My friend and I sell steak, seafood and chicken off a truck across southern California, Nevada and Arizona. Along the way we hit every dive bar, greasy spoon and habadashery along the way. This morning I dipped into Parlor doughnuts for coffee and a doughnut.
Parking is curbside so it is going to a bit hit and miss but you won't have to hike too far to park. The vibe inside is laid back and business is brisk, the staff were wonderful and clearly enjoy working here.
All seating is outside with today was a bummer because it rained all night so the patio furniture was wet but I didn't mind.
How cool is this? Not only are they dog friendly they have a dog menu! The coffee was great and the doughnut was cream filled, gooey, and flakes and decadent. It was truly a treat. Doughnuts and coffee ran me a little over $10 and that included a $2.50 tip. What a treat!“

“Fantastic donut shop! I remember coming here when I was younger and it’s still just as amazing now. The donuts are warm and delicious, the iced coffee is homemade AND they take debit/credit cards now (beware there is a $10 minimum though.) I’ll be back again soon!“

“The customer service is awesome. Apparently, the air conditioner was not working or it's just too hot today. I ordered apple fritters and a sausage,bacon, and ham croissant. The fritters looked so fresh in the window. I will definitely be back tomorrow for more. The croissant sandwich was delicious. This place is a true gem!“

“Sam’s donuts have the best Apple fritters and cinnamon rolls around this area!! We tried others in Oceanside and nothing compares!! We’ve been coming here since 2010. We had moved to Texas back in 2018 and couldn’t find Apple fritters like Sam’s Donuts!! We were very disappointed! “Google searched for a donut shop that was close to the car wash that I frequent prior to going to work on a Saturday morning so I can bring a dozen donuts to share with my coworkers. Mr. Donuts is a donut that I would usually go to that sell just regular donuts (glazed, chocolate, maple, etc...) and not these newer shops that make these "fancy" concoctions like, donuts mixed with some type of breakfast or some other mixed flavored type of donut. So, I just got a mix of maple bars, glazed twists, old-fashioned glazed, sugar, etc...and everything tasted great and fresh. My coworkers and I enjoyed the donuts from here and even one of them said that they've had donuts from Mr. Donuts and her and her family always get donuts from there. So, I do recommend this donut shop. The gentleman, who possibly could've been the owner/donut maker, that helped was very nice and courteous. I'll get his name the next time I go there. I did notice that they sell breakfast types of sandwiches and saw a couple of people walking out with them so I will have to try one next time as well. A great local donut shop that you should go to and try.“

“My normal donut shop was closed and I just had to have an apple fritter...I'm sure you understand. So this place came up as close by and I headed there immediately. The staff was super friendly and the apple fritter was great! When...I got back to my car and noticed a free donut hole in the bag! That is the best way to start your day!“

“I always come here in the mornings for my bagel and a cup of coffee.
Even though is busy in the mornings, they are quick and you are in and out in less than 5 minutes after taking your order.
The lady who’s always there looks exhausted but she’s on top of everything and makes sure you are happy with your order.
I forgot to mention that I couldn’t find parking so I had to park by the restaurant that sold chicken.“
