“Wonderful place. We tried all the specials. Bean soup (delicious). Pot roast (so tender). Beignets (straight from New Orleans).I really appreciated the portions, and that they were willing to split the entrées between me and my partner without any hassle. The wine list is also above reproach. Great variety of Sonoma county and external wines. Looking at you Bonny Doon from Aptos. When we come back to Glen Ellen, this will be on the list to visit again.“

“What an amazing night at Yeti in Glen Ellen! Located in the heart of Sonoma County, amidst the charming Jack London Village and other cute shopping areas, the restaurant boasts a perfect setting. We indulged in mouthwatering delights like chicken tikka masala, garlic cilantro naan, vegetable momo, basmati rice, and vegetable curry. A culinary journey worth repeating!“

“Such a cool, moody Saloon, we arrived early evening, it was dark in the beautiful hamlet of Glen Ellen. We managed to grab the front window table with a couple of leather club chairs, a great place to get a view of the bar and it patrons. And we arrived just in time because the crowds were just forming. We ponied up to the bar got our drinks then decided to have some good pub grub. So we got back in line at the bar and ordered a cheese burger and some other sandwich my friend ordered, it's in the photo. They also have daily specials and that night was a prime rib offering. A little too much meat for me and if I recall it had a $40 price tag. Within a few minutes a server came out set up our small table and dropped off our grub. I was pretty hungry by that time, the burger was great and the fries too. The prices are fair and the portions are generous. Since we were in the main part of the bar it was getting really loud, but it's kinda expected in that atmosphere. They do have a quieter area just through the open doorway. They also have a big outdoor patio but it was too cold to sit out there that evening. They may have heat lamps but I didn't pay attention. I've been to Glen Ellen so many times and there is always new restaurants, and shops opening and closing there, but this place has been a staple in the small town of Glen Ellen for ages and I'm embarrassed to say it's the first time I've set foot inside. But I'd do it again. It has a great authentic vibe.“

“Loved the restaurant property. Cocktails were done right. Ordered aged rib eye, charcoal grilled duck, Spring pea sales and a side of grilled kohlrabi. Most impressed with the charcoal fire station. Ribeye came out exactly medium rare. Duck was also perfectly grilled. Spring pea salad was refreshing.“

“Always the best food, service, and hospitality in Sonoma. A couple of recent additions to the menu were out of this world...a trout tartare, and a seared tuna that had the most wonderful light sauce that had a tad bit of heat. Wine list is locally focused and continues to be one of the best in wine country. I've never had an experience here that wasn't outstanding.“

“So our family has a friendly competition to locate the best fish tacos anywhere. And I am a chili relleno snob so we stopped here on my daughter-in-law's suggestion and unfortunately she wins or maybe fortunately? The fish tacos were better than anything I've ever had and the chili Anna was above average so I can strongly recommend this place for the food. We had to wait about 10 minutes at the register even though they were open at 11:00 which bothers me a little bit because if you're going to open the front door you should be ready to go. But other than that the food came out promptly and was beyond amazing“
“This place has been on my list for a while, I have driven by so many times and it always catches my eye. I am *so* glad I stopped by, I officially have a new go-to lunch spot! There's seating inside and outside, the food is so dang flavorful (I could go for more of their toum anytime), and the portions are perfect. I can't recommend this place enough!“

“Absolutely delicious! We made Mustards our mid-day stop for lunch between wine tastings and couldn't have asked for a better experience. We had the rabbit, meatloaf, and pork chop which we couldn't find any faults with. Our reservation was at 12:15 and it was very busy up until we left and there was still a wait. Make a reservation if possible!“

“I love this spot, each time I go it is consistently delicious. It is evident that a lot of intention and care goes into the menu, quality, and service. A+ in my book, and I rarely am down to pay $15+ for a sando. Some may find that pricey but THESE ARE GOURMET STATUS AND VERY MUCH WORTH IT.Pictured top to bottom: Bahn Mi (inspired) and the Point Reyes.Tbh this is my second review because I just appreciate this spot and want to see it succeed and stay open. Also the owner is very kind and courteous and deserves it.If I get a membership at the gym it is located within, it will be in part due to The Local :)“

“The food is really great - highly recommend the ribs! Even though they're beef ribs and not pork, they fall off the bone with a delicious sauce. The cheese and charcuterie area bit skimpy for 4 ppl. Be prepared as the food selection is a little light - they only serve what they grow. So for example the burger was great but didn't come with tomatoes.Plenty of parking.“
“A stunningly beautiful mothers day brunch! The presentation was wonderful and each course was absolutely delicious. Plus you can't beat the gorgeous view from the deck. We both had the peach bellinis and delta asparagus soup with crab. It has always been our favorite dish. I had the Iberian duroc pork chop and my mom had the lobster omlette. For dessert, I had the keylime cheesecake, and she had the strawberries with yogurt pannacotta. The service was exemplary. We had the perfect mothers day and left with fresh cut roses. I just love the attention to detail.I highly recommend Auberge du soleil for a spectacular dining experience.“

“Plenty of photos to accompany this review. The grounds are beautiful and the service was very attentive. I did not realize there is no dinner service here which surprised me a bit. The lemonade was not the powder kind and the dishes were all excellent except one. Brussel sprouts, the oversize onion rings, Chicken sandwich, Pork sandwich, and salad with shrimp were all very tasty. My question (I do not know the answer for sure so the potential single star beat down did not take place) is around the poke entree. The poke looks very much like the standard fish obtained from restaurant depot. Just like the seaweed salad that most places use from this supplier. I bring this up since the overall quality of the food here was high so I would hope they do not leverage that generic supplier for this dish. All in all, it is a five star establishment.“

“Food was excellent. Service had some high points but the server seemed a bit burnt out and fake. Still, everything arrived as we asked. Our table was not really crumbed well. Also, the server rushed through the additions as if she had said the same thing a thousand times. The host (maybe he was the manager) was charming as was the food runner and busser. We ordered 2 desserts, the butterscotch pudding was heavily lauded by the server and was good but not the best I've ever had. We also ordered the bruleed banana split which redefines a banana split and was by far the best dessert we had in the over 12 restaurants we visited while in the wine country. Pasta with tiger prawns, peas, lemon and capers in a light cream was excellent but would have benefitted from a little more linguini. In all, I recommend Market to anyone who is living in or visiting Calistoga.“

“Wow! This is the best ice cream spot in Sonoma! I had the butter prickle- their most popular flavor. It was delicious! They have a nice sitting area right outside where you can enjoy your ice cream as you catch the sunset or enjoy the day. There’s also accessibility for wheelchairs! I was blown away by the quality of the ice cream. I will be back!Wheelchair accessibility: It is available!“

“Always a favorite local spot. The risotto never disappoints ; creamy cheesy velvety richness with a nice piece of halibut; Need a side of something green and crispy to cut that richness; mussels are a must and get extra bread; staff are like your besties; welcoming warm home town feel and great food; wish they would open on weekends !“

“At our advanced age we have not caught up the rapid increase in the cost of eating out...but that is what it is. Ignoring that fact of the cost of living today, our view of the quality of food and service stands alone, and that view is that we had a marvelous meal and the service was excellent. We will probably return to enjoy that food and service again soon.“

“Ok, so we were visiting the "wine country" of Sonoma and Napa Valley, after some great wine tasting (try Gingrich Hills Vinyard ask for Kyle) we stopped at this roadside restaurant with outdoor seating and glad we did ?. The food is great we had the cheeseburger, fries and a soft drink very delicious, cooked to order with fresh ingredients, you can really taste them in in the food And that makes All the difference ? wish I lived closer, I'd be there a couple times a week they have a great menu. ? OK before I forget again let me tell you about their homemade ice cream served on a cone ? ? crazy ? crazy ? Good ? it was the perfect dessert to top off a great meal, from a "Do Drop In" of a "Roadside Food Joint" I can't wait to go back. ?Oh! yeah!! here is a little secret, I'll share just with you ? there is extra seating behind the restaurant in a large grassy picnic area it's the more "relaxed seating" area. ?Most people don't realize there is extra seating and gather mostly in the front seating area thats along the main road. ?Enjoy ?Tell them Fred sent you. ?“

“The BEST sandwiches in town. I, personally, think they are a much better quality than when it was Mr. Pickles. Much friendlier staff and owner. I rate this 10 stars. Love the vegetarian sando on Dutch crunch with Swiss and Baja sauce. Chicken salad sando excellent too. All good! Fresh“

“What a great little find - they have a great bar and cocktails. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We shared the tenderloin for 2 and were very happy as the meat was prepared very well w/good flavor. The Desserts are ample for 2 people. I was pretty astounded at how much food the chef and sous chef produce and prepare very well in one of the smallest but most efficient kitchens I have every seen. Will definitely go back when I return to Sonoma next time.“
“Great farm to table fresh meals! Im hopelessly addicted to the Chicken Faro Salad. Great, friendly staff. I highly recommend eating here.“

“They don't need more good reviews, everyone knows this is THE PLACE. But they deserve more so here we go! Quality sandos for years, fresh ingredients, amazing cheese selection (the high quality cheese on your sando makes allll the difference). Staff is always super friendly and take home some of their Giugni sauce/dressing/marinade. Seriously we use this on everything. There's a reason this place has been here for years. Go, wait in the line if there is one, get a sando, you will never regret it.“

“Two words: Fancy. Toast. Girlies, hear me out, we love having our little treats that are fantastic flavor and a balance between sweet/savory. The fancy toast is all of that. They come bite sized, and you can get four for $29. The leek fritters and steak fries were a great appetizer and especially delicious during happy hour. I definitely would come back here again on gorgeous weather days. The seating/furniture is inviting for groups who want a casual hangout.“

“Good diner food at a good price. I loved the simple atmosphere with assorted momentos accumulated over 20+ years of ownership. Reminds me of the Lighthouse Café on Sanibel Island, another restaurant I really like. We ate here all three mornings during our stay at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn which is about two blocks away. The staff was attentive and friendly. The place is clearly popular with locals for good reason.“

“We've been to Ayawaska several times and it has been a bit inconsistent.... however the food was always compelling enough to return. This visit was the best ever. The service, cocktails (a new, wider selection) and food all hit high notes.Every dish was balanced and well present, but above all it was delicious.I suspect maybe a new GM or new focus on operations!“

“Petaluma is extremely lucky to have Stockhome. And that's because there's too many of all the usual restaurants, Chinese, mexican, Italian. I grew up eating a variety of European foods and Stockhome brings back alot of memories of my mom's cooking. I recommend trying everything on the menu, you won't be disappointed!!“

“Grabbed lunch during my tour of Napa and Sonoma and was craving some pasta! I went right at opening time and the place started filling up quickly.Their service was really friendly and helpful! The pasta was great and coffee was normal. Many reviews highlighted their pizzas but unfortunately I was a solo diner and doubt I’ll be able to finish an entire pie! Will definitely return if I’m in the area again!“

“Had lunch there today with 3 of my friends. We are all locals. It was such a lovely experience! Food was delicious…. I’m a vegetarian and had no problem choosing my dish…. There are also Vegan dishes available. The atmosphere is relaxing and the service was excellent. I must mention the French Fries…. There are several restaurants in Sonoma that serve delicious fries but these are the best. I’m looking forward to many more enjoyable meals there!“
“We arrived at the shop an hour prior to closing to celebrate our daughter's birthday who recently turned 21. We met Ori who was jovial and very hospitable. It was our 1st time here so he explained to us that after the wine tasting he will find the right bottle of wine for each of us. Ori started off with asking if we were looking for red, white, or both. Then the next question was if we like dry or fruity wine. We wanted both so he started us off with a bottle of dry white and asked us if we liked it then based on your answer he will let you taste different type of wine from small locally grown winery until he found the right bottle for each of the taster. We went thru the same process with red wines. Even though Ori does not drink wine, but he is very knowledgeable enjoys his job, very lively, fun, patience so it made our wine tasting experience very memorable . If you have never drank wine or does not know what you want to drink, I highly recommend visiting Ori and go thru the process. It will save you tons of money trying to figure out what kind of wine fits your taste. My wife and daughters walked out if their half drunk due to the amount of wine Ori offered to us. Very highly recommend you visit this shop“

“We visited Goose & Gander on a Sunday night so it wasn't all that busy. Our server, RJ, was very attentive and described the specials. We ordered the tempura fried fava beans he recommended for an appetizer and they were delicious! The cocktails were excellent—some of the best! I had a play on a Margarita which was with spicy pepper and ginger. My husband had a Manhattan. We split the G&G burger and ordered a duck egg on top. (The other option, which is bone marrow on the burger, is also delicious.). For dessert we had bread pudding with a Guinness caramel sauce and Jameson ice cream. All was spectacular!“

“I’ve been here twice now, and can’t get enough! I tried the minty chocolate ice cream that they had, can’t remember the name and it was delicious. But my absolute favorite was the lavender ice cream with the gluten-free waffle cone. I do not have a gluten intolerance, but I ordered it because the waffle cone was cinnamon flavored and it was amazing.“

“Great Mexican food and reasonable prices. Friendly service, in a casual and festive ambience. I usually get the $13.75 Super Burrito with al pastor...covered in sauce, the grilled pork is so tender, flavorful, and juicy! And its huge! More recently I splurged for the $18 Surf and Turf burrito...loaded with grilled steak and shrimps, fantastic!“

“Great food but the location of and line for the bathroom gives me anxiety, mainly for the staff. It was a charming place in a charming area in general. There was an incredibly loud table next to us that I would’ve loved to be told to quiet down but I know that’s not necessarily something a restaurant can do.I really enjoyed the bread (despite not liking olives) and butter, pasta, and branzino. The chicken had a good crispy chicken but was a bit dry in the center as chicken breast tends to be. Didn’t love the carrots because they were pickled but that’s personal preference. The olive oil cake was delicious and I liked the crisp edges. Would’ve liked more strawberries than rhubarb.“
