Fresh chips and salsa varieties available at the front, along with fresh water, self serve. we asked for containers and got free, fresh chips as well. Let's all support this family business!”

“The food was awesome! Worth the drive. OMG!!! I had all but written NICK the GREEK off after patronizing the Vallejo location; PINOLE IS THE BEST-TEST!!? I couldn’t even believe it was the same restaurant. The Pinole location is 100 times better than any Nick the Greek I’ve ever been to. Super clean, super friendly and the most delicious beef-lamb. They have a very good menu. I chose to order the Korean Bento Box with grilled spicy chicken. I like spicy food, and this item was not too spicy, so I ordered more
chile.
The green tea was super good.
I will return and order the spicy grilled mackerel.”

I came to support a friend at the jam, Ceasar Myles and the Dreaded Truth reggae band came from the SF peninsula, and the next thing you know we had a Saturday night gig.

Now they want us back...

The family atmosphere on the Tuesday night jams is amazing, I really can't say anything bad about the place.

As a musician, getting a consistent warm welcome and a plate of food is over the top for me.

“We made our first visit to Ristorante Due Rose last evening (6/2/2023)--what a amazing dinner we had! I had the Linguine Tutto Mare (thin flat pasta with clams, squid, prawns, scallops and fish, seasoned with tomatoes, crushed red pepper, garlic and white wine.). I think the best Italian dish I have ever had (and I have been to Italy). The pasta was cooked to perfection--none of the flavorless stuff you might find elsewhere, and the sauce was out of this world. My husband had the Grigliata di Mare (Grilled scallops, prawns, calamari, parsley, lemon sauce, roasted potatoes and arugula salad) and also raved about it. Great service and reasonable prices. 💞We will definitely be back!”

“Can't rly give atmosphere 5 stars because it's takeout only but the wife and I love this place! Banh mi is excellent, as are the bowls of whatever. I don't think there's anything the owner chef woman can't make well. She used to run 3 restaurants! Also she is an angel. Go there for the owner chef woman if nothing else. Also egg rolls and crab rangoon are yummy.

“Was on a morning walk and noticed this place was open. Got a breakfast sandwich and a hazelnut latte. Both were great tasting. Nice clean beautiful place. I'll definitely be back for more. The coffee was a little light so next time add an additional shot.”

“We went here on a Monday for brunch and we’re a bit disappointed they didn’t have the dim sum carts, I guess they only do that on Sunday but we were able to order dim sum off the menu and everything we ordered was delicious. We will definitely go back again but next time we will be sure to go on a Sunday because it’s just so fun picking thing out off of the carts where you can see how good everything looks.”

“I grew up in Omaha. I have a point. That is where the Ruben Sandwich was born. I moved away over 40 years ago and I have had mixed results finding a good Ruben Sandwich until I ordered one at the Red Onion. It was perfect. We will be going here more and more. Great food and friendly service.”

“Tachikawa has a warm and friendly atmosphere. The service was prompt and cordial. The food is very good and served more in a "Home-Style" vs a more extravagant style you will find a some sushi/Japanese restaurants. The fish was fresh and we enjoyed the sushi presentation very much! The Tonkatsu was crispy and plentiful. These are my two gauges for any Japanese restaurant. If the fish is fresh and the Tonkatsu is not tough and the breading stays on the meat, I will come back!”

“Rickshaw Chinese Restaurant is a take out only There is no option of sitting down. Henceforth it is take out only. That's a plus you won't have to take out a loan to get good healthy food.There are some benches out sde if you can't wait to get home. It is popular with locals and those in the know. Food is displayed to see sells quickly so it always fresh . Never dried out from sitting at a steam table. Some nights a hour before closing at 8pm they maybe sold out of pork fried rice or barbecue pork loin or sweet and sour pork with vegetable The sauce is not too sweet not too sour. It's like Goldilock's porridge at the home of the three bears just right. Portions are big I can barely finish a pork fried rice with a sweet and sour pork entree. $12.50 includes tax.
The Chef takes pride in making good tasting food a simple menu with something for almost everyone. Yes I am a big fan of Chinese style cooking. Sometimes a simple dish made with care is just as good as a fancy complex food at 3 times the price. Highly recommend for the days you are just too tired to cook or just because you want to to enjoy their food. I only like to post positive reviews of well made foods.

“Honana Hawaiian Food is simply the BEST!
I've tried many Hawaiian places, but none compare. Their chicken katsu is my absolute favorite - crispy, flavorful, and always fresh. The staff is incredibly friendly too.
Even though I don't live in Pinole, I'll gladly make the drive for their amazing food. It's always worth it!”

Check online and on the app for occasional details. The estimated pick up time is very accurate.

There's usually only one person in front assembling pizzas and handing pizzas to pizza so be a little patient.”
