“Such a great location, friendly staff, very clean and the live music NEVER disappoints! We always plan time for stop at New Starboard Attitude when we visit Redondo Beach!”
“The staff is very attentive, but not overwhelming. The sashimi is buttery soft and generously cut. Delicious, but a tad on the pricey side. However, for great quality, it was worth it.”

“What a treasure! Authentic French pastry delights. Try the savory ones — especially the Curry Ground Beef. Enjoy a stroll around the beachside Riviera Village corner of Redondo Beach, then reward yourself with homemade treats from this family run bakery. Small businesses like this are gems to find and a joy to support.”

“We love Hudson House! It's a neighborhood gem! Great food, good vibe and awesome staff! It's good for kids, a date, dining solo or with friends. Highly recommend! Get the ribs and the salty dawgy!!”

“I went last night for my BDay and I had such a great experience. The staff Amazing! Great Recommendations, The drinks and food good. The lobster roll needed a little seasoning but overall I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Hard to find parking and it’s not a big place(just the type of area). I’m going back for the New Orleans Oyster ALONE 😋!”
“By far, my favorite steakhouse in the South Bay. The Rex offers the best food, service, and ambiance in Redondo Beach and beyond. The appetizers are incredible, including the newly released French Onion Soup, Captain's Shrimp, and the Bluefin Tuna with its citrus flavor. The salads are terrific too - my favorite is the Caesar. And if you get the bread, make sure to dab a bit of the butter on it. Yes, it's gluttonous, but you're welcome! For entrees, you can't go wrong with the steaks, including the filet and ribeye (my faves), especially with the Point Reyes blue cheese or chimichurri. The quality of the meat is better than anything around, and the sear, seasoning, and woody flavors are incredible. If you don't want steak, I have to recommend the tagliatelle pasta in duck ragu, which is probably my favorite dish on the entire menu. It bears repeating: if you haven't had their tagliatelle, go back and try it. It's unbelievable. The swordfish with risotto, the branzino, the short rib, and even the burger are all amazing. To cap dinner off, get the butter cake - it's hands down the best you'll ever have anywhere. The staff is experienced and friendly. If you go here, you'll be amidst a ton of regulars and for good reason - this is a favorite and will be yours soon too!”
“We were staying next door while down from Canada. The food here is top notch and the cost can not be beat. 3 meals (one was just rice because; kids are difficult) for under $50 is hard to say no to. The owner is a sweetheart and made sure we had a great experience, even joking around with us.
A must try spot.”
“Had the best time celebrating our friends Birthday. Great drinks with some amazing dance music from Tres Hombres. Really nice crowd. Would recommend this fine establishment to anyone”
“My favorite restaurant in South Bay LA. Grass-fed beef. Organic produce from farmer's markets. Fabulous wine list featuring small, organic & biodynamic producers. Plus a great value! Gotta love PSP Steak!”

“Sleepy Seal is such a gem of a coffee shop – cozy, warm, and full of character. The space has an artistic touch that makes it feel unique and inviting, and the staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming. I tried the oat milk latte, and it was absolutely amazing – smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. A great spot to relax with good coffee and good vibes.”
“Serendipitously, I saw information about this place when I was randomly scrolling online.
The food was excellent. I ordered two items to go, the avocado toast and a breakfast burrito. (I should have taken pictures because the items were beautifully presented in addition to being delicious! 🤓)
Beautiful atmosphere. The decor is inviting. Very clean.
It fulfilled and then exceeded my expectations.”
“We recently catered a birthday party w/Casa Playa. It was pretty short notice, 3 days, but they really made our party perfect! I called and Alathena helped walk me through the menu to choose just the right amount of food. They provided the buffet racks and the sterno (saved me a couple of trips looking for them). Everything was delivered exactly on time and hot! They even provided signs to make choosing easier. The food was DE-Licious!! Crispy tacos were awesome as were the enchiladas. Our guests kept raving about the food even the next day. If you need catering, call them! They’re terrific, easy to work with and very accommodating. Thank you Alathena! LC”
“Food was delicious first time here will definitely stop by when visiting my family highly recommend only down side is parking small back parking lot highly recommend parking on other side i think it front parking back is a little narrow especially for trucks you can fit it's just my opinion best to park in front”
“We had an amazing experience here on Friday November 15th. Our server Lora gave us an amazing experience. On a scale of 1-10 I’ll give the whole experience a 10. Had a fantastic time with awesome ambiance on the Pacific Ocean. Enjoyed a fabulous memory with life long friends. Highly recommend .”
“I’m a vegetarian, and I was really happy to find this place nearby! I ordered the vegetarian burger and it was delicious flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming too. Definitely a great spot for plant based food!”
“It has really warm and comforting things to enjoy inside The Original Pancake House in Redondo Beach where I visited with someone. The place feels really lively and welcoming there in a way that teenagers would enjoy a lot. The pancakes and other foods that I ordered, like the fluffy stacks that looked almost cartoonish, didn’t cost anything extra beyond the menu price at all. By my surprise, the food looked completely picture‑perfect and fun even though it was just breakfast, which makes it perfect for teenagers who love taking photos of their meals. It is a new restaurant to me but I didn’t realize how much there was to enjoy there until I sat down inside. I really appreciated how easy it was to have fun eating there without feeling rushed. I never doubted that the experience was going to turn out the way I hoped it would. I only visited The Original Pancake House in Redondo Beach one time in my life before I made this review. It was one of the most enjoyable and comforting breakfast places I’ve been to in a long time, and I would highly recommend that even teenagers go there because it gives them a place to enjoy good food, take pictures, and feel relaxed. I saw a lot of other teenagers there during my visit, and it made the whole place feel even more teen‑friendly and inviting.”
“Wildflower Cafe was a great place to bring the family! I love that they have gluten free options which is important to us! We had a mix of breakfast and lunch. The kids enjoyed their gluten free pancakes and I had the Wildflower Arugula salad. It was so good and so fresh! Great atmosphere as well and we loved our server!”
“Came in tonite every thing was great Our server was great aswell food excellent will be back”
“Our Sunday night takeout meal of Roasted Chicken and Cheese, corn and bacon macaroni gratin was delicious. Paired with a nice French white wine, it was almost as good as eating at the restaurant. Looking forward to future offerings.”

“Very good Colombian Arepas and a Colombian who was with me gave their stamp of approval as well.
Arepa Montañera was my favorite and came loaded. I also enjoyed the Arepa with Pericos & Fresh Cheese.
Arepa Choclo also did not disappoint. It has a special sweet corn that gave it a mild sweet flavor that was subtle but very good.
The soursop drink was also good and you can taste real soursop in it.”
“Working from out of town and was craving some good chicken. Found this place and will be a for sure place I go to when I am out this way. I got the spicy original wings since it was my first time I got 8 just to see how i would like them and they did not dissappoint. The size of the wings were big I filled up on 5 and normally I can eat a lot. I got a side of fries with some ranch and their secret sauce (wasn’t my favorite) as well the hot spicy sauce (was delicious). Can’t wait to try more on the menu. First time having Korean chicken. Totally recommend this place.”
“When we want a fast-casual ramen option we come to Kotsu. They have several vegan ramen options, vegan gyoza (not quite as fried as I’d prefer but decent), garlic or regular edamame, and friendly service. A fair amount of seating and free parking in the garage or on the street.”
“I discovered Jade Snow located at the King Harbor pier in Redondo Beach while biking on the path along the sand near the ocean. Initially, I tried their smoothies and then the various fresh fruit dishes including the MACHA, ACAI, and the DRAGON. The fruits were always fresh, the presentation always appealing, and the taste always gratifying. The staff are friendly and bring my order to me, rather than call my order number and hand it to me over the counter.
Jade Snow has been a fantastic place for me to stop by, get tasty / healthy nutrition, and refresh on my cycling route.”
“The shrimp fajitas exceeded my expectations, especially for pier food. Spicy is the way to go, not too spicy but flavorful and a decent amount of shrimp even for the small size. Garlic bread was also great and way bigger than I expected. Would skip the fries next time but will definitely be back!”
“Nice place for breakfast. Not to busy and service was great. A little pricey.”

“Chart House Crew did a super job in hosting us for a surprise Birthday Luncheon for my Fiancée. She was so happy to spend time with families and close friends, and to celebrate together. Chart House went above and beyond to accommodate our group size, gave us the best view of the Redondo Beach, served tasty food, even to our kiddos. Michael Walsh was a phenomenal Restaurant Coordinator, he saw the vision I had, and made the whole experience and dining remarkable and memorable. I would highly recommend dining at Chart House on any given occasion. You will enjoyed your dining experience!”
“Our server Gabriel was amazing. Very attentive. The surf and turf and. the Bronzino were delicious. We had a wonderful evening. The only thing that I would add is that it's so appreciated that there are so many gluten-free options, but perhaps consider having a dessert available that is tasty and gluten-free.”
“we waited at least 30 mins after we sat down and they didn't even take our order. totally disorganized. we love Indian food and thought we would give this a go having tried Addis many times which is fantastic. 2 other groups of people walked out before we did who were also unable to place their orders. never again. 0/10.”

“This place is amazing. The decor, the lighting, the ambiance, it's perfect. The bartenders are great and the drinks are incredible. Do you want an actually good dirty Martini? They have one on the menu! The margaritas and (true) classic cocktails are great too. The music is top notch too with an in-house DJ on the days I've been there, but I will say it's too way too loud on the lounge side of the bar. The dance floor is small but poppin, but the lounge side is a bunch of people leaning too far forward in their chairs and attempting to scream at each other over the music. We left with sore throats just having normal conversation, lol. That's the only point to dock, please mildly adjust the sound system on the one side of the house.”
“I absolutely love Tot Coffee. Their blueberry cream matcha with oat milk is my favorite drink. It started as a seasonal item but might be on their menu permanently now. My coworker loves the Blue’s Clues signature latte, which has blueberry purée, peppermint, milk, and espresso, and my other coworker switches between the pour-over coffee and cappuccino.
I also love their pastries, especially the spinach pastry, baguette with jam, croissant, and pain au chocolat. Everything we have tried has been delicious.
You can tell the owner is very mindful, which makes for a consistently pleasant experience every time we visit. The drinks don’t change depending on who makes them, and I find comfort in that consistency. I love the café’s minimal but mindful aesthetic. I could sit there all day to work, read, or meet with friends or clients.
The café has a mellow and inviting vibe. They also host the No Bounds Run Club, which is very inclusive for both slower runners like me and faster runners. There is a group that runs 2.5 miles and another that runs 4.5 miles. They meet every Saturday at 7 a.m., and afterwards you get a password for a discount at the coffee shop. You don’t need to sign up, you can just show up. I’m not a consistent runner, but the No Bounds Run Club has made me more consistent because I love the reward of a yummy drink after the run, and I love that someone will walk with me without judgment if I don’t feel like running the whole time.
I love that Tot Coffee is not just a coffee shop but also building a community.”
“Unico Tokyo Pasta is a nice spot for a date night or a casual hangout with friends. The vibe and decoration are modern and relaxed, so it’s a comfortable place to sit and enjoy dinner. The pasta dishes are decent and taste good, but nothing really stands out as memorable. The staff is super friendly and gives good recommendations, but overall this is the type of place you try once and probably won’t think about going back again. The pasta prices are on the higher side, and the portions are just standard.
Quick tips:
You can make reservations through Google Maps, but the restaurant usually isn’t very packed at night.
There’s plenty of parking shared with the pizza place and nearby shops behind the restaurant, plus street parking.”
“We really enjoyed our coffee and breakfast options at Meravalley Coffee Roasters. We were vacationing near by and came back each morning to enjoy a latte and homemade yogurt/granola parfait. The service was excellent and the coffee/food had great taste/flavor. And we sat at the window seat and enjoyed the beautiful views. We will definitely come back when we are in the area!”
“First time here -- Great spot! Love the layout, staff was super attentive, beer was good. They had a burger vendor out front making smash burgers, the football games were on with a large projection onto the wall. They have an area where kids can hang, shoot hoops, and play video games and board games. Best part for me was the Kambucha on tap! Definitely will be back”
“What a fabulous restaurant and dining experience. The food and wine were spectacular, as was the service. The steak was delicious and presented well with a sauce that was flambe'd. The other diners in my party also loved what they had! Our server, Fili, was great as well!”
“Just had my first Buddha Boy Meal from Trusted Gut Brewery (Former King Harbor Brewery Location) in Redondo Beach. I got my food to-go. I ordered the Carne Asada Mulitas and the Pulled Chicken Quesadilla with 2 orders of rice and beans. The tortillas were soft and fresh. The main meals were delicious, with good servings. I asked for the medium and hot salsa. Both had decent heat, but the heat brought tears to my eyes, but not in a bad way. They said they are at Trusted Gut every Sunday. My highest compliment, whether I'm talking about food or beer, is I will definitely be back. Just so you know: The brewery has a great vibe and plays my kind of music.”
“PLEASE EXPAND TO ARIZONA (Phoenix or Scottsdale would be perfect!) 😭 you would do so good out here- there’s no unlimited topping açaí place out here and none of the açaí is half as good as yours and no one has as many options! This is a must stop when I go back to Redondo to visit. I love the base flavor choices and the toppings, highly recommend layering flavors and adding the chia pudding!! Everything is fresh and delicious and the price is great for what you get!”
“We drove 1.5 hours to get here and it was definitely worth the drive! Everything is delicious but, you have to try the Japanese style french toast!!!!! Everything is so fresh, it’s very clean including the bathrooms (us old ladies appreciate clean bathrooms 😂), indoor & outdoor seating, dog friendly and within walking distance to the beach. I felt like I was back in Japan. 🇯🇵”
“Excellent, authentic, VERY Japanese sushi. No firecracker shrimp rolls. If you want that kinda thing, go back to Hermosa.”
