“A no frills dumpling house. Staff is friendly and attentive, food is fresh and delicious.
Great for large groups or solo
Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy to navigate if mobility is a challenge. Wide open floor.”
“The building and location are a little sketchy, but everything else is excellent. Small, very intimate atmosphere. Not much privacy. Menu options are simple. Food is fresh and worth the price. Even the sides, like house salad, miso soup, and hot sake, are quality.”

“As a native of Taiyuan, Shanxi, I highly recommend this restaurant. The taste is very authentic. I especially recommend the fried pork, oatmeal noodles, and cat ear noodles.”
“We had a lovely dinner that comprised of stir fried garlic Lobster with noodles, crab fish maw soup, fresh steamed giant shrimp, fresh steamed cod, cubed beef, scallop, egg fried rice, and pea shoots. They had a special on the lobster so pricing was very reasonable. We have been here multiple times for dinner and will continue to come.”

“I randomly discovered the place for Ban Xeo. Quite an interesting dish. It is very crispy. You wrap each bite with the lettuce.
I am new to it, so my table was a bit of a mess.
The owner, a guy, spoke english. That’s good.
There was a sign that says they’ll take credit card, but charge a $1 fee. I think that’s a bit steep.
There’s ample parking at the back.”

“Service was fast, friendly and very helpfull....food was also great by the way. I came on a weekend and it was very busy and had to wait but still was well worth it.”
“Closed to home 25 miles but better than go to Santa Ana 45 miles. Food taste 3.9 Cleanness 4 Atmosphere 3.9 Huge place, clean and perfect bathroom”

“Highly commendable service and absolutely stunning set menu! we went here for dinner last night for our Halloween date night! Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. They serve the meats fast plus your tablet menu is in front of you so you don't have to keep calling the staff to refill. I give them 9 stars! 🌟 🐄 🥩”
“In Rosemead after going to Walmart, we ate out here for breakfast. Checking out the new place and how the food was well-cooked and delicious, and portions were sensible, not over the top. The members of staff who looked after us on consecutive and were really nice - attentive without being overbearing. This is a obviously a well -run branch of Dennys with good chefs, and friendly staff resulting in happy customers. We also thought this was pretty good value for money, considering the current state of many families”
“This place is such a hole in the wall, would honestly come back. This place been around for a while but I never know this place exist because it’s so hidden. The service is a bit slow when prepping the food, but their tacos are to die for. I would come back any day for tacos!Parking lot is shared with other shops but not too busy! The menu is consistent and so is their food!Would come back again! Don’t let the small shop and sketchy look deceive you!”
“We had a large party dining here and they were very accommodating for such a large crowd. The service was fine and the dishes were excellent. Unlike other Chinese food restaurants that taste as though the same sauce is used on all of the dishes, Here the sauces were varied and delicious. The portions were large and everyone enjoyed their meal. I never saw the final bill so I can't comment on bang for your buck.
Will go back again without reservation
Kid-friendliness: Three kids were in our group and they had their own colorful bowls and utensils.”
“Neighbors Tea House offers the most exception beverages and sweet treats, like their Smashed Avocado and Durian and soy pudding. I’m still making my way through their menu but there hasn’t been anything I’ve ordered that I didn’t wish I ordered a large of. Their team is exceptional, especially during COVID. You can order online to expedite your experience. Be sure to say hi to Hailey, the owner, who always comes up with these amazing beverages. Will definitely be back!”
“This location is always busy. I usually come here before 5 p m Because I hate waiting in line. Regardless if I get lucky or not, the food here never disappoints. Endless salad and breadsticks. Good meatball and shrimp appetizer is fantastic. The pasta plates large enough to always have leftovers at home and service is fast. My new favorite drink is the apple sangria, soooo good. It's made from Moscato and is nice take on the bitter normal sangria.
Parking: This location is in the Montebello mall lot.
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu provided”
“Staff is very courteous . clean inside . About the food it’s delicious . The lemon grass chicken is excellent . The bang-Xeon dish is also excellent . .”
“There is a language barrier it you do not speak Mandarin, but the portions are large for their price, the food is delicious and authentic, and the staff are very kind and cooperative; would 100% recommend!”

“This is a small independent shop that only does take out. Nothing fancy.
I came on a Sunday and the parking was packed. There are other shops and a supermarket as well. People do park and go rather quickly, though.
If you spend more than $20, you won't be charged a $1 fee. They only accept mastercard and visa; otherwise, pay cash.
Dim sum items are typically under $5. They sell other items/dishes for more and also specialty drinks.
I ordered $58 worth of dim sum and tried some in the car. I was happy with my order.
If you like cheap and decent dim sum, this place is it. Customers seem to love this place. There was a long line when I was here, and they kept refilling the food trays quickly.”

“It was actually much better than most critics reviews I saw lately. The environment is good and the services are excellent. Their meats and dishes are very fresh but not on the cheap side. Overall good experience and will come back.”
“For a big group they would ask to get the “more private” table but it has a min purchase of $400. Make sure to call them for reservation, especially on weekend during lunch time. Best service since the staff kept offering us a new plates which is super rare to have such a service in other restaurants.”
24 Hour Restaurants
“My first visit here was just a quick stop for a drink and a bathroom break. The layout and overall appearance were exactly what you'd expect from a typical McDonald's—clean and familiar. However, I do have to mention the bathrooms were a letdown. They felt cramped, weren’t very clean, and lacked proper ventilation, which made for an unpleasant smell. Aside from that, it was a fairly standard McDonald's experience, but the restroom situation could definitely use improvement.”
“Staff was absolutely helpful and kind! The Decor and table set ups looked beautiful and family friendly. We ordered the Chow Fun with Veggies and the House Special Prawns. Chow fun was perfect! When I say it was the best prawns I’ve ever had, it was the best prawns I’ve ever had. They have something special here and I would recommend 10/10.”
“La vie will definitely exceed your expectations being that it is a small unassuming restaurant in the not so boosie edge of South San Gabriel. Delicious escargo and a wide variety of desserts. My favorite the fresh fruit sabyon have sadly taken off the menu for some reason. The vietnamese family that owns it takes great pride in they're cooking and Mastered the art in France. The newer heavyset hostess guy (sorry if i misused the pronoun) is kinda rude and Absolutely dreaded and contested my cash payment due to the pandemic.”
“Longo Seafood serves up some tasty dim sum with solid flavors and good value. The Pork Offal Congee was a standout—rich, flavorful, and very affordable, which my parents really enjoyed. The Pork and Century Egg Congee was also good, though the portion was noticeably smaller. The Roast Pork was a highlight, with incredibly crispy skin that added the perfect crunch.
Overall, the food was delicious, though portion sizes varied. A great spot for dim sum, and we’ll definitely be back!”
Takeout Restaurants
“My FAVORITE acai place! Perfect for lunch on a hot day! So yummy, healthy, and pretty! I love that they have a low sugar acai too and both matcha and original chia pudding! Lots of great toppings! I usually pre order via app and pick up but wanted to use my free ones so ordered in store! Check out the assembly! So cool. Edna has mad knife skills! Service is always excellent! — at Acai Joint Rosemead.”
“This establishment is Very clean & neat.
First time trying Japanese style cheesecake & Omgee it was amazing.
They had a tester one available and gosh it was amazing.
I ordered the original Japanese style cheesecake & Iced Brown Sugar latte with Salted cheese foam
(To be completely honest the latte isn’t anything unique or special.
Taste was blend for me.
BUT the cheese, very delicious.
I did have to wait an additional 10 mins or so for the cheesecake because it wasn’t ready & the logo machine wasn’t ready for a press so my Cheesecake has no logo / design.
I was offered a discount due to the inconvenience but didn’t receive it (lol)
The packaging is just beautiful, great quality🤍
Overall I will be coming back for the other cheesecake flavors.
(& hopefully I receive the discount I was promised LOL)”
“The menudo here is really good. 👌
The only thing that I noticed is that they do not add a lot of meat. It has more soup than meat 😅. But i guess, in a way, it's better. A little bit less carbs and calories is good for the health. 😁
The steak and shrimp 🍤 dish is delicious. And the agua de fresa is great.
I appreciate the service here 🙏. Thank you.”
“Best of rosemead😇 Fresh and Healthy”
“LOVEDDDD the red chili oil wontons! LOVED. I always try this dish where restaurants serve it in hopes of finding the ONE style I like - here it’s very close to the Din Tai Fung style with less sugar and a better price. They also use a good handmade wonton with delicious filling. A lot of places mess up on their use of wontons and sauce.
LOVED the lamb noodle soup!! I generally love lamb across the board, and they do it really well here - clear broth style, hand made noodles, no gamey taste/smell (so my mom says as she can be more sensitive to it). Greaaat price.”
“If you want to grab quick onigiri, you must try this place! I'm impressed with their onigiri, very tasty, and wanting endless bite! Not only did the place have good food but 2 staff's were great and gave the customers top notch service! I will come back here again for sure and definitely recommend fans of onigiri lovers!”
“Good dim sum, good service-polite, efficient. Large sized taro fried dumpling. Skin (wrap) to shrimp dumpling is thin, with nice chew. Good flavors, not so salty. Good value. 7 dishes $52. Beautiful setting. Nice glass enclosed banquet room.”
“All the dimsum entree we ordered were really good. Fresh and very tasty. The prices are very reasonable too. The service is efficient and quick. You'll never be disappointed .”

“I remember getting some pretty good bánh mì to take on a flight several years ago, but didn’t know from which establishment. I came here today and it felt very familiar. I’m pretty certain this was the place.
We took advantage of the buy 2 get 1 free deal for the round bread bánh mì. We had the Saigon special, grilled pork and grilled beef. We actually asked for the meatball bánh mì, but they got our order wrong and gave us the grilled beef instead, which we didn’t realise until we got home. However, the sandwiches were still tasty; the meat was well seasoned and the bread had enough bite without being tough.
A decent place if you fancy some bánh mì. Takeout only.”
“Different Vietnamese cuisine in the United States, sour soup with hot stir-fry, several bowls of rice, burgers, jellyfish salad (like chicken salad ?), pan-fried pomfret, Vietnamese pickles, salty crispy shrimp, and other dishes Five dishes and one soup, come and try it?”

“Was recommended try this place by my doctor who works in rosemead. He said this is his spot and I can tell why. The chicken pho was flavorful and I not sure but it seem they use a special type of chicken that is similar that used in Vietnam. While I was there eating Pho Ga, I noticed multiple tables had order Pho Ga and Hainan Chicken. Seems like a common combo amongst returning customers.”
“GREAT taco truck! The food is fantastic! Super stoked that they opened up in my neighborhood! Awesome pastor and asada. Can’t recommend enough- perfect late night snack spot! Vampiros are legit!
Parking: Easy parking. Street and lot.
Wheelchair accessibility: Sidewalk accessible. Super chill”
“I came to the U.S. and thought it was a very authentic Hunan restaurant, but I don’t know why the business wasn’t very good. I thought the taste was very authentic.”

“If this is not the best banh mi in all of Sgv and Oc, I don’t know of any place that can beat them. All cash by the way so come prepared. Their dac biet is the perfect sandwich and their daikon and carrots are light and bouncy with fresh jalapeno with the right amount of pate and butter. They have it down to perfection, nothing less. Had an open house and served it for homebuyers and they were blown away! Highly recommend! Cafe sua da is gold too, loved the shaved ice in the coffee and not too sweet. The ladies in the back are super sweet and you can buy the baguettes and freeze them, then 350 f for 6 mins in toaster or airfryer. Get the egg rolls, and pa te so is good too. My clients loved their vegetarian banh mi too!
Vegetarian options: Just get he vegetarian banh mi! Only vegetarian thing to get or just plain baguettes! It will be worth it!”
“Enjoyed the Egg Tart and Steamed BBQ Pork Bun, but that is likely because I went in the morning and they were fresh. Ordering is a little awkward because you can’t enter the store and you have to point through the glass or yell through the plastic barrier. Cash only under $20.”
“I guess pandemic era review: 04/01/2022(Sorry for the photo quality, there's a thick plastic barrier in the way, then Google downscales the quality after that)My family has been visiting here for decades. The lady is nice. They are willing to make a custom order for me that's not on the menu at all.The prices are good. The food tatses great. The servings are generally good.I've never had problems.Small family business. My usually places are kind of far, so I have them make me fried eggs with tomatoes :)Very unknown restaurant unless you go out of your way to find small restaurants, or frequently shop at the grocery store inside the building. The restaurants here should get more attention, I hope people see my review(s).I would suggest either choosing from the menu or knowing Chinese to order; English may or may not be understood. I simply have a clear picture of what I want made :) The daughter usually isn't here to help take orders, from what I've noticed.I have them make me fried egg with tomatoes because my usually place(s) are kind of far :)This place is in an area with lots of other adjacent restaurants. The restaurants I've tried have been good, but this is the place I frequently find myself at.”
“A friend recommended me to try the pho here. Happy to say he had a solid suggestion! The restaurant is located in a weird little plaza, but they do have free parking available in the lot.
Their pho was delicious. I ordered the chicken soup with chicken stock. It was so clean. They served me half a chicken, so I had to pick at the bones. I also ordered the fried egg roll appetizer, which was amazing. I love that it comes with all the green veggies. I must have eaten more veggies that meal than in the entire week!
The serving ladies were very nice. Our table was small, and they helped us arrange things to fit all the dishes.
I would come back!”
“Portions and servings were great for the price. We ordered two different rice plates and a noodle soup.
I don't eat pork, so the owner (or manager) offered me a beef soup instead. She said to keep hydrated. So thoughtful!
Inside is a typical Vietnamese place with old school decor. But everyone is very nice.”
“Zheng Shang Xian 蒸上鲜 offers reasonably priced Chinese food in a comfortable and inviting environment. In addition to the tasty dishes, diners can enjoy delightful Chinese music that enhances the atmosphere, creating a relaxing dining experience. The restaurant also serves refreshing icy lemon water, making it a refreshing stop for casual meals or group gatherings. Overall, the combination of delicious food, pleasant ambiance, and soothing music makes it a great choice for Chinese cuisine.”
“Good food for the price

“Make sure to come with a large group, portions are large, so in order to try multiple dishes, bring the family and friends and make it a gathering. Services were nice and friendly, call in a head of time to reserve a table for the weekends”

“I just picked up an order for 60 people on time and delicious. Misa and his Team even loaded it all in my car! The online ordering experience e was simple and easy. The pickup time was 12:45 but I called Misa before they opened (yes he answered before 9:30) and he assured me that I could pick it up at 11:15. This is the 3rd occasion that I’ve ordered catering from this store. It’s always clean and staffed by happy people. I’ll be back!”
