“I'm glad they're here in downtown Novato. When you enter My Thai (II), you are warmly greeted at the door and you get a lot of nice touches of authentic Thai decor. It is tastefully appointed and a great place to meet friends, bring family or even date night.Their staff is friendly and service is surprisingly fast (more on this later).Their selections are very tasty. We ordered Yellow curry, BBQ duck (yum!) as well as Pad Thai which are a favorite of my kids. The food is DELICIOUS with authentic flavors. Note that it is not as spicy as "true" thai cuisine but then again this is Marin County where most have no idea of what true thai spice is all about. Also I have kids and there's no way that they could handle that. However I will go back on date night and explore that option. When we ordered our food came out really fast. The place has several tables and 2 front of the house staff. I'm sure it might be different is it was packed on a Friday/Saturday night but we lucked out that day.My family and I were so impressed with the experience we went for it and ordered 2 desserts. Fried Bananas and Mango sticky rice. Both were were AMAZING!Although the competing Thai restaurant is nice, this place is a much nicer overall experience. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking it out!“

“Great place - owned by the same family who operated the wonderful Thailand restaurant locations in Mill Valley and Novato, both since closed. The only place I’ve seen to have their house-made spicy sweet sauce that accompanies the barbecue plates. Worth nothing - Do not skip their Thai iced tea, it’s the real deal.“

“Still on top! I absolutely adore this place. Every time I place an order I feel like I matter to them. It's the little things like remembering my favorite little side of spicy chilies and fish sauce or waiting for me a little after hours when I'm running late from my class that really set this place on top. The food is excellent (and they know how to make it actually spicy which already earns them gold stars from me) but it's their kindness in remembering the details even on Togo orders that really bring me back each time. The interior is beautiful inside and a perfect stop for a lunch or dinner date. Go go go!!!!“

“Grew up in San Rafael and have been eating here for years. Sandy and Abby run a customer-centric family business with pops in the back chef’n it up.Nice on a sunny day outside. All curries are bomb, squash and veggies cooked thoroughly. Sauce is thick. Mango sticky rice is always on point. Thai iced tea hits even in summer. Don’t rush them, it’s worth the wait.“

“If you want Authentic Thai food, this is the place to go. It's a hole in the wall, and the downside is that they only take cash. Their silver noodle salad is yummy and their eggplant tofu is always delicious! Curries are good too, try it out!“
“Everything we had was great! Shrimp spring rolls were fresh and flavorful, I liked how the shrimp were actually slightly seasoned and the sauce was definitely homemade, tasted great on its own with some white rice. Their yellow curry and pad Thai were great as well. Personally I feel as though the food scene in the bay had gone downhill in the past few years and it's been a long time since any Thai restaurant in the Bay Area blew me away, but this is definitely one of the better options in the area.“

“Just got back from lunch with a BFF. She had chicken pumpkin curry. I had the peanut noodles with chicken and veggies. Add a Thai ice tea for me. A ginger beer for her. We LOVED everything about this little place. Food was perfect. Ambiance delightful. Service impecable. Coming back in two weeks when my sister and brother are in town. They'll love it too!“

“We've eaten at this My Thai location several times now and it's truly exceptional! The sauces and flavors are delicious, all the ingredients are so fresh, and the wine list options (including sake) are excellent. The dining areas are lovely, warm and comfortable inside, and everyone working here has been kind and thoughtful, with the best service!“

“I ordered all my food from the appetizer menu, and I enjoyed each of three items. First, one of my favorites, Tod Mun, was delicious, and hot, and came with the perfect cucumber salad/sauce. I really loved them. I also enjoyed the Fried Tofu very much, and liked the Chicken Egg Rolls... though they did not taste particularly "Thai". Finally, the best of all...dessert. They have Mango and Sticky Rice... heavenly! I had to order a second portion, just to take home. That portion accompanies this missive! This is more like a Thai "deli". The lightning is bright, the tables and chairs are utilitarian, the service is brisk, yet friendly, and there is a broad band of choices. Nothing fancy, just good food. Fast, and fair prices.“

“We love meals here, and order from them often. They have awesome pumpkin curry, my favorite dish! Anything I've had is good: pot stickers, pad thai, drunken noodles, yellow curry (we get it spicy level 3-4), Thai Tea. Very quick service as well whether dining in, picking up or delivery. We have done all and had good experiences.Parking: On a side of a strip mall, plenty of parking in front of and to the right of establishment.“
