“If this is not the best banh mi in all of Sgv and Oc, I don’t know of any place that can beat them. All cash by the way so come prepared. Their dac biet is the perfect sandwich and their daikon and carrots are light and bouncy with fresh jalapeno with the right amount of pate and butter. They have it down to perfection, nothing less. Had an open house and served it for homebuyers and they were blown away! Highly recommend! Cafe sua da is gold too, loved the shaved ice in the coffee and not too sweet. The ladies in the back are super sweet and you can buy the baguettes and freeze them, then 350 f for 6 mins in toaster or airfryer. Get the egg rolls, and pa te so is good too. My clients loved their vegetarian banh mi too!
Vegetarian options: Just get he vegetarian banh mi! Only vegetarian thing to get or just plain baguettes! It will be worth it!“

“I randomly discovered the place for Ban Xeo. Quite an interesting dish. It is very crispy. You wrap each bite with the lettuce.
I am new to it, so my table was a bit of a mess.
The owner, a guy, spoke english. That’s good.
There was a sign that says they’ll take credit card, but charge a $1 fee. I think that’s a bit steep.
There’s ample parking at the back.“

“This place sits in a food court of a small strip mall which included small novelty shops and a supermarket. The desert is good, service is nice and quick. The environment itself though is something left to be desired. Parking is big but so busy that's it a pain to find parking almost anytime of the day. The parking spaces themselves are not friendly to anything bigger than a sedan so prepare for that. I don't really like the atmosphere here but I do go and get my deserts togo and I'm happy with that.“

“They have really good vegetarian banh mi’s! It’s a bit far from where I live but I’m so glad to have tried it! Will be back again!
Also their Vietnamese iced coffee is really strong and good. My husband gave it the seal of approval. Thank goodness for this shop!“

“**A Hidden Gem of Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine**
We came on a Saturday to enjoy some of our favorite dishes at the original Summer Roll location in Rosemead. This place has been around forever, and it's like coming home for a meal with family. We know the family that owns the restaurant, and they are always so friendly and welcoming.
We had their *nam*, *bun bo hue* (pig foot noodle soup), *banh beo* (steamed rice cakes), and *banh xeo* (Vietnamese crepe with bean sprouts and seafood). The food is from the Hue region of Vietnam, and they do it so well—everything was flavorful, authentic, and delicious.
While the decor here may not be as modern as their newer location in Temple City, this spot has that charm and authenticity that reminds you of a true family-run restaurant. We've admittedly neglected this location, but after this visit, we plan to come back more often. The food is excellent, and the warm, homey atmosphere makes the experience even better. Highly recommend if you're looking for a taste of genuine Vietnamese.“

“The place is called Pho Thanh online, but when if you go to the restaurant it's called Pho Ha Long. The restaurant doesn't use a/c, only fans. My friends and I were sweating so much. We won't be coming back to sit in anymore when it's hot. We rather order online to have to it delivered since the prices are the same and prices are lower than most other restaurants. They do not skimp out on the meat when you upgrade from L to XL size. They give you a good amount of meat but also more noodles. It was so much food, we will not get the XL size next time.If you decide to eat at the restaurant, they have a program where if you order up to 10 meals, you get 1 free.Free parking. They don't have a huge lot though.“

“Portions and servings were great for the price. We ordered two different rice plates and a noodle soup.
I don't eat pork, so the owner (or manager) offered me a beef soup instead. She said to keep hydrated. So thoughtful!
Inside is a typical Vietnamese place with old school decor. But everyone is very nice.“

“A friend recommended me to try the pho here. Happy to say he had a solid suggestion! The restaurant is located in a weird little plaza, but they do have free parking available in the lot.
Their pho was delicious. I ordered the chicken soup with chicken stock. It was so clean. They served me half a chicken, so I had to pick at the bones. I also ordered the fried egg roll appetizer, which was amazing. I love that it comes with all the green veggies. I must have eaten more veggies that meal than in the entire week!
The serving ladies were very nice. Our table was small, and they helped us arrange things to fit all the dishes.
I would come back!“

“Chicken is tasty in both Hai Nam chicken rice and chicken noodle soup we ordered. However, the chicken in Hai Nam chicken rice has small bone fragments in it. You can get stuck easily. Otherwise it will give it a five stars. Good thing is it accepts credit cards now.“

“This is a newly opened restaurant, so the environment inside the store is very clean and the furniture looks new. There are not too many choices on the menu. The Hainanese Chicken Rice is very tasty, but the chicken is slightly less umami. The Bamboo Shoots and Chicken Soup Noodles have a sweet soup base, which is worth a try.“

“#54 fish with the special sauce is the gem of the menu - its always perfectly crispy and flavorful! I would suggest getting the larger fish if sharing with 2+ people. Restaurant owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming! Do yourself a favor and eat here next time you’re craving something delicious.“

“The best cheap eat in the entire LA county. I lowkey don't want to share cuz they might hike up the price, but honestly, $11 for a bowl of Chicken Curry or Bún Riêu is an insane deal. I highly recommend! Food was very decent despite the price!“

“👍 Ice coffee🥤& fresh bread🥖
Read the negative reviews… Isn’t that bad if you speak to owner there in the morning. She can fix any issues & willing to accommodate.
True that servers doesn’t speak English, but you can ask casher in front; on other side of bread section.
Most Vietnamese’s food must be eaten ASAP for quality & health. It could only sit in room temperature for very short period of time…otherwise, it will taste hard or spoil.
Parking: Good luck parking in morning especially weekends. Ask security for quick pickup lane at left side private parking…“
“Vietnamese take out only place. We like their tofu selections: fried either plain or w/ mushroom. They also have fresh tofu w/ a honey(?) & ginger(?) sauce. Parking is tight on weekends. Try street parking or park behind the building, by taking the side street about 20 ft. or so, on the left.“
