“Did somebody say Caribean food? Yes, mamsir. First time here (04/25/2024) I don't usually post, but when I do, best believe it's the ish. Service is friendly with a smile. Always a plus these days. Ambiance is clean and spacious with hand sanitizer sprays on each table. Food...oh, so good. I got the jerk bean soup (believe stew), plantains, and spinach empanada something something (from display case) because why not. I was stuffed. Sorry, no pics, but this is the spot for you if you're a local, just visiting, or want to try something new. Taste and see. It's definitely a comeback spot, for sure.“

“As entreprenuers we travel the world and the unknown and get to have great experiences with people. Today we visited World Famous Grill in Downey and Hassan was the perfect gentleman. He helped us with a Kabob Combo Plate with hummus, rice salad and pita bread along with their famous Western Burger which was monstrous and delicious. Our daughter was also able to order chicken nuggets and fries as well. We appreciate these small businesses opposed to all the BIG corporations who usually say no to us asking for food. “My family and I drove 40 miles . Food was superb, mouthwatering, and clean. The meat was cooked to perfection. It tasted like the food my mom in Lebanon used to make . The owner Ali , and his beautiful and BLESSED MOM, were so welcoming, that my family and I felt that the restaurant was like HOME. Appetizers were delicious, just the way we were brought up. The Hamburger meat and the special made steak were succulent , cooked , and seasoned to perfection. Kebbeh was juicy, moist , and tender , with just the right amount of seasoning. Hummus was creamy, and delicious. Fries were well cooked and very crispy. The katayef were super delicious and light. The mom’s” znoud el set” invention were surprisingly better than the traditional one. Osmanleye was mouthwatering and surprisingly light. The service was Hands down the best we have seen so far in the STATES . The atmosphere was very inviting, which felt like we were eating at home. The whole staff was proactive and the smile never left their beautiful faces. My family and I would like to thank the owner Ali , his beautiful and blessed mother, and the whole staff who waited on us hand and foot . Let’s not forget the awesome chef Ali who is the owner’s nephew who was also responsible for this amazing experience, thank you chef Ali. Also we would like to thank the butcher Tony, who runs the meat section in the store next door. He did an amazing job cutting professionally our meat which we purchased to take home. “Finally got around to trying Daves, honestly Howling Rays set the bar pretty high imo. But gotta say, for being a chain, Daves does it right. Its really good. Pick your spice level, bread is soft, condiments are good, and the sauce OMGee. I cant still understand how you can get freshness out the drive-thru... but it works. Got my order to go ate in the car. Pro-Tip: Must be eaten right away even to go orders, eat in your car to avoid the mushiness.“

“The most delicious, freshly prepared, juicy, well seasoned chicken breast sandwich I've ever had! It was great. At first, I thought it was burned because it was a really dark brown. But that's because it was saturated in seasoning. I chose the hot one and it was hot! Took a few minutes to sink in. The sauce that came with it looks like thousand island dressing but doesn't taste like it. Kinda hard to describe the taste except it Kinda cools down the intense heat and pairs well with the chicken. “I’m so so sorry for all those that miss out on this little gem tucked away in this little strip mall cause you’re certainly missing out on some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in ages. Superblylicious!!! The place is small and very unassuming and in fact I thought I had walked in the wrong place if not for the yummalicious smell of the food in the air that had pulled me further in…my son picked this place out but I’d been wanting to try it for several months. I had the Lamb kabab dinner my son had the steak and then ordered a chicken kabab on the side. They were so delicious and tender I will order all 3 again. Yep. All THREE and share. Oh oh…the Garlic potatoes are off the rocker. So Ah-May-Zing! One order is enough for 2 people. But let’s talk hummus…seriously let’s talk. I love hummus and they do hummus. 5 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ for the hummus. So to recap we ordered the kabab dinner which are served over a huge bed of fluffy flavored rice with a grilled onion and tomato, huge serving of hummus ❤️ plus pita bread, salad, pickled spicy onions and the best garlic dip EHVERRRR! They have wraps, bowls and all kinds of items. The food is done right and I’m already planning to go back this week. They have 2 other locations. The one in Long Beach is a larger restaurant that is a larger dine in serves wine and beer. Going to try there too.“

The orange chicken is amazing especially because they give you big chunks of chicken unlike other Chinese restaurants where it’s more breading than chicken.If you are in a rush call ahead or else you’ll be waiting awhile.
