11 refreshing, although a bit too salty.“

“We looove this place so much for its delicious food, cozy atmosphere and great service. We ordered a catering from this restaurant for our son’s first birthday party and it was fantastic. Everyone liked how the food was packed and how it tasted. Everything has been delivered on time which is super important. Highly recommend this place for those who love Spanish food and a home-like environment.“

“Camilla was our knowledgeable server with several recommendations. The carne paella was flavorful. Four of us also shared the olives, eggplant, cauliflower, jamon croquettes, calamari and papas bravas. Pleasant indoor or outdoor seating…the dirty martini and passion fruit margarita drinks were nice too.“

“Check in for $2 off!! Monday night the place only had two other tables filled. Many people came in for to-go orders. Order first then choose a table. Ordering was easy and the service was kind. Wagyu Beef Sukiyaki: Really enjoyed the flavor and tenderness of the meat. Tonkatsu Curry: Solid comfort meal Unadon: The eel was very flavorful and had shreds of egg. For how inexpensive it was I don't mind bones but I wouldn't get it if I was going on a date or your date will be watching you pick out the tiny little bones from the eel/your mouth.“

““I had an amazing experience the other day. You’ve got to try the Octopus Carpaccio if you're into seafood—it’s incredibly tender and packed with flavor. And don’t skip the Bread & “Butter”; it’s a game-changer with its whipped bone marrow spread over warm, crusty sourdough. Absolutely delicious!I also tried the Cup of Gold cocktail while I was there. It’s a fantastic mix of bourbon infused with golden raisins, Madeira, honey, and just a hint of celery bitters, creating a unique, smooth flavor that’s both sweet and subtly earthy.Sitting on their rooftop, enjoying these incredible dishes and drinks, really made my day. The vibe up there is just so cool and laid-back—it's the perfect place to unwind and soak in the views over Palo Alto. Whether you’re looking for great food, tasty drinks, or just a chill spot to hang out, President’s Terrace is definitely worth a visit.”“

“Best part was the tequila shot and beer -- no complaints on the bar. Food was good, nothing special. Onions: if you are allergic, beware -- they made my tacos without onion but the salsa still had onion (not just the pico but the roasted salsa too which because it had been cooked hard had the allergy part cooked out but I was still cautious a new item for me)“

“So I think this is definitely a hidden gem among ramen spots in the area. They give HUGE portions, with really excellent flavoring. If it is your first time, be sure to go with the Dohatsusen, with your selection of broth. The spicy miso is legit, and they will top it off with the spicy minced pork that makes this place so unique. Oyako don is great as well, and they have a menu catered to kids (Yup, they will eat their vegetables for a chance at getting something from the gatcha machine!) If the indoor seating is too old school for you, then the outdoor seating is a nice option. Just know there might be winds.“

“One of the best restaurant experiences we've ever had. It was a milestone birthday brunch with 18 old friends in their lovely private room. The courses keep coming, each on fabulous. Service was impeccable, many special favors. The only glitch is that we had two toddlers, and there was literally nothing they would eat (no French fries, rice, plain bread, plain chicken, etc). We should have thought ahead about this.“

“Definitely a hole in the wall. Place made me double think of ordering there after I opened the door because it smells kinda old. The cashier cracked a small joke after taking my order. Food was produced very quickly and it tasted great. Salsa was refreshing and not overwhelmingly spicy. Best bang for your buck. Will be visiting again!“

“Went to Joya yesterday with my husband to have late valentines dinner. The food was amazing and it came out at timely manner. We start with the Kobe sliders and ajillo . The Kobe sliders were full of flavor and the ajillo sauce is amazing . After we enjoyed the hanger stake pinxos, yuccas, stuffed jalapeños, and brossel sprouts . My husband love the picos the meat was perfectly seasoned and pared so well with the sauce on top of bread. The jalapeños were stuffed with yucca and cheese and were really good but definitely spicy. We normally get the yucca and brossel sprouts and they never disappoint. Our drinks were perfectly made but my favorite continues to be the Diablo . But enjoyed three different drinks that were amazing. Our server Jorge was attentive and made sure to check on us continuously . The ambiance is delightful. I can honestly say the thanks to the great service, amazing food, and overall delightful experience we will continue to come back .“

“Decent place for a drink and they're one of the only bars open late in the area. I'd give 3* but I had a wonderful experience my visit a few months ago so adding 1 star for that!Came back again this weekend and their cocktail menu seemed to have changed, which i didn't mind but they also were out of most things. A lot of items we tried to order off the menu initially were out. While it was pretty late into the evening, it was also a Saturday night so I thought was strange that they would be out of a lot of things. We ended up having 1 drink each and then went to Lazy Dog instead to continue the night.I hope they get better with their inventory in the future!“
