“It's becoming more rare to find restaurants that have great service and great food at reasonable prices. The Par lounge has both. Combined with a full bar and live music on specific days, this place has become my favorite place to visit. Highly recommend it.“
“Stopped here while visiting family in Ramona. A party of 2 and we shared the Fresh in house roasted turkey sandwich on rye and a side of fries. It was excellent. For dessert we shared a slice of the apple blueberry pie. It was a gigantic slice, and it was also excellent. Fresh and homemade tasting. Our waitress was very nice. Do yourself a favor and eat here if you're in Ramona.“
“We stopped here on the way to a camping trip, as we were looking for a spot to watch a football game. First of all, it is so fun inside! Great pool tables, fun lights, a stage...think upscale dive bar! We had amazing service, and the bartender even took the time to help us find the channel with our game so that we could watch. She was attentive, kind, and engaging. There was a great variety of beer on tap, including a sour which is my beer of choice! The food was absolutely delicious! We shared the fried pickles and shared a couple of burgers with beer battered fries and onion rings as the sides. All of it was cooked great, and it was all flavorful! We really enjoyed our time here!“
“Delicious breakfast and excellent service. We were in a bit of a hurry and we let them know and they got us in and out in 30 minutes! Definitely get a cinnamon roll to go. Definitely don't get one per person, they are gigantic! One feeds at least 4 people. Probably better there, served warm, if you have room in your stomach. I took half of my breakfast burrito to go it was so much food!“
“I have to be honest, my review is based on what I order every time...the pizza is always my go-to with an order of brussel sprouts - YUM!! They have great salads as well, along with a good bar selection. The service is good, they hustle when it's busy. I recommend sitting on the patio, great view of the golf course.“
“Dark, loud, and divey with cold beer and fantastic burgers! A favorite post-hike treat for us on a weekend afternoon. I can't attest for the night scene, but during daylight hours you will usually find a scattering of locals and possibly a few bikers taking a break from their ride back from Julian. My favorite burger is the Juicy Lucy - always delicious and dripping with toppings and cheese. Pair that with a cold beer and dome tater tots, and i'm in heaven!“
“Came here by chance for a bite while returning to San Diego from Anza Borrego. The service was great and the food excellent. We had garlic parmesan wings and the bacon cheeseburger sliders. Learned later that they've been voted best burger in Ramona for many years and it's no surprise. The sliders were meaty and juicy. We'll definitely stop on future trips.“
“We went to the Ramona Denny's for a early dinner. I had the salmon and the person I was with had the steak salad. It was all delicious! Would not think this great food came from a Denny's restaurant. But ever time we eat there the food is great. I always thought Denny's was more of a seniors dinner, but the meal size is good and the seasoning is excellent. Very tasty. We also had the lava cake for dessert. That was wonderful. The manager there is friendly and very quick to wait on you. Been to the Denny's and none can compare to this one.“
“Chicken tortilla soup... this location has the best I've had. and their chips and salsa are PERFECT. Their ribs are the best in Ramona with only one close competitor. While another local establishment has good ribs, we opt for Nuevo for overall appeal. Without doubt, they're fresh and made onsite. THAT is awesome! This spot is a cozy go-to for mid-level dining; a place you'd want to go when you want something nicer than takeout, but not too overpriced. Nuevo is perfect for that! Friendly staff, always clean and seating is almost always right away. If there is a wait, it isn't long.“
