Terrible service at the food counter in the back. The ladies working the kitchen ignored us for a while, and were short with their answers when asked about freshness of the food and what was available from the menu. They pretty much convinced me to spend my money somewhere else. Also, 1/2 the food on display looked dried out and nasty. I wasn't down for a stomach ache. The staff up front was friendly though. I'll still go there for groceries, probably not for food from the back.
Clean, open space grocery store to find your needs. I love shopping for their vegetables. I notice their okras (on several accounts) have been hard but other than that, this is my go-to. As an islander, I love that I can find fresh green beans, bok choy, Napa cabbage, etc. Their carniceria in the back carries a lot of variety from meat to seafood. Christian did an exceptional job assisting me, quickly and efficiently. I did not have to wait long to be assisted and it was a breeze....read full review
