“After trying poke in several different places, I was still searching for one spot that really stood out—and I finally found it. Jus’ Poke completely exceeded my expectations and is easily one of the best poke places I've visited.

The fish was incredibly fresh, the ingredients were high quality, and every bite tasted balanced and flavorful. You can tell they focus on doing things properly rather than cutting corners. The portions were generous, and there were plenty of options to customize a bowl exactly the way you like it.

What made the experience even better was the staff. Everyone was welcoming, patient, and genuinely friendly. It's the kind of place where you immediately feel like a valued customer rather than just another order in line.

I brought family members with very different tastes, including someone who is notoriously difficult to impress when it comes to food, and everyone left happy. That's probably the strongest recommendation I can give.

One of my favorite things about this spot is its location. Grab a bowl to go, head toward the water, and enjoy a meal outdoors while watching the sunset. Great food, great people, and an overall fantastic experience. I'll definitely be back again and again.”

“Went to Yamashiro for the first time today! I have to say this is probably one of the best sushi places I have ever been to. The fried oysters were delicious! We ordered three different rolls and all of them were just beautiful from a presentation and artistry perspective, but tasting them was even better! The volcano roll was served on grapefruit slices, which made them very colorful and the scallops were cooked perfectly. The Yamashara roll was not only beautiful but it's the first time I have ever had mango with my sushi rolls and it actually added a really nice dimension of tropical fruit to already super fresh tasting tuna and avocado. The crispy roll had fried onions that were somehow not greasy, which was surprising. I'm wondering if they were air fried? But really great addition to texture for the rolls. We also had the yellowtail collar, which was cooked flawlessly. Oftentimes, yellowtail collar can you overcooked so part of it can be fairly dry. This caller was moist all the way around, perfect pockets of fish fat, and a very light unami salty flavor. The last thing we had, which I think was very fortunate because they don't always have it, was the Japanese tuna Ono which was cooked in a wonderful miso sauce.

I know I keep going on about this spot, but these rules were truly unique and I eat a lot of sushi, lol! Did I mention that we had a wonderful server, which I didn't get her name, but she's a Japanese woman that may have been the owner. I'm not sure, but her spirit was so respectful and refreshing and we loved her kindness and attentiveness. Really great service! I can't wait to go here again next time I visit the Redondo Beach area!!!”

“We ended up at Lozio Osteria Pizzeria Bar completely by accident. My friends and I were looking for a new place to celebrate my birthday, somewhere we hadn’t been before, and this turned out to be such a great find.

Honestly, all the food was absolutely delicious. The truffle fries were especially amazing. We finished them so quickly that we had to order another round.

We had bruschetta, a charcuterie board, Caesar salad, fettuccine bolognese, and carbonara, and everything was spot on. For dessert, we ordered a pistachio cake. The portions were perfect for a group of five girls, and we left happy and full.

The cocktails were also great, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

And the service really made the experience. Our waiter had such a great sense of humor, kept joking with us, and truly lifted the whole mood of the evening.”

“My friend and I really enjoyed eating at the Green temple. The food was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There are many vegan options among the vegetarian options They serve. I had the burger which was great along with the cornbread which is not like traditional cornbread but a grainy or heartier, healthier feeling version of cornbread , served with vegan or regular butter, and maple syrup or honey.
The desserts were excellent! I had the peanut butter chocolate pie and the Macadamia chocolate pie (yes, I love chocolate).
The only drawback is finding parking which is indicative of that area in general and not a fault of the restaurant. I would also like to stress how friendly and helpful the staff was. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and answer any questions we had. Excellent service all around. I highly recommend this restaurant for a healthy bite any time of the day!”

Last weekend, I was looking for a quick bite in Redondo Beach and came across this place right on my way to the beach. Decided to grab some take-out, and it was absolutely amazing!

The chicken was perfectly cooked all the way through(which is rare these days since a lot of places leave it undercooked inside) but here, the meat was still incredibly juicy and tender, not dry at all.

I ordered the regular wings, and they had a nice little kick to them, but definitely not too spicy. Honestly, this is hands down the best take-out food to grab before heading down to the beach

We ordered a bunch of food Togo and while we waited, we were served whole crispy tortillas with the best restaurant salsa I've had. Not too salty, just the right amount of heat and overall a very good flavor. We ordered two ground beef crispy tacos and two shredded chicken crispy tacos. I have to say that the chicken tacos were the tastiest in the South Bay. My husband thought his ground beef tacos were excellent. We'll definitely put Mi Burrito one our short list of restaurants we go to.”

Usually the workers are inside in the kitchen area so there’s a red bell you need to ring for them to come out and take your order. Portions and prices are great. I got mine to go and it was delicious. Ask for the daily menu. Mine was rice soup with green peas, carrot and beef, rice, beans and grilled chicken breast and sweet plantains. I also got the patacon (green fried plantain) with shredded beef on top. It was so delicious and juicy. The mango juice was so good and made with fruit I could taste the mango, I love Lulo

After speaking with the owner and later, two baristas, I learned the reason Kaffeine’s drinks are so tasty: Kaffeine’s beans are roasted in house with a Bellwether roaster. The beans freshness and the barista’s skills combined made my drinks sublime. I can’t wait for my next visit when I’m in the area again. Kaffeine made a very positive impression on me!”

“Best mango sorbet I have ever had, it’s a hidden gem because I wouldn’t have realized it’s worth coming here over the ice cream shop next door if it weren’t for passersby eating their sorbet. It’s made from real fruit and does not taste like there is added sugar (even though there may be). Will be coming back here every time”

A massive shoutout to Enrique, too—he’s the one behind those legendary fresh salsas! You can tell everything is made fresh daily. The tomatillo salsa is a must-try, and the chipotle salsa is perfectly seasoned with just the right kick.
