“I eat at pollo loco most of the time since I am a driver and it seems to me to be one of the healthiest fast foods on the market in this location. It is the best pollo loco restaurant so far that I have visited and I have been to almost all the pollo locos in Los Ángeles, the incredible attention, the portions and the detail of ordering it the way I like it without being bothered. “My husband is from India, so we have eaten a lot of flavorful foods. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. We ordered the five taco plate and sides of corn, mom‘s beans, the vegetarian beans, potatoes with chorizo, corn, and rice. We also tried the coconut rose milk lime drink, and the cucumber salad . My husband, especially like the jeera chicken and corn. I loved the Carne Asada and goat tacos. The green sauce is fabulous. The fresh house made corn tortillas also really take the tacos to the next level. We really enjoyed our meal here. “This place was amazing. We came it with a group of 10, and we got set up with a table right away. They got our orders quickly, and then appetizers and food came out just as quick. However, the food was probably the best Korean fried chicken I have had in a long time. The sauce flavors were delicious, chicken was crunchy. Definitely have to try Korean BBQ , Lemon Pepper (dry), and the Sweet Chili Wings. Even the Bulgogi Pizza was great. Great little hole in the wall spot. They don't really have much of a space for sitting in and dining. So if you want to eat you need to go down one of the nearby alleyways and sit at the tables there.“

“My experience at Dave's hot chicken was good. The staff are extremely friendly and social and the atmosphere is warm and exiting with amazing outdoor seating. Me and my peer got a soft drink, fries, tenders, and a chicken slider all of them extra spicy. Extra spicy is like a 7/10 for me (my spice tolerance is kinda mid but better than the average). The fries and chicken were crunchy but the food is quite greasy. Chicken is heavily seasoned. We went finished the food at around 1 pm and our stomachs started hurting. Its 10:35 PM right now and my stomach still hurted. Both had an irritated stomachand I had to take medicine for the pain to go away. Overall, would reccomend to people that can take the spice and are enjoyers of heavily seasoned and greasy foods. However, people who cannot tolerate spice, grease, and HEAAAVILY seasons foods should not come here. Praying for anyone who's stomach gets upset by this chicken ????“

I cannot eat a ton of fried chicken on my own, but I saw that this restaurant had other dishes as well. I decided to come here and give bb.q Chicken a try.They had a free soda with Yelp check in. My wife got a diet coke, and I ordered water. The restaurant gives complimentary pickled radishes. The staff are very nice and friendly.My wife ordered the tteokbokki, whereas I got the kimchi fried rice. I was torn between the fried rice and the bulgogi poutine, but I also knew I wanted rice, so I got the kimchi fried rice. My wife and I shared our dishes. The tteokbokki was good, sweet and spicy. The rice cakes were a nice texture. The kimchi fried rice was also solid, but a bit spicy for me.Given how close it is to me, I will definitely come back in the future to try their fried chicken.“

The chicken pieces were very tender and juicy with a profound crispness. Overall a really delicious fried chicken meal and the garlic sauce took it to the top.The sweet potato fries were descent but wish there was some type of creamy sweet sauce to dip with it. The corn cheese was also delicious, very cheesy and sweet which complimented the fried chicken flavor.The fried squid was also good and a little too chewy for me but the flavor was there. We got two large rice, 1 beans and 1 coleslaw. Overall, the chicken was tasty and juicy. Btw, you can see the chicken being roasted via wood logs and not gas burners, which added flavor. The rice, beans, and tortillas were on point. The salsas were good. I never got to the salad, but it was your standard iceberg lettuce. All that fed 5 adults and 4 kids with leftovers. I recommend giving this place a try. I will be back when I have a rotisserie chicken kick and need to feed the entire family for well under a Ben.“

“Legends hot chicken is the best hot chicken I've had. I've been eating here for years now the thighs are mind blowing. So flavourful and moist just a straight mouthwatering experience. I recommend getting medium or lower I got the second spiciest flavor once and it was tear wrenching. Either way if the food is to spicy they have phenomenal shaved ice. It melts in your mouth immediately and has great flavor.“

“Dined in at 2pm on a Friday and there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant. I was greeted by the worker at the register. She asked if I was dining in or take out and I told her "dine in." I was seated and given the menu, plates, utensils, and even pickled radish right away. I took some time to study the menu and both workers checked in to see if I wanted any recommendations. One of the guys was very knowledgeable about the wing sauces and the menu but I didn't get his name. Eventually I gave them my order and I waited about 5 minutes and my food came out one at a time. Cheesling Fries (9/10) - The cheese powder on the fries were amazing! It wasn't too overpowering or too cheesy. The fries were hot and crispy. They even drizzle it in the secret sauce. It was very well balanced together. Rose Ddeok-Bokki (8/10) - The first few bites tasted like it needed more seasoning and flavor. The more I ate it, the better it got. It was not spicy for me and it was a great combination of creamy with a small but of tang. The rice cakes were soft and chewy. It was also very delicious overall.Secret Sauce Wings (8.5/10) - The chicken wings were very fresh. The batter was still crispy and the sauce was sweet, tangy, and sticky. It reminded me of my favorite childhood Chinese dish, Peking Pork Chop or sweet and sour pork chop. It did get soggy once the wings sat too long. Soy Garlic Wings (7.5/10) - The soy flavor overpowered the garlic in these wings but overall a really solid choice. The wings were also hot and crispy with a sweet and salty sauce. Overall, the food is 8/10. The service was 10/10. They checked in with me at least every 10-15 minutes. They gave me napkins without asking for it. I had a very pleasant experience!“

“I had the 1/2 chicken plate (#2) for lunch today, 04/25/2023, about 12:50p. No one else was in line which worried me at first. The cashier was speaking to the two males in the kitchen, but quickly addressed me and asked what I wanted. She clarified #1 or #2 as they both are 1/2 chicken plates, one with rice and beans, one w/o. I wanted the later. $8.81 total, not bad. I watched as the younger male pulled out a spit, pulled off a whole chicken and cut it in half. He put that half into a to go container, the other half want onto a try and back into the rotisserie oven. The cashier finished fixing my order and I was out. Less than 5 minutes total. Plus 1 star. The chicken was still piping hot when I opened the container, some 5 minutes after. It was juicy, and pulled from bones easily. The taste was good, like most rotisserie chicken, with hints of salt, paprika, and pepper. I don't believe they marinated it with any flavors, but likely brined cu it was juicy. The #2 came with tortillas and salsa, that's it and that is they way I like it. Tortillas were good and hot, likely NOT homemade, but soft and provide the perfect ride for the chicken and salsa. I'd go back as this place was clean, fresh (for rotisserie) and had fast service. In the waist land that is Huntington Park/Walnut Park this is a good spot.“
