“It is night and day between this location and the one by my house!! Employees here greeted me as I came in. They were a bit busy but acknowledged my presence by let me know they'd be right with me. They got my order correct the first time. I highly recommend this location. My order was done promptly and correctly.“

“This is everything a Vietnamese sandwich shop should be. #1 or #3, iced coffee, a produce box on top of a milk crate for seating, and soap operas on the tele. It's a food stall. Nothing more, nothing less. Walked out of there with 3 Bahn Mis, iced coffee, and a soda for $25 (not including tip; don't forget to tip). Actually, I walked out without anything because...soaps operas. Just left with a memory of what I wish I had at home“

“It had been way too long getting back to Philippe's. It's exactly the same as it was 10 years ago! Awesome! Best dipped lamb sandwich anywhere and that goes for the potatoe salad as well. Inside it still has that old world charm! And as always the place was busy with means they are doing it right! If your in LA near Dodger stadium and you're looking for a place to grab a bite? “Try the ribeye hot sandwich. Went from 5 stars to 4 because I got half a pound of waffle fries and they were stale and hard, as if they were sitting there for a while. Everything is was great except that. I wouldn't get the waffle fries. Empanadas are sweet, not for me.“
“Went there for the first time today with the husband. The place was great had a good atmosphere. The employees where great handled the food properly, quick, friendly. The food was ok, nothing special about it. To me it lacks a bit of seasonings on their fries. We got a double cheeseburger, chili cheese fries with pastrami and pastrami sandwich. The pastrami sandwichs what what I felt was the best. And like I mentioned the service and their organization skills where great! Talk about teamwork. ?“
