“So amazing!! Delicious food, fantastic service, and a beautiful interior. With lovely employees who always have smiles on their faces, I felt so welcome. I couldn't ask for a better BBQ spot. Experiencing another culture's cuisine was eye-opening. Thank you!“
“This was a right place at the right time situation. We were in the mall in Northridge and we did not want the usual fare so we tried Lillian's Filipino food. It was a good choice. Nice variety. Everything tasted great. Service was good. They answered all my questions. Lumpia was wonderful and the pansit was tasty. The place is brightly lit and very clean. It was perfect for the moment. Parking is free in the malls lots.“
“I was in the area and stop by and try a few of their ube desserts and honestly everything was pretty good. I do feel it's little pricey but delicious. The chocolate danish was also very good. I highly recommend this place just wish I lived closer. Definitely give it a try if you are in the area.“
“Cebuchon sa Barrio Filipino offers an exceptional dining experience with its array of authentic Filipino dishes. The standout, without a doubt, is their Cebuchon, a perfectly roasted pig that is both succulent and flavorful, capturing the essence of traditional Filipino cooking. The skin is crispy, and the meat is tender, making each bite a delightful experience. The ambiance of the restaurant complements the food, providing a cozy and culturally rich environment. Service is attentive, adding to an overall enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to savor genuine Filipino cuisine at its finest.“
“Excellent, yum, great hopia and other filipino treats and favorites. It is in a simple shop along Granada Hills old main commercial road. This is one of my favorite filipino places. The family owned business has friendly service. They also ship products you can order on the website.“
“Some of the best pastries I've had. Definitely one of the best ensaymadas I've ever had. They run a bit small but they're honestly the perfect size. They are nice and soft and they offer a variety of flavors. Personally the classic and ube are my favorite. They are a small mom and pop shop. They are extremely friendly and kind. Make sure to visit them and try their pastries.“
“I come here and eat once in a while when I'm in the area. This morning I had Topsilog in the food was good service was good in the waitress was friendly and I ordered Goto with tokwat baboy. So if you've not eaten here give it a try you would like it they've been in business for a long time now I wish they would open one in Santa clarita.“
“I love home-y feeling restaurants and this specific place reminds me of a place I'd go to as a kid with my parents. The place itself is small but just the right space for the home-y vibes. The server was super sweet and patient with taking and serving my order.I ordered the pork sisig, two asado siopaos, two orders of rice, and sago't gulaman for a drink. The siopaos came first and they were great! Meaty and not too much bread. The sisig was served on a sizzling stone plate! Love that! (The only way to serve it, in my opinion) The sago't gulaman was also good.I loved this place a lot! Will most definitely be coming back and recommending Mami King to others! ?“
“Food’s great! I simply wish though that they had more veggies on their menu and their melon/canteloupe drinks with no added sugar. But I can’t complain as they cater to ur every whim/special requests like for extras or add- ons. Customers leave happy and satisfied that’s why they keep coming back for more. And that includes yours truLy ? Special mention: beef tapa and escaveche ??Dietary restrictions: Not much of a dessert person but if i’d get to hand pick, it’ll be the classic halo- halo and their red bean hopiaParking: Wide parking area and best thing, it’s all for freeWheelchair accessibility: Lots of handicap parking slots“
“Didn't disappoint. Good food.Update as of Feb 17, 2024.All I ever ordered is the RibEye bowl, and up to this point, it has never disappointed. What I received today was NOT Ribeye. It was some other subpar meat. Looks like it was a mixture bits of RibEye and some other meat thinking no one would notice. This tactic of trying to cheat me is very disappointing.“
“Amazing customer service from Cheryl and Joy. They answered all questions with great knowledge and very polite and through. The food were very fresh and really delicious. The lechon was still steaming when we were chopping it. The lechon was so crunchy and tasty. Delivered on time. Definitely worth your money. I will order from this place again.“
“Wonderful Owners! Give them a try!I'm a foodie and I like trying all types of food and restaurants, especially Filipino food. I sometimes get turned away from going because feel like I will be out of place. I was craving something sweet and started searching Yelp in Panorama City for a spot to grab Turon to try for my first time. I landed on Sally's, so I stopped in after seeing the good reviews. It seemed like a small family run place that does mostly take out orders from small to large. They were getting ready to close but I still I asked about their Turon. They were sold out for the day and kindly advised it usually best to order ahead because they do sell out and it's best to get them fresh. I believe it was the owners, a man and woman working who also asked me how I heard about them and started explaining all about the food choices, providing recommendations, showing pictures and how to order for next time. The best part was they did have 1extra Turon and gave it to me free and refused to charge me. I really wanted to pay but they said it was a sample so I knew what they tasted like for the next time. Honestly, this made my day!!! The owners made me feel so comfortable and welcomed as they could tell it was my first time visiting and I was out of place. It made me feel like I was at my Filipino friends house who is always making delicious food to try. I'll definitely be back to grab more Turon and try all their food. I love supporting small business that appreciate their customers like I saw today. Thank you!!!!!“
“My mom took me here a week ago. I came back a few days after. I absolutely love this hole in a wall. They are SUPER ADORABLE and you get a lot of food for the price. The bangus is amazingly crispy! The meals come with rice, a slice of tomato, a slice of cucumber, and the ulam. The vinegar is not overwhelmingly acidic, it goes very well with everything. I wish I lived and worked closer. This would definitely be my go to place.“
“I ordered 100 pieces of lumpia Shanghai for pickup on a Wednesday around 8:30 am. I arrived a few minutes late but all of the metered parking on the street right out front was available and I was able to park right in front of the entrance. There was also very little traffic on the road. The inside is small. There is no seating, but plenty of food options to choose from. Their desserts are placed on tables in the middle of the small floor and they also sell cold drinks and snacks on the floor as well. When you walk in, the hot food is visible to the right, and it smelled absolutely delicious. I saw my order ready to go on the back counter behind the register and waited just a moment before someone came out to greet me. The lumpia were $45 if paying with cash and ~$50 if paying with card. I tried one right as I got into my car. They were fresh and slightly crisp. The flavor was pretty good, not the best. I give them a 3/5 for flavor but it could have been more heavily seasoned. However the price is very good. I took this dish to my company potluck and many people enjoyed it even when it was colder and not as crispy. It was served with sweet and sour sauce that complimented the lumpia but wasn't necessary. All of the lumpia were gone by the end of the event and votes for best dishes brought included mine as one of the top! Great option for catering. I would like to try their other items another time. It seems they have been around for a very long time and I'm sure it's not just for their lumpia!“
“The hubby loves the Kare Kare here at Barrio Fiesta! The service is great, the restaurant is a little small so you should definitely make reservations for large parties or you'll be waiting a hot minute. The food is great however very limited items for vegetarians. The ambiance is nice and the noise levels are average just because the restaurant is small. The Daing na Bangus is huge enough for 3-4 people. Don't forget to save room for dessert! We'll be back I'm sure!“
“I was there earlier this morning. Sweet couple helped me out with choosing my to go food. 1st timer but they made me feel at home with ease. Good choices of food like, liver steak, kare-kare, beef steak, longganisa, etcetera. They even offered me free soup. I couldn't wait to get home and taste it. It's not a disappointment at all. Yummy to the max.... I'll come back again“
“Have been here several times, including when they were at a different location in the valley. Your usual Filipino food fare where you order from ready made food and pay either by size or getting a combo. They have especially good breakfast. They have a few areas to sit and a water dispenser. The parking is a little tight in front. My favorite thing here actually is the ube halaya, delicious.“
“The turon is always excellent. Parking is super hard. Customer service is good. Charm is very friendly and kind. Only chicken empanada is available to which I'm allergic to. I hope there will be an option to preorder their beef empanadas in the future. Quality of turon is always excellent! The best in LA!“
“The interior of the place is small and cozy.I enjoyed eating in, but it felt stuffy ngl and hot.The price per is about $2 each.A plate with 5 skewers and rice was about 12.50Worth it to me because I love the quick food. The parking is small but just park by the plaza on the other side where ross and the gym is. If you don't mind walking, then its not hard finding parking at all..They have chicken feet here and great sauces..They can make party plates and custom orders. For sweets They offer a variety..Lobster, pork, chicken, chicken feet, rice, is served here. For drinks they have a quick fridge where you can take from and water.Vegetarian options: RiceParking: Park across the plaza and walk itWheelchair accessibility: I didn't see a ramp“
“Today 10:45 am, I drop by to they’re branch 9516 sepulveda blvd, north hills 91343. I ordered 2 bibingka, 1 pancit malabon, 1 halo halo and a big crispy pata(one size) only, which is quite expensive, but it’s ok I can afford it. After 45 minutes all my orders were ready. I’m excited about the crispy pata but to my surprise it looks like it’s overcooked because it’s a little bit burned. I can tell because I’m a cook and I know if it’s overcooked or not and the result? It taste bitter because it’s burned from the deep fryer. As for me no problem but they insist that that’s the way they cook. OMG I was astonishedbecause how could that be their standard, it has a bitter taste. I believe no human being would like that kind of taste. Quite upsetting. I just told them if they keep on doing that they will lose valuable customers like me. So I’m rating them 1 star for their attitude. Thank you. Hope this will be published…….“
“Surprised actually I've never reviewed PhilHouse given I've ordered food from here many times but I suppose I kept lumping it together with Island Pacific since it is located inside the supermarket. PhilHouse is located to the right as soon as you walk in and you can see the available food through the glass. It's called Turo Turo style ordering where you point to what you want and the employee will ask what size and then pack it up for you and you pay with the cashier at the end. It's basically Panda Express for a comp. My favorites are the ukoy, eggplant torta, lumpia Shanghai, kare kare and pork sisig. It can get a bit pricey if you order a lot and especially get large sizes but the quantity is def worth it. Great for any fan of Filipino food.“
“Great experiment as I went on a Friday night with my fiance as we were invited by a friend. The place is very friendly and the food was great. The manager Dan was very welcoming and was very attentive. Definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for some really good filipino food and some entertainment.Parking: Very big parking lot, so there's plenty of space.“
“The food is amazing. I've been living in the area for about 20 years, and the first time going will not disappoint. The only issue was not being able to fit every dish inside my gut. Very home cooking type food. They take cash and another online payment.Parking: It just depends on the time of day.“
“Most definitely great food and beautiful set up on the turo-turo (point-point) window as long as you’re not expecting a cheerful service from the servers. No complaints about the food and atmosphere but maybe they can do better on giving the joyful and enthusiastic welcome and interactions to customers and supporters. Get a little giddy and lively gurlfwends and give us that we’re glad you’re here type of feeling ?Parking: Ample parking shared by the nearby stores“
“Excellent, delicious lechon (roasted and Kawali), excellent pastries. Seriously, the lechon is amazingly good: if you are a fan of Chinese style roast pork, this is superior. Less salt and just as tasty. Great portions on plates with fresh veggies. The service is always friendly and helpful.Parking: Parking directly in front of the grill can be tough but there is plenty if you're willing to park in the main lotWheelchair accessibility: Easy access from the parking lot“
“Highy recommended! Authentic Filipino Restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere/music in the background and pleasant customer service..Stopped by for a quick lunch and definitely satisfied with our meal.. Lumpia is a must try?Kid-friendliness: My daughter was vibing with the music and loved the lumpia“
“I saw this spot when I was coming out of the Kaiser hospital and this is a solid Filipino restaurant.I ordered the tocilog, side of sisig and Thai tea along with coconut juice. The tocilog with garlic rice was delicious and the sisig is one of the best versions of sisig I’ve had. Overall it’s a great spot to introduce Filipino food to your non Filipino friends.I’d definitely come back here again and just be aware, during peak times, parking can be very limited.“
“Good tasty filipino food! Tastes like home cooked! Their garlic peanuts are bomb! Also, it may not be a big deal for others but I like how this place have PAPER- containers for their ala carte dishes/food. I dont like eating hot food with melted styrofoam. This is also another reason why Lilian’s is my go-to“
“I was going somewhere else but the wait was too long and I am glad it was, because that's how I found this place. Way cheaper than other Cajun around here. Tastier, great service, beautiful decoration, TV and great music. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.“
