“Wowwww! I used to come here (to get a break from pizza) when I worked at Pedone’s and I’d get a sushi burrito every single time. Well, 10 years later and it is JUST as good if not better. I can’t wait to come back AGAIN.”
“Food was excellent.. couple items came out we’re not hot.. would return & refer friends😬👍🏼”
“Love this spot! Bartender was great and atmosphere is upscale, classy and sophisticated-great when you wanna stay in Hermosa but get away from the Pier!”

“Great lobster roll and even though the margarita is agave wine rather than tequila, very tasty! Highly recommend”
“I went last night for my BDay and I had such a great experience. The staff Amazing! Great Recommendations, The drinks and food good. The lobster roll needed a little seasoning but overall I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Hard to find parking and it’s not a big place(just the type of area). I’m going back for the New Orleans Oyster ALONE 😋!”

“It looks like most of the poke here, with the exception of the California roll (imitation crab) and tofu poke, use the same type of fish. Everything is well seasoned and delicious. We ordered two regular portions and were quite full.
I ordered the Hawaiian chili flake & Spicy with white rice and Grandma's pickles. She went with the Shoyu and Spicy with Grandma's pickles and opted to for the seaweed salad. Be aware there is upcharge of you decide to opt out of rice.
The love to get into this place was about to minutes. The staff is friendly and fast. There is a small counter and some tables right outside to eat at but it seems like most people take it to go. They will start running out of choices so get there early.”
“Went to South Bay Pizza for lunch today and was so happy I did. I ordered the PCH Pesto Personal Pizza, it was delicious as well as the caesar salad, the homemade croutons made it really tasty and super good. Luis is the coolest guy & made sure my lunch was tops. Big shout out & I will be going back again soon.”
“Food was fresh with just the right spices. So many selections to choose from. Will definitely be returning. Nice to see how the outdoor area has been made children and dog friendly (even though we had none).”
“Such a great location, friendly staff, very clean and the live music NEVER disappoints! We always plan time for stop at New Starboard Attitude when we visit Redondo Beach!”
Outdoor Dining
“The owners here are really nice, and the coffee is top notch. Do not sleep on the Vanilla Bean latte and the egg salad toast.
Also, I appreciate that they don't charge much extra for non-dairy milk- only $0.25 (a lot of places around here charge an extra dollar). Well worth the visit!”

“What a treasure! Authentic French pastry delights. Try the savory ones — especially the Curry Ground Beef. Enjoy a stroll around the beachside Riviera Village corner of Redondo Beach, then reward yourself with homemade treats from this family run bakery. Small businesses like this are gems to find and a joy to support.”
“Pasta is so fresh!! Everyone is so sweet!!! Love this place!!! You need to try everything on menu!! It's so yummy!!”
“Had the best time celebrating our friends Birthday. Great drinks with some amazing dance music from Tres Hombres. Really nice crowd. Would recommend this fine establishment to anyone”

“Amazing vegan menu. 💕 definitely worth a visit. Will stop in next time we are in town.”
“Working from out of town and was craving some good chicken. Found this place and will be a for sure place I go to when I am out this way. I got the spicy original wings since it was my first time I got 8 just to see how i would like them and they did not dissappoint. The size of the wings were big I filled up on 5 and normally I can eat a lot. I got a side of fries with some ranch and their secret sauce (wasn’t my favorite) as well the hot spicy sauce (was delicious). Can’t wait to try more on the menu. First time having Korean chicken. Totally recommend this place.”
“Nice place for breakfast. Not to busy and service was great. A little pricey.”
“Everything was great. Food and service. Disappointed to see a family feeding the large dog from their plates. Just like to have a nice dinner with seeing a dog at every place you go.”

“Sleepy Seal is such a gem of a coffee shop – cozy, warm, and full of character. The space has an artistic touch that makes it feel unique and inviting, and the staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming. I tried the oat milk latte, and it was absolutely amazing – smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. A great spot to relax with good coffee and good vibes.”
“Went for my birthday and I showed up like 20 minutes before closing time. I fully expected them to turn me away but to my surprise they welcomed me in warmly. I proceeded to spend almost $100 worth of pancakes because they are just that good. What a place! I'll be coming here till I'm bed-ridden. But then maybe I'll just order delivery!”
“I discovered Jade Snow located at the King Harbor pier in Redondo Beach while biking on the path along the sand near the ocean. Initially, I tried their smoothies and then the various fresh fruit dishes including the MACHA, ACAI, and the DRAGON. The fruits were always fresh, the presentation always appealing, and the taste always gratifying. The staff are friendly and bring my order to me, rather than call my order number and hand it to me over the counter.
Jade Snow has been a fantastic place for me to stop by, get tasty / healthy nutrition, and refresh on my cycling route.”
“I stopped by early in the morning to grab some lunch and ordered two fish tacos and two shrimp tacos. The shrimp tacos were made to perfection—fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right—but the fish tacos actually stood out even more, easily the highlight of my meal. The only small downside was the special sauce, which slightly overpowered the natural flavors of the tacos.
They serve fresh chips and salsa with your meal, and the salsa leans on the spicier side, but it’s packed with great flavor. The restaurant itself is spotless—super clean, almost immaculate—and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.
The only thing that feels a bit off is the location, which seems tucked away and not as visible as other spots. That said, the food and customer service are absolutely top-notch, and I’ll definitely be visiting again whenever I’m in the area.”
“A Must-visit!! Highly recommended for some of the highest quality food and service!”

“I’ve driven by this place a hundred times but finally had the opportunity to eat here… how did I not do this sooner?!?! Wow! I got the “jr burrito” and it was 2 meals worth. I had the shredded beef wet burrito and it was fantastic! Great flavor, perfect mix of ingredients, and it was quick! Love this place, definitely coming again!”
“My husband and I loved the Philly cheesesteaks! We met the owner, Sergio, and his wife. They are the sweetest couple! The food was delicious and the friendly interactions were great. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a filling meal and a reasonable price! We got two Philly cheesesteaks, one with fries and the other with potato salad, and a large fountain drink to share. Total was $33. They had just enough jalapeños to give that spice, but not too many that it was distracting from the other ingredients. Come check them out!”
“I've been ordering from Bamboo forever, and after taking a short break, I placed an order for the first time in a couple of months. They accidentally got my noodle order wrong, but the moment they realized it, they rushed the correct one over right away. Hands down the best Thai food I’ve ever had—they’re number one in my book!”
“A barebones juice and healthy shake bar with bright and friendly cashiers.
I ordered the Greek Coffee (coffee, figs, dates, cardamom, cacao, banana and almond milk) and would give it an 8/10. The flavors could be better balanced to let the almond and banana shine more than the dates.
Prices are definitely steep but the portions are generous. I could’ve easily split my $15 shake with someone else.”
“Absolutely friendly staff. The owner/manager, Chris, reminds me of the actor August Schellenburg who played Randolph in the movie "Free Willy." I absolutely love their Poke Plate 🍽️ with Mixed Greens! That & a banana 🍌 strawberry 🍓 smoothie 🥤is my favorite go to meal! I give it a 10 Star ⭐✨ Rating!”
“Came in tonite every thing was great Our server was great aswell food excellent will be back”
“Had a great lunch date with my husband...this is a cute little place with so many options to choose from. We finally decided on uni pasta, which was tasty but wish the uni flavor was stronger. I wanted to try the Bolognese but it didn't seem very Japanese, and now I want to come back and try it! There's some lunch specials and happy hour prices during lunch. Maybe we'll come back with the kids!”

“Chart House Crew did a super job in hosting us for a surprise Birthday Luncheon for my Fiancée. She was so happy to spend time with families and close friends, and to celebrate together. Chart House went above and beyond to accommodate our group size, gave us the best view of the Redondo Beach, served tasty food, even to our kiddos. Michael Walsh was a phenomenal Restaurant Coordinator, he saw the vision I had, and made the whole experience and dining remarkable and memorable. I would highly recommend dining at Chart House on any given occasion. You will enjoyed your dining experience!”

“We decided to sit in the patio because the noise level was off the charts inside. It was VERY noisy inside. Our party of 4 all enjoyed our meals. Appreciated the free surf and turf for the birthday girl! The crème brûlée cheesecake was to die for! Plan to go back again!”
“We had an amazing experience here on Friday November 15th. Our server Lora gave us an amazing experience. On a scale of 1-10 I’ll give the whole experience a 10. Had a fantastic time with awesome ambiance on the Pacific Ocean. Enjoyed a fabulous memory with life long friends. Highly recommend .”

“Great new neighborhood coffee shop with some wonderful baked goods.. the foam here is so thick and rich it should be illegal. They have a really nice patio facing PCH to sit and enjoy your beverages. The vibe here is very relaxed and there are plenty of other shops to check out in the beautiful newly renovated shopping center located just north of Chase bank on PCH and Torrance Blvd. With custom drinks and pasty option that are very unique and delicious Tot coffee is a must try for all the coffee explorers in Redondo Beach.”

“We really enjoyed our coffee and breakfast options at Meravalley Coffee Roasters. We were vacationing near by and came back each morning to enjoy a latte and homemade yogurt/granola parfait. The service was excellent and the coffee/food had great taste/flavor. And we sat at the window seat and enjoyed the beautiful views. We will definitely come back when we are in the area!”
“First time here -- Great spot! Love the layout, staff was super attentive, beer was good. They had a burger vendor out front making smash burgers, the football games were on with a large projection onto the wall. They have an area where kids can hang, shoot hoops, and play video games and board games. Best part for me was the Kambucha on tap! Definitely will be back”
“PLEASE EXPAND TO ARIZONA (Phoenix or Scottsdale would be perfect!) 😭 you would do so good out here- there’s no unlimited topping açaí place out here and none of the açaí is half as good as yours and no one has as many options! This is a must stop when I go back to Redondo to visit. I love the base flavor choices and the toppings, highly recommend layering flavors and adding the chia pudding!! Everything is fresh and delicious and the price is great for what you get!”
“Just had my first Buddha Boy Meal from Trusted Gut Brewery (Former King Harbor Brewery Location) in Redondo Beach. I got my food to-go. I ordered the Carne Asada Mulitas and the Pulled Chicken Quesadilla with 2 orders of rice and beans. The tortillas were soft and fresh. The main meals were delicious, with good servings. I asked for the medium and hot salsa. Both had decent heat, but the heat brought tears to my eyes, but not in a bad way. They said they are at Trusted Gut every Sunday. My highest compliment, whether I'm talking about food or beer, is I will definitely be back. Just so you know: The brewery has a great vibe and plays my kind of music.”
“From the moment I walked into Kaffeine Coffee Bar in Redondo Beach, I knew I’d found a new favorite spot. The aroma of freshly roasted beans hits you the second you step in, and the space has that perfect balance of cozy and modern that makes you want to stay awhile.
I started with an espresso, rich, balanced, and perfectly pulled, and followed it with their cold brew, which was smooth, bold, and had zero bitterness. You can tell the baristas here really care about the craft. And the pastries? Absolutely fantastic. They’re from Sweet Wheat, one of my favorites, and you can taste the difference: buttery, fresh, and just the right sweetness.
The atmosphere is relaxed but elevated: lots of natural light, comfortable seating, and a friendly staff that knows how to keep things moving while still making you feel welcome. It’s a great spot whether you’re meeting someone, catching up on emails, or just enjoying a quiet morning.
What stood out most is that everything here feels intentional. The quality of the beans, the presentation, even the playlist in the background. Kaffeine doesn’t try too hard; it just delivers excellent coffee, amazing pastries, and a neighborhood vibe that keeps you coming back.
If you’re in or around Redondo Beach and love good coffee, this place deserves a permanent spot on your rotation. Five stars all the way.”
“Please do not go to the address listed on Google Maps or waste your time calling the associated phone number! I Repeat! If you paid for tix, ensure you get an appropriate email or text from the establishment or DM the Instagram account in advance until you find out the actual location... I unfortunately did not get any proper notice of where this was leading me to disturb an angry woman in a residential neighborhood. I was thus late and made others wait for me because I had to figure out where to go through sending Instagram DMs.
Otherwise, it is was a unique Coffee Omakase experience done with good intentions. Feel your hands cradle the ceramic and glass. Savor the aroma and flavor.”
“Last year, I stood in a 40-minute line here, only to be rewarded with… absolutely nothing. They’d run out of food by noon, and the the crowd looked like an angry mob, without pitchforks. I swore I’d never return.
Fast forward to this week: I’m nearby, it’s 12 PM on a Wednesday, and—plot twist—they actually had food. No line. No angry mob. Just a sleek, cozy space that seats about 20–25, and a surprisingly calm vibe.
I tried the signature Mou (cinnamon roll flavor), apple focaccia, and raspberry pain suisse. All tasty, none life-changing. The raspberry pain suisse won the pastry popularity contest.
Would they be better microwaved for 10 seconds? Probably.
Still, friendly staff + smoother operations = I’ll be back. Mou (raspberry jam & whip) and chocolate croissant, you’re next.”
“Excellent, authentic, VERY Japanese sushi. No firecracker shrimp rolls. If you want that kinda thing, go back to Hermosa.”
