“This is a tiny shop hidden in the corner of a strip mall. They sell snacks and appetizers. We just came for the fried samosas. They did not disappoint!! Made to order, they were perfectly crispy and light. The 10 piece order came with two sauces. I really like the green sauce, it had a nice kick that complements the samosa. The reddish brown sauce is a little on the sweet side. Service was efficient and the guy at the front was nice, he wasn't bothered when we ordered more food to go.“

“The food and service at the new location are just as wonderful as the original location. I look forward to more of my favorite dishes coming over. I can’t remember how it came to be that Dan and Si, his brother, learned of this, but they literally made me food to eat for each stage of my healing. “Everything here was chef’s kiss! My visit was in person and I ordered the Beets Me Burger! The Beets Me burger was so delicious and I loved the fact that it was made from mushrooms and beets. The flavor was amazing and the brioche bun was nicely toasted. I ordered the Biscuit Bomb and through UberEats and it is The Bomb! The biscuit was nice and soft and all of the flavors paired well together. The Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup did not disappoint! I will definitely be back for another visit whenever I’m in this area!“

“I am never disappointed when I order food from Appu's Cafe. I have tried almost everything on the menu and found it to be delicious, a good value for the price, and always ready on-time when I order online. The staff is kind and pleasant and very accomodating (sometimes I need to ask for the spice level to go down a few levels!). Excellent value all the way around!“

“Sugar Taco just opened up a location in Long Beach and I must say I definitely will be back! Decent portions, good quality, tasty, knowledgeable and friendly staff, eco conscious and nice environment. I give them 4 stars. I'd give the 5 stars but it is a bit pricey in my opinion. $50 for 2 large drinks, 1 burrito, a half order of nachos and a donut.“

“First time here,ordered Chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. The chicken itself was good,the sauce was too sweet for my liking. Garlic naan was really good.I will not fault the restaurant for the sauce,this is the way they make it,and it’s not bad by any means,just too sweet for my tastes.“

“I got the level 7 K#1 soup, which wasn't too spicy. For a spicy meal I would ask for a higher number. I also got a Thai tea that was very refreshing and not too sweet, and a vietnamese coffee with coconut milk that was very rich in coffee flavor and sweet. My father ordered the level 7 ramen stir fried and said it was very good, not very spicy. We shared a level 7 and a level 10 BBQ wing. The 7 was barely spicy but very good, 10 had an oil on it that coats your mouth and was quite spicy, but the heat went away within 15mins. All the food was delicious!“

“Simply the best vegan, Jack fruit tamales I've ever had out of all of The vegan restaurants in Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Yes, you can come to Long Beach and find one of the best little vegan places ever. I give this place 5 stars because I've tried all the rest that have tried to do to Molly's like this and then the only ones that have got it right.You've got to support young authentic, beautiful business people and this is an authentic place.Please come and enjoy you'll be impressed.“

“Unfortunately, we did not go there during Happy Hour. The food was still worth the price we paid for it. The cocktail I selected, the smoked Pink Dragon, was well prepared and delicious. The smoke was a nice visual. The Poke Nachos were fresh and flavorful. I did not regret my choice. I will definitely come back specially to try the Happy Hour.“

I’ve had vegan/vegetarian Vietnamese food from Vietnam, New York City, San Francisco, and etc. But, Hoa Sen is my favorite because the vegan broth is so delicious and it’s hard to find an authentic vietnamese food that is vegan.“

“Good food and great service. It's a no frills place but nicely renovated. I came back for their all you can eat hot pot (lau) $15.99. Fresh veggies. Flavorful broth. We couldn't finish it all. The crispy paper thing was good plain or we would dunk it into the soup. One soup broth was spicy while the other was lighter and sweeter. Good portions. The prices here are still pretty good as compared to other vegan places. The bathroom could use an upgrade but it wasn't deplorable. Would return.“
