“Some of the best coffee within a mile or so and definitely a nice hidden quiet but small spot to sit away from the bustle. They’re almond cookies are a great gluten free option. But everything else is amazing as well.A small business with a talented baker, not just another chain. Come support them!Don’t know why it doesn’t pop up on Google when you search for “coffee shops” near by though. Strange.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free option“

“Guys, these Spicy Fries are UN-BEELIEVABLE!!An extra on the sides menu - wow, these are some VERY special spicy fries - glazed and sweet and spicy and crunchy and perfect! And they are unique to this place! But I have a feeling this kind of special chefs recipe will be imitated elsewhere very soon.R&R is also an excellent place, very simple, great local cozy diner style place, you could bring the whole family, my kids loved it, their tortilla omelette, and their homemade corned beef hash breakfasts were amazing - kids keep begging me to come back. But the real star were these fries, wow. And it's very clear that the family running this business is highly invested in everything there. Great spirit, very attentive, warm service, great place - R&R, Rivera & Ruiz, you've made our family's favorite local Richmond breakfast and lunch (brunch) spot, we'll be back, often I'm sure (craving those fries already!).“

“We stayed in Vallejo back in September for our Napa trip and I am just now getting around to leaving all of my reviews. We stopped in here for a couple of beers and food after we arrived in Vallejo because we had an hour or so before we could check into our airbnb. It was nice because it ended up being just a couple of minutes from the airbnb! They had a very nice selection of beers to choose from. We ordered our drinks and food and then sat outside on the patio to get some sun. They had a lot of plants growing in planters all around, so it was pretty despite it only being a multi-level deck. The staff were friendly, the food was good, and the beers even better. A lovely neighborhood spot for some drinks and snacks.“

“Ordered a sheet cake for a book release party. There were two layers of beautiful, delicate vanilla cake with generous custard and delicious raspberry filling. The image of the book cover was sharp and set off with flawless piping. The online order ahead system works well. Such a fabulous cake for a special evening!“

“If you are going to LabCorp on Solano and you have to fast, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND stopping into this place to get a breakfast sammy after your blood draw is over. Friendly service, no wait, and a tasty egg sandwich at a reasonable price. I've been shopping and dining on Solano since I was a teenager and I had never clocked this place, but I am so glad I did. Just me, a quiet magazine, breakfast, and glad to be done with my blood draw. The perfect combo. Thanks for the great sandwich!“

“What a lovely cafe to enjoy. Small and quiet. Great food. Enjoyed our breakfast. Avocado toast with salmon was sooo good. The eggs, potatoes and bacon were perfect. Coffee is outstanding. Has great garden seating or inside table seating. Friends have said lunch is great too. We will return.“

“We went here for brunch. Good, unique food! Service was good, staff was very nice, consistent with a chill Berkeley vibe. I tried the southern style breakfast, which was a nice healthier take on southern classics. Good flavor. The baked egg was perfect, and in a cute shape. Loved the greens and the yam, and the black-eyed peas were lovely. The cornbread could've been a bit more moist I thought, but overall enjoyed it!“

“I'd been curious about this place for years, super cute looking. The Orange Blossom Latte was so delicious and smooth and I was able to order it dairy free (with oat milk- best brand of oat milk too) which was perfect for my gut. The atmosphere is perfect for a date, catching up with a friend, getting some work done, or just sitting with a drink. Very pleasant and friendly staff and they were fast too. Definitely will want to come back.“

“Good atmosphere and good chicken pesto panini. If they had blended coffee drinks with a silent blender, it would be much better. But still worth itParking: Not a lot of parking options. The city will soon remove most nearby parking in the area so they can put up some cement dividers. Soon you will only be able to walk/bike there.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, accessible.“
“Our neighborhood finally has a new gem of a restaurant! Everything about this spot is wonderful. The attention to detail in the decor (cozy fireplace, exposed brick, distressed woodwork, leaf-shaped cushions, gold silverware, plants galore) is transportive. The food is ravishingly fresh and thoughtfully prepared. On two different visits, we shared Market Salads, Chia Bowls, Yogurt Bowls, and Lava Eggs. Tanzie, the owner, is delightful, and you can tell she has a hand in every dish. My 8-year-old, who is a very picky eater, loved the yogurt bowl, eggs, and especially the Thai Beignets! Finally, a brunch I can look forward to, a few steps from my house...“

“Perfect placement to look at the water and cute houses! Ordered the mushroom, potato, onion, and spinach empanadas to share with my mom, all were extremely flavorful and filling. Sauce containers are extremely small, but the food doesn't need much, and their chimichurri was the most flavorful I've ever tasted. The blended cookies and creme and Thai tea both had a wonderful consistency, and went well with the dulce de leche alfajores. The gentlemen running the place are polite and efficient, we didn't have to wait long and I saw them actively cleaning on the way out. Bonus points for being wheelchair accessible! Only reason this place isn't five stars is because everything has SEVERELY upped in price. Those few things added almost up to 50 dollars, but that's mostly because we wanted to see which items we liked the most. Highly recommend for a sit down snack in Hercules!“

“Great place for tapioca drinks! The blended/slushy honeydew with boba (which were tender) was flavorful. Their cinnamon roll was delicious AND the staff was friendly. We also got some lotto tickets since they also sold them (cash only). Would definitely come back again to try other drinks and snacks ??“

“Love the Lemon Gals! A little hard to find the first time but I’m so glad we went there. The Olla is so delicious I think I might be developing an addiction. The staff is super friendly and she even remembered our order from the last time. Next time I will definitely try one of their baked goods because they look amazing.“

“The interior is surprisingly very spacious. Menu has a great variety of items but I decided on the salmon avocado toast & standard latte for breakfast. Both were great & the sandwich ingredients tasted fresh. Great for people watching as you enjoy your morning drink.“

“Great brunch place! The Lama Special is great: two eggs, two pancakes (with butter and maple syrup), bacon and some fruit (price: $15 + taxes). It was very tasty, and the pancakes were especially soft. The food was ready very quickly! Even though the kitchen is open, the place does not smell thickly of food.“

“They play the best music, they make their own flavored syrups (the lavender is my fav), their patio gets the perfect amount of sun, everyone that works here has a great vibe. Love this place. “Lovely people and awesome coffee. My favorite is the Tumeric Late. Living Ketovore, I get it made with half and half, which cuts the carbs way down, and turns it into a meal, practically. Love it!!! ❤☕“

“Obsessed with this stand! Used to be my favorite as a Berkeley resident and continues to be. Delicious, local, and organic goods for most diets. The energy is great! Came by with my pups to get a coffee before the dog park and Joey helped me out with amazing service- he basically predicted my order. Love the vibe and ambiance of the outside seats outside too.“

“One of the most unique cafes in Berkeley, worth a visit for sure! Nice working atmosphere, decent snack and small bite selection, solid drinks and friendly and efficient service. Love the board games theme and concept of the cafe and hope to have the time to try it out one day. Seems to have a strong community and would definitely come back with friends later on. Honey lavender latte is very nice. Some of the drink flavors are more subtle but the baristas are very friendly and were happy to add more and adjust to your preferences.“
