“Pretty awesome and amazing entrance setup in their cafe when it comes to those delectable patisserie section. We got in a bit before our reservation time and were seated ( get a reservation before hopping in there) right away. Jessica was our host and walked us through the options and answered our questions around the popular options, patisserie section etc and we placed our order. We got the Tartufo Pizza ( it looks big but is good for 2-3 hungry folks) along with the Louie salad ( pretty amazing) and a couple of coffees. The pizza was delicious and is a very unique concept with a floating egg yolk spread carefully on the top. The salad was great as well and added as just the perfect side to the pizza.Once done with our main course, we were ready for the desert and ordered a Chocolate and Hazelnut Beignet along with an Almond, Psitachio, Cherry cake ( you would want to witness its presentation for a while before you devour it ).All in all a great experience though when paying the bill I was rushed a bit into signing the EMV chip reader machine and the tips there start from 25% at a default ( so take your time and pay unless you intend to pay 25% in tips) on top of which there is also a surcharge fees of 5% that is already charged to the bill.PS: Shoutout to Bailey as well who was helping us on our table alongside Jessica as well and catered to our requests so very well.Cheers!!!“
“We had a lovely time eating dinner here after a long hungry day. And their great service put a stop to our hunger in no time at all! Two minutes after ordering we had our delicious, fresh, and warm meals! My two picky kids (9 and 11) loved the food and asked for it in school! That only happens with pasta and pizza :) And the kind chef and owner Hassan came over to our table multiple times to check on us. He was very proud of his business and had a right to be! We enjoyed the food tremendously! Definitely recommend!!!!!!!!!“
“Truly can’t wait to come back here. As a gluten free person, I love how many options their menu has to offer that are specifically marked GF. Food was AMAZING. We ate there for lunch and I honestly wanted to go back for dinner on the same day lol. We will definitely be returning and I would recommend this restaurant to anybody who enjoys Thai food! The Green Chili and Pad Thai were incredibly flavorful. Service was also super friendly!Dietary restrictions: SO MANY options for gluten free people! :D“
“I have been coming here for many years and recently I had the chance to work with Byron. He is SO great. Had a smile on his face and he was so eager to help. Can't wait to see him again along wit those amazing pastries that he recommended!“
“Chocolate Oreo Ice Cream! Let me tell you it definitely hit the spot, one of the best ice creams I've tried I can see why it's one of their top flavors. I got the single scoop and it's a good amount of serving but I should have gotten a double scoop for sure! If you love chocolate ice cream and Oreos, then this is the perfect flavor for you. Although, there is a hint of coconut in the aftertaste in case you're not too huge on coconut. But the actual flavor overpowers it. We went late at night but the service was still good! You have to be careful not to miss the window it's right next to a small coffee shop. There's a few chairs around to sit after or you can walk around and see the other shops around. Very small space but great ice cream! I will definitely need to go back and try other flavors!“
“The tres leches cake was amazing but I feel the customer service is lacking. When I ordered they asked me if I wanted fruit. Based on the picture I saw online for tres leches, I imagined it would come on top. So I said yes. At the end of the call the woman I spoke to told me that since it's tres leches, it shouldn't be out of the fridge more than an hour. Ok, that's fine. When I get there to pick up there are no fruits on top. They're in the filling. And now they tell me that because of the filling, it shouldn't be out for more than 30 mins max. I feel like I wasn't explained the options. I know I asked for balloon decoration but they should've said something about how having that means no fruit on top? Anyway, great tasting cake. Just wish someone was explaining things better , especially considering it is hot and things go bad faster.“
“5/5 Written from a former bakery owner. My family owned a bakery in Detroit for 40+ years and sold it during Covid in 2021. I know baking and so does Toluca Bakery. Excellent customer service. Family owned shop with the mom and son working when my friend and I went in. So much variety, and the price point is low for all you’re getting. This is a bakery making old school, classic recipes. They veganized so many items that you can’t find in most places. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious, concha’s super tasty, Tres Leches was chef’s kiss, turnover amazing, danish great, cupcakes yum, eclairs fantastic and empanadas scrumptious. Highly recommend. Plus for folks who like supporting small business, this is exactly that. It’s a win-win-win-win. Taste-options-price-family owned & operated. Get there!“
“Everything time you come down to Griffins Observatory you have to came to The Trails for there few goodies especially their lavender shortbread cookie! That's what we ordered and Avocado Sandwich. Their sandwiches are bountiful like you can see the picture I can explain it just few words you got to come here and try it. Service are very friendly and the environment is very cute and planted seating area.“
“Quickly stopped here to grab the $8 protein bowl before running to the Chinese theater for a movie. Other than parking being tow away at rush hour as it should be, it's a wonderful place with a large footprint and ambiance and especially liked the improv theater within.“
“Located on the first floor building shared with medical offices next to the Lakeside Urgent care. Convenient to grab some coffee, juices, water, snacks, pre-made sandwiches... I needed my afternoon coffee stat and this place came thru. Friendly staff and coffee was good.“
“So good! I tried a number of menu items and loved each. The shrimp soup was perfectly spicy and packed with wonderful flavors, the appetizers (hot wings and chicken skewers) were outstanding and my entree - pad see ew with beef was just perfect. The service was ideal - helpful fast and informative. I'll definitely be back very often!“
“I know this pizzeria for about 6 years. They have the best pizza in Winnetka, if I don’t exaggerate they have the best Persian pizza in Los Angeles. Every time I have a party, it doesn’t matter birthday party or just having my friends over for a football or basketball game, everyone ask me to order some cheese or pepperoni pizza from Thyme. We all recommend this place. Next time instead of ordering pizza from Domino’s or Papa Jons, try Thyme Pizzeria. You won’t regret. Also they have this heart shaped pizza which is good for special occasions like Valentine’s Day or anniversary.Vegetarian options: I’m not vegetarian. But I believe that if this place offers a fully vegan menu, vegetarians can find lots of vegetarian options. I’m not sure if they allow substitutions on their vegan menu it. But it doesn’t hurt to ask. Definitely, they have tons of vegetarian food.Dietary restrictions: They have another menu a full vegan menu with bunch of vegan specialty pizzas, vegan pastas, vegan appetizers, and vegan desserts. Also they offer gluten-free and cauliflower gluten-free pizzas. I’ve never tried those options.Parking: There are lots of free parking spaces.“
“With so many ppl affected by gluten sensitivity this was a welcome option. My dad was ecstatic to find this place and I was pleasantly surprised that I truly enjoyed the Fonut! Flavor profiles are on point and they're not overly sweet. Still light and cake like with added protein from the almond flour. These are a Win for sure“
“Nice place food ok not wow . Or justify the price. I don't think the variety to pick from is that big. It's ok place to go with some friends after work for a drink and a small meal . The parking is ok . I eat the salmon with salad .“
“Professional and super friendly! We got greeted as soon as we walked inside and got an introduction regarding the cupcakes they sell. They are absolutely delicious and you can genuinely TASTE every flavor in the cupcake. They make sure their customers can take their time choosing their order without rushing and are worth every cent. Although im not from LA, I will buy cupcakes whenever I come back!!“
“This is a spectacular place. I have ordered from them quite a few times now and they have always come through for me. I have preserved last minute and they worked with me as much as possible to help me get a nice assortment of goodies. I have also ordered in advance and the cakes have not only been beautiful, they have been absolutely delicious! The vegan chocolate with raspberry is one of the best vegan desserts I have ever tasted, I am not vegan! The hard part is deciding which yummies to buy!The people have also been super friendly and inviting, patient and helpful.“
“Omg, when I opened the wrapper, it literally smelled like a bakery in my bedroom (i didn't want to share, hahaha)! I almost felt like I could taste them, the smell was so strong and intoxicating. The process to purchase them was different and super important to know. I just walked in, but they generally have you order ahead of time and then pick them up. This place isn't a bakery, it's their kitchen, and it doesn't seem like they make a surplus of cookies. Fortunately, they do make a few extras for people like myself who just read a bunch of reviews saying how good something is and jump up and go. They had like 6 cookies left when I got there, and I bought 1/2 of them. The chocolate chip is super thin but bursting with chocolate and is buttery. The peanut butter cookie was rich, but not too rich and moist. They were both a little too sweet for me, but I ate both of them all the way up (so clearly not TOO sweet huh) My only issue was with the chocolate decadence, it just didn't taste that good too me, but I'm not that into chocolate, I'll eat it, but this was just way too much, but duh... it is literally called chocolate decadence, so that's literally my fault (although the texture was a little strang to me). parking was absolutely awful, but it's LA where isn't parking awful. I'm so into convenience, and I'm spontaneous, so this concept of ordering ahead doesn't work for me, but it's worth it if the slightest inconvenience doesn't bother you like it bothers me!“
“My expectations were kind of low because I gave a one week notice and they didn't get back to until two days later but WOW I was mind blown when I first saw it. I had a lot of requests and gave a few reference pictures and they freaking delivered. More specifically, BECKY DELIVERED. It was for my boyfriend's 30th birthday so I wanted to do something special and let me just tell you, he loves me even more. I was most impressed by the rice she created. She hand piped the frosting to every single one to make it look more realistic. The visuals are obviously amazing but it was also delicious. I got the red velvet with the cream cheese and I was skeptical of the taste because of the other reviews but it was actually very good. My boyfriend has a huge sweet tooth and he couldn't stop eating it and we gave it to his friends to take home and they personally messaged me saying how good it was. So safe to say, they all love me too and now, I am now fully welcomed.“
“Every time I visit LA I stop by Spitz for a Mediterranean falafel wrap and half and half fries. It is always consistent, fresh, flavorful and filling. I crave the falafel wrap when I'm back home on the East Coast but haven't found anything that compares.“
“I love this delivery service for:- Prompt Customer Service- Good quality healthy food- New delicious options delivered daily- Flexible delivery plan- They reuse cooler bags and ice packs (love the leak-proof ice packs)- Recyclable food containers- Loyalty program - They promise to pick up the last bag if you wish to cancel the service (haven't tested)“
“Came here for lunch on a Friday. Cocktail was good, garlic bread was very good. Pasta was decent. Pinot Grigio was hinky, and server was nice about taking it off the check. Service was friendly, but they are understaffed. Huge menu. Solid neighborhood place.“
“I just had the best quinoa bowl EVER! I was craving warmth, nutritious and delicious and that's just what I got from Leo's vegan cafe.I've been looking for a vegan restaurant where you can taste love in the food for years in LA. Love is in the details, even with the confections that Leo's offer, I truly appreciated being able to read the ingredients that they put in their food on the counter for customers to read. Can't wait to experience the rest of the menu, We will be back!“
“Ike's has the best vegetarian subs around! Well, from what I've tried anyway. Few months back I tried their Freddy Krueger sandwich (not vegetarian) on their dutch crunch and it was great. The dutch crunch is delicious. I also tried their James and the giant peach recently and it'll be my go-to anytime I visit for sure! All the ingredients come together perfectly and the vegan fried chicken is good too! Their sandwiches come with a candy (caramel apple lollipops) and as someone with a sweet tooth, I love it. Service was good and my sandwich came out in a timely manner. It's a great place to grab a bite after running errands in the plaza.“
“I’m from the Bay Area, When I went here I thought it was gonna be another crafted donut shop but no, they really do have the best in the whole city, they don’t over pack the donuts with sugar so they aren’t overly sweet to the point it becomes a huge turn off, they are ALWAYS fresh and tasty! , and the staff are so Friendly and knowledgeable about everything! So good strongly recommend trying!!!“
“One happy Brazilian! ?These are some delicious brigadeiros! If you haven’t tried yet, you are missing out! They make a great gift and the perfect dessert when entertaining friends and family. I live in CO and had them shipped to me. They arrived beautifully and safely packaged. They are the perfect sweet bite! Thank You Maya’s Brigadeiro!!!“
“Bread is off the charts no doubt about it. I truly appreciate what it takes to make such a quality bread. People were so kind and amazing. My only thought was at $16 a loaf thats over a $1 a slice if Im lucky. Hate to say this but I wouldnt go back. Even though I loved it. Thats the most I have ever spent on bread. But if you have the money then this is the place.“
“Wanted a non-chain savory breakfast and Miracle Bakery popped up. Super nice owner has a sparkling clean, adorable corner bakery across from my motel. I ordered a breakfast sandwich (egg, cheese, lettuce, avocado) with brewed coffee for $10. Can't beat the taste, quality or service.Vegetarian options: Ordered the breakfast sandwich, very good, just skip meat. There are a couple other choices.“
“The lemon ricotta pancakes were out of this world! They have a lot to choose from. We went on a Sunday and managed to beat the crowd that started to trickle in around 930. Lots of seating inside. They also have outdoor seating in the front and back area.“
“Best local frozen yogurt and ice cream shop--always providing amazing customer service, tasty quality flavors and toppings (like their marshmallow sauce and 10/10 cookie dough), and endless customization options. The service is always speedy and friendly, employees will offer great recommendations. Located inside the Gelson's market, you can get your grocery shopping done while they keep your order chilled for you, and pick it up on the way out. Or you can stay in and get it delivered. The cake batter and chocolate flavors are my favorite but you can't go wrong with any of the ice cream or yogurt options. Highly recommend this spot!“
“Visiting from WI, randomly chose Mr Pizza and I was blown away! The guys in charge seem to really care about the food they send out. Not much of a dining room, I would recommend just doing carry out. That being said the ingredients and overall taste were FANTASTIC, one of the top 5 pizzas I’ve ever eaten! If you’re in Van Nuys give these guys a shot!“
“I stopped here for breakfast before going to Universal Studios Hollywood as it's located so close. I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere! This is a cute little French cafe. The decor was very thoughtful with French flags and cozy seats. I wish it was night time as it looked like they have lovely fairy lights for the evenings. The person at the register was friendly and our food was fresh made and probably took about 20 minutes to arrive. I ordered the alpine tartine without bacon and it was DIVINE. I really enjoyed it and the mix of Brie, sour cream, egg, potatoes, and bread. I did add some hot sauce and pepper but it was very good. I appreciate the side salad to balance out the heaviness. I did not have space for their pastries but they looked amazing. I will say the one major downside is that they did not have espresso or specialty drinks when I visited which I found disappointing. I got a canned cold coffee which was okay. I would've loved a latte or cappuccino to pair with my breakfast.“
“Really like this little place - kind of our favorite thai restaurant in burbank - friendly service and good food, but...takeout is served in NON-RECYCLABLE plastic - I'm gonna have to try and find another place just 'cause of this. Wish they would use more eco-friendly packaging!“
“I recently ordered cupcakes and cake pops from A Sweet Design for my birthday party and the guests absolutely raved about them! The cake pops are so moist and beautifully decorated, I can’t wait to order them again. The shop itself is cute and cozy, staff members are always friendly. Also, don’t sleep on their macaroons if you stop in!“
“We ordered a cake from Shirin Bakery for our wedding and it was both beautiful and delicious. Nick was super easy to work with - very responsive and helpful. He recommended both the design and flavor - both were a hit. Thanks Nick and team!“
“I was looking for a deli in Encino to go to after my doctor's appointment, Uncle Bernie's DID NOT disappointment! I had THE BEST Monte Cristo sandwich! I also had exceptional potato pancakes. My husband loved his Maria burrito. A fine example of a New York deli.Parking: I was here at noon on a Thursday. There was ample parking, but shares with other businesses.“
“We rated this place A+ on FB. The Antipasto Salad was delicious. The steak sandwich was prepared like a Philly steak sandwich and my husband absolutely loves it. I had the Hawaiian Pizza and it was the best, I don't usually like the crust, but this time I ate it all. Chicken Parmesan and Shrimp Scampi were out of this world.“
“This place is a gem! With the best food and service. We have ordered from them as a business and as for my private events and every time you can tell the food is made with love! It is a family owned business and they treat you like one as well. Very professional, extremely nice and kind.“
“The service was excellent! The guy at the counter was friendly. I ordered Pizza by the slice starting at $5 for cheese and added 3 toppings that were a $1 each. I didn't have to wait very long for it either. I'd like to try everything on there menu. They have sandwiches, pasta, garlic cheesy bread, desserts. It's a 100% vegan. I'll be going there again for sure.Dietary restrictions: They also have gluten free option.“
“On a business trip and like to find new places to try. The employee was great very helpful. Good flavor of ice cream, you can get just ice cream. A cookie or you can make it and ice cream sandwich. I did by the red velvet and strawberry matcha cinnamon rolls they were a little dry for my taste but the cream cheese frosting was great. I got a cookie and warmed it up was very good great flavor a little sweet but it was a chocolate marshmallow peanut butter cookie.“
“It’s been one of those weeks. You know the kind. Your running behind on everything and another day has just gotten away from you. Problem is, it’s a very special day today. It’s your wife’s birthday and you just have to make it special. Even during this time when we’re all staying at home. We can’t have a nice dinner at a restaurant and no time to plan a menu for take out. WHAT TO DO? I called my ace in the hole, The Sequestered Chef and said “just surprise us”. WOW did he come through. Some things were not even on his regular menu!. It was all amazing. Special salad, brisket, mashed potatoes with a hint of horseradish, amazing glazed carrots and a special desert. Chef Alex comes to the rescue once again. Maybe he should be made into a super hero!!!“
“First time here and definitely coming back!To begin, the staff was extremely friendly from beginning to end. We didn't realize they were closed already (the conversation was so good and time flew) and they were so polite when they said they were closed already.Regarding the food, we ordered the pad thai with tofu, the green curry with soy pepper steak and their chocolate cake with coconut and berries. My goodness everything was better than we expected + great portions!!!Vegetarian options: Vegan restaurant (the soy pepper steak is amazing!)Dietary restrictions: Ingredients listed out on the menu + they mention to note any dietary restrictions/food allergies.Parking: The restaurant is in a plaza which provides free 2-hour parking (lots of spots but since there are other shops in the parking lotKid-friendliness: Kid friendly environment“
“What I ordered: Ordered the goddess salad with tuna and side of bread with butter.Food for thoughts:You would think I’m eating gold leafed lettuce with caviar croutons for the price. The food was tasty and a nice size, but can’t really justify spending $40.Overall thoughts:Pricey, at least a nice portion size. Bread was good quality. Not running back for that.“
“A valley's hidden GEM!! I've gotten the oat matcha and m street macadamia milk latte now, and both did not disappoint. Both not too sweet, while still maintaining flavor. Although, I do think the drinks could use more ice or maybe bigger ice cubes because I love my drinks to be refreshingly cold esp in this valley heat but that's my personal preference. Nonetheless a 5 star review because this cafe is SO cute for selling little cards, merch, and even books!! I think a cafe's experience is really enhanced by its character and this place does it well. It would be a lovely spot to study at, there are also a few tables outside. The baristas are always super sweet, friendly, and helpful! I see myself being a regular here and nothing but love for this place!“
“best waiter I could ever ask for!! Honestly couldn’t ask for better, one of the greatest of all time or you can call him the G.O.A.T very good looking man super handsome great personality. Will be back 100% not just for the food just to have a talk with him. He deserves 6 stars if I could 5 isn’t enough to tell how good he is great waiter.“
“First time ordering pizza from here. I didn’t know what to expect, but I loved that they offer vegan cheese. Since I can no longer eat dairy, I haven’t been able to eat pizza. The pizza was delivered on-time and it was hot and fresh. The box was clean, no grease. The crust was delicious and the pizza overall was extremely tasty! I will order from here again.“
“Fantastic food in a busy but fun atmosphere. We have been coming to this restaurant since it opened at this location. The food is fantastic, there is plenty of free parking in the lot behind and usually room to be seated. Friendly staff. The only downside I have noticed over the past few years is that orders can take quite a bit longer than they used to. It's not uncommon to have a 20 to 30 minute wait once food is ordered which can be a bummer with hungry kids.“
“Thought this place was great. Wandered in here to meet a friend from LA. Thought the whole rest of the area was full of douches and jerks so had mid expectations. Our waitress was lovely and helped us pick our food. Cajun chicken sandwich was on point, really tasty with quality ingredients. Loved the unexpectedly waffle-d sweet potato fries though I do admit wanting more of them. Waitress gave me a little to go up of my Diet Coke. After my rabid anti-LA/Hollywood bias, I was won over by the chill vibes of this place so much that I went looking for someone to compliment (found the owner eventually with the help of the waitress).Great joint.“
“Our very first time trying Bucca, and it didn't disappoint! Our server Nick was very attentive and thorough. I'm such an astethic observer and loved every inch of this place. So much history in photos feels like you're visiting someone's home. Can't wait to return. We enjoyed stuffed shells and Chicken Parmigiano.“
“Stylish modern Mexican restaurant with pretty interior and healthy food.Lots of vegan options and every meat or cheese ingredient can be replaced by vegan chicken or vegan cheese.Bowls were super tasty and loved the quesadillas as well.Friendly people here and free parking on site.Vegetarian options: Every meat or cheese ingredient can be replaced by vegan chicken or vegan cheese.“
“I have purchased all of my espresso equipment and coffee from Andy Swanson of The Espresso Masters for far more than 10 years. Andy provides genuine expertise with respect to coffee selection and equipment selection at the best available prices. He also provides excellent and timely service when needed. If you are looking for coffee, coffee equipment or service, you cannot do better than The Espresso Masters.“
