“I cannot recommend this venue enough!! I had the honor of being apart of a wedding there and not only is this venue absolutely gorgeous but the team behind the scenes are outstanding! Ellie gave such a great tour of the venue and knew all of the answers to our questions and Sam the venue manager was there at the event the whole time making sure the day went flawlessly. They all went above and beyond our expectations. Great venue and an even better team that handled everything to perfection! I will be recommending this venue to everyone who is getting married!“
“I love this place. Since I’m a vegetarian (see my other reviews) it can be challenging to find tasty, low karma, clean healthy food in Ramona. This restaurant has fresh vegetarian spring rolls with tofu. Yum. No hidden fish sauce or other bad stuff. My favorite person, Tam, is always happy to see me and always remembers my favorite sauces, and needed napkins. Thanks for giving me a place to go to lunch during the work week. Clean inside and always friendly. See my other vegetarian reviews on yelp under Kellie B.“
“Stopped in last weekend with my dog to relax and enjoy the wines here at Crystal Hill Winery. We were greeted by Scott the owner who served us personally as I chose a comfy glider chair. There was a sweeping view from this hillside location with vineyards and horse corrals down below. I chose a flight of reds. All were delicious and the Whiskey Cabernet was outstanding! I had to try a flatbread pizza and it was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend treating yourself to a visit to Crystal Hill Winery. I will definitely be going back. ~ Anne“
“I am a food snob. This is an excellent resturant - the food is high quality, perfectly seasoned & cooked expertly. Really - GO TO THIS PLACE! As a former personal chef & high school foods educator, this is a place to eat quality food.“
“I came with my family and two children, and it was a small, intimate space with beautiful plants and a lovely view. There was a surprising number of wines to sample, and they were all delicious. My favorites were the Cab Franc, the Malbec, and both ports were amazingly good. We brought our own food and snacks. I can't recommend more.“
“Beautiful winery just above Ramona. We were able to taste the various organically grown wines - they all tasted very good. I recommend bringing a small picnic or chips. On the beautiful viewing terrace you can enjoy the view and just sit and switch off.“
“Other than wishing they were open with longer hours into the evening, everything about this place is awesome.Parking: There are plenty of parking options nearby between the parking lot and street, however, this can sometimes fill up and make it a challenge.“
“Found this gem when my boyfriend was showing me around Ramona, now every time I come up here I always have to stop at la michoacana for a little treat so yeah, this review is overdue ! Also, one thing I have to mention, is how great the service is here, it feels like home. everyone here is lovely ! Today I had the chicharrón preparado and a strawberry/lime agua fresca, and they were both amazing ! Other times I've visited, I get agua de fresa, banana or try their various ice cream flavors ! (gansito & chocolate abuelita are my favorite). So if you have a sweet tooth or like spicy or non spicy, just come here, they have plenty of options with lots of flavor !“
“Awesome establishment! Bartenders were nice, plenty of room and the bathrooms were super clean. They hooked me with with a free NA beer for being the DD. Not too many places do that! No food but they had an outside food truck that let you bring food inside. Will definitely be coming here again when catching shows at the main stage!“
“One of our favorite winery experiences so far and we've been to many! Gorgeous views, incredibly hospitable service from Marilyn, her husband and pups! We brought our own food from Ramona family naturals cafe , a delicious apple chicken salad sandwich. Reasonable priced, award winning wines. The Grenache was my favorite, super light bodied fragrant red. Followed by the Cab Franc. Cannot wait to come in November to try the new releases!“
“Love this spot! We went on a Saturday and enjoyed the super pretty view of the vines and hills, fun live music, friendly staff, etc. The wine is delicious! We did a tasting and ended up purchasing a bottle of the Aquarius and the and the Bellatrix. The owner was so friendly and brought out wine and a cheese plate for us. I definitely recommend!“
“This family owned winery is amazing! Not only they have great organic clean wines, but they staff are friendly and wonderful people! We had a great experience for our first time visit … tried many different wines and they all were great. We joined the club member as we felt like the wines are great and like typical Italian wines and we would love to come back here and be part of this amazing family owed winery.“
“Atmosphere: Great view, extremely friendly staff. Our few visits were always with Audrey. We have received freebies like olives on occasion, or glasses of wine when we are there to pickup. A great vibe is half the reason I visit.Price: Middle of the road, just slightly on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. Small family shop, probably barely breaks even, things cost a lot. Expect $30 - $50 for a bottle. Some of the best olives I have ever had as I do not normally like olives, but again, costly at $15 (worth it to me). More TLC than most.Wine: Quality is good (its not superb, but I am not paying $100 a bottle either). Definitely worth a visit if you are traveling to the area, this is one of the Ramona wineries I prefer.“
“Dark, loud, and divey with cold beer and fantastic burgers! A favorite post-hike treat for us on a weekend afternoon. I can't attest for the night scene, but during daylight hours you will usually find a scattering of locals and possibly a few bikers taking a break from their ride back from Julian. My favorite burger is the Juicy Lucy - always delicious and dripping with toppings and cheese. Pair that with a cold beer and dome tater tots, and i'm in heaven!“
“Delicious breakfast and excellent service. We were in a bit of a hurry and we let them know and they got us in and out in 30 minutes! Definitely get a cinnamon roll to go. Definitely don't get one per person, they are gigantic! One feeds at least 4 people. Probably better there, served warm, if you have room in your stomach. I took half of my breakfast burrito to go it was so much food!“
“The overall joy of yogurt is topped at this location. The yogurt choices are always great, toppings aplenty with vast choices and the staff are WONDERFUL! They could benefit from having a more cozy seating layout, however. They have the potential for being a go-to place for sitting back in comfort to visit with friends, but it is a bit too sparse and 'cold' for that.“
“What a pleasant experience we had at the Barn! not only the first time, but we have now been returning customers, the Food and drinks are always a huge hit! We have not had a dish we didn't like. I highly recommend the tortilla soup!!Parking: Huge lotKid-friendliness: Great options“
“Recommend stopping by Vina Ramona! They have delicious red and white wines on the tasting menu. Some of our favorite were the Ramona Red and Neglect. Nice spacious, lush outdoor seating area with shade umbrellas and a unique indoor tasting area with a vintage vibe.“
