Tiki Bars near Pasadena, CA

“I agree with the comment that Barney's Beanery turned their basement into a 'tiki bar'. But honestly smart decision and I'm not even mad about it. We basically got tricked into going to Barney's. The upstairs is a pool hall with tasty drinks and the basement is a drive bar with a good karaoke DJ on Saturday nights. Although the DJ for regular Barney's and the pool hall was killing it with the early 2000's jams. Anyways the point of this review is to commend one of the bartenders, Devin. There was an older gentleman talking to my friend and I most of the night. When the bar was closing and my friend was in the bathroom the gentleman was still hanging around me. Several times Devin asked me if I was good and made sure I felt safe. I could tell he also made the other bartenders aware of his concern. That is a great bartender. That is a quality you want in every bartender. And even though I was completely fine knowing Devin was looking out for me made me feel so safe and scene.“

“Good Food here, great customer service and the server - Mary, she is down to earth, answers my question and very much cares for her customers all the time. I love the atmosphere and I feel very comfortable taking time to dine in the restaurant.Vegetarian options: You can ask to take out Butter and Cheese.Parking: People should relax and find parking there.Wheelchair accessibility: The dining room is spacious and the restroom definitely could fit a wheelchair.“

“Had the ceviche to start and it was really good. Wife had the burger and I had the branzino fish and chips. Wife said burger was salty and for the price, wish it came with fries. Had a bite of her burger and thought it was okay. Branzino fish and chips was very delicious. The touch of aji amarillo was great. Cocktails were great.“
