“WOW , just WOW. I'm impressed by the food here. Stopped by just to curve my hunger and ended up having a feast. I got the 4 tacos, buche, asada, shrimp and fish. Every single one was perfectly seasoned, the salsas paired so well with every bite.. this place is about 40 min away from me and I will definitely make this drive ?? if you're in the area drop by !“
“Jordyn was the one who served my mother, sister and myself. As someone who has been in the industry for ten years, this young lady hit every service standard imaginable. Attitude, attention to detail, genuine comfort and care for the consumer. Good service makes a difference in people's days, weeks, and general life. You made my mom's birthday special, thank you!“
“This place needs to be known by more people! Went in to get some grilling meat for NFL playoffs and it blew me away. Everything is extremely clean and the staff was very welcoming. I was able to ask questions about products to verify if anything contained gluten. I settled on the pre marinated Carne Asada. It was delicious and amazing flavor combo. They also offer to go tacos and tamales. I will be back to try them out in the near future!“
“Updated Review: During a recent visit, we had the steak and eggs brunch meal. The steak was grilled exactly as ordered and dressed with a bit of delicious ranchero sauce. Our server, Ashley, was attentive and friendly.Consistency in quality and service could be improved, but we keep coming back because the overall value is good. The quality of food and staff is inconsistent. Management needs to work on quality control and sufficient staffing. During some past visits, servers were great. Other times, they were not so attentive. Sometimes, the steak is a bit tough, and other times, it's perfect.Restrooms are modern and clean. The current manager seems conscious and intent on improving the restaurant.“
“A perfect dinner date for our anniversary! Quaint and fun with attentive staff. I loved ordering off of the QR code and having food 'on demand.’ Within 5 to 10 minutes each item we ordered was delivered. The drinks were incredible and the huge variety of tacos made for a wonderful evening. Thanks for the great date!“
“Went in for tamales and baked goods for the first time. They were all out of tamales and we were told they would be ready in about 2 hours, so we got some baked goods. We liked most of the baked goods so I came back for the tamales 2 hours later and Im glad I did. They were hot right from the steamer. They only had pork but thats all I wanted anyways. If you like tamales with more chunky meat to masa ratio like me and a little spicy then these are perfect. I added a couple of there salsas to amp up the spice and I was vey pleased. I would defintely pick these up again.“
“I’ve had barrios kitchen a bunch of times since they opened off of baseline, and the food is Incredible! From the tacos, torta, burritos To the dishes with hot Cheetos! So delicious! We don’t have a lot of authentic Mexican food in west Roseville So I was so excited to try it the first time, and I was very pleased which is why I have been back several times. The location is great and easy to get to and it doesn’t take long for you to get your food! You have to try this place!Parking: There is plenty of space to park in the dirt area around the truck“
“Shiloh was our server, he was fantastic! I had the Taco salad which is HUGE, I took a picture after I had eaten some and there's still so much left! I have the rest to my son in law for dinner and idk if he'll be able to finish it. Such a great deal and delicious!“
“It's a hole in the wall, but aren't those always the best places to get amazing tacos?I was referred to this restaurant specifically for the fish tacos and they didn't disappoint. The adobado (similar to an al pastor) was also phenomenal. One other important point to make is that in these times of excessive food prices (really everything prices), you can come here for a reasonably priced, extremely yummy meal. Hard to argue against that!“
“The outside is a little sketchy but the food and service make up for it! Everyone was super nice and attentive. The food stole the show! To start, they bring out homemade chips, insanely good bean dip and a variety of authentic salsas. The beans are SO GOOD, the flavor is outta this world! I got the enchilada plate with shredded chicken, birria, and carne asada. The chicken is a MUST-TRY! Everything else was delicious too!“
“This is my new favorite Mexican food spot. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is great. The staff is friendly and on top of everything you could need. We share the fajitas for two and leave full and paying a really great price. The crispy tacos and flautas are great too.“
“My go to place when in Roseville. I live up in Grass Valley and when ever i'm in the area and hungry.... it's Jalisco's ! Love their taco salads. So fresh and their mixture of ingredients is spot on. Have been coming here for over twenty years. Check them out, you won't be disappointed.“
“Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner experience at La Popular Roseville last night. Food and service were exceptional. What made the night amazing was the gentleman playing the guitar! My husband and I could listen to him all night. We hope he's there on our next visit and indefinitely! What a treat!“
“Updating my review. Didn't get great service the last few times we were here. Slow to bring drinks and chips, steak not as tender as before, they got our order wrong, got our drinks wrong. It wasn't that busy so I was surprised.Food and service was awesome! A little loud for me on a football night, but everything else was great. Chimichanga was crispy :)“
“Jimboy’s Tacos (in general) is by far the best fast food Mexican restaurant in the states. This location, specifically, is great, because they literally only sell the beef taco. It is that good.Parking: You will need to park down the street, it is a corner shop for take out.“
“The food here is delicious and the service is always excellent. The staff are pleasant and accommodating. The atmosphere is nothing extraordinary but I gave it 5 stars for?being clean (including the bathroom). The prices are fair and the food always come piping hot! I very highly recommend this establishment!!! Personally I love their shrimp tacos with beans & rice. Delicious and they give alot of shrimp in their tacos. ??Kid-friendliness: Definitely a place for the whole family.“
“Taylor is the best staff at jimboy's she's an amazing person I've witnessed on several times several occasions her manager talking very rude to her I believe his name is Joaquin he is a bad bad bad bad bad bad bad person he is miserable and he think he is better than all his employees and that they are beneath him I came for a refund he told me my phone will be remade and when and when I walk through the door that it was unlocked and it was not 9:00 it was actually 8:30 he said we are cleaning our girls early we will not be making anything today so you need to come back tomorrow he is very rude and Taylor is one of the best she needs his position my stars are strictly for Taylor and not for walking as a manager my stars are for her being the greatest employee“
“Great food! Carne Asada had wonderful flavor. Staff was super friendly and updated system to start giving military discount. It looks like a good authentic shop.Vegetarian options: Corn tortillas, cheese, beans, rice, salsa bar…We were able to accommodate gluten free, Vegan, and carnivore(normal)“
“This was our first time coming here. We only came because we had a coupon for one free entrée with the purchase of two drinks. So glad we did! The food was excellent generous portions. Love the free chips and lots of different salsa choices. The restaurant was very clean. The bathrooms were clean, which is important to me. We will definitely be back again.“
“The owner is always working. I have worked on several of the buildings surrounding this restaurant so it was always my go to lunch spot when in the area. Even on the busy days they seem to be able to whip out burritos, tacos, and quesadillas super fast. The grilled chicken super burrito or quesadilla is always on “
“#JaliscoMy 5th great meal here and I'm in love. The kind of love you wish everyone to have. Today we had the taco salad and the fried tilapia. The fish was well cooked so don't be scared land lovers , well seasoned and super cruspy crunchy. The salad was crisp obviously fresh and the meat was well seasoned and spread well not the typical throw a few bits you get at average places. I can't stress this enough.......Great service this means greater with a smile and checked on with a smile the kind where pride and ownership are thriving. Salsa bar has amazing sour cream salsa that someone spent time on. Trust me this place is the family loving restaurant that we need more of. I kinda wish the cook was singing lol I feel like it's appropriate hahahaa“
“Got the molcajete to go tonight and my wife got an enchilada and a taco, they were absolutely fantastic! Loved the chard jalapeno and green onions ontop of the grilled meets. Spicy salsa was bomb also. All of it was super flavorful and delicious.Would suggest to make your own corn tortillas; if you do, could easily be one of the best local Mexican food spots“
“We love this place. Found it during covid and we rarely go to other places. Is it the most authentic, no. I think for where we live it’s pretty decent. I only get two things here, they are my tried and true. Firstly the chicken is where it is at. I’m sorry if you like the pork or beef, don’t come here for that, it’s ok, but the pollo asada is the best. I get the dinner plate and the nachos. But I add beans to the nachos. Their horchata is also super yummy. Everyone we introduce it to likes it. We’ve never tried anything bad there but only get lunch or dinner items. The chips at the chip bar are really the worst thing there, husband and I don’t understand why the chips they use in the nachos are not the same at the chip bar. lol. I asked once because everyone is super friendly! And they said they use yellow tortilla chips at the bar and white tortilla chips in the nachos. It makes a difference people. One of the cashiers even helped me to my car with my drinks and food while I carried my baby car seat. We come several times a month and have not once ever seen bugs or rodents as one reviewer said. The place is always clean and bright. It has gone up in price as has everything and that is my only objection to going more often honestly. Price increase for a lot of places makes it a little less worth going.“
“Our server, Monica, made our first visit to Cafe Delicias a real treat. The chile relleno was incredibly tasty, as was the enchilada. I'm picky about Mexican sauce and the house made sauce on the house made relleno was a winner. It isn't a fancy restaurant and the interior has seen better days but the kitchen turns out great food and the service is excellent. We will be back for sure.“
“Imagine a food joint in an unfamiliar place that is open late into the night.Roseville is of course beautiful, but we were new to it and on someone's suggestion we went _El Charro_. A warm front desk lady welcomed us, took our rather unusual order (we are vegetarian), and we seated ourselves. The serving staff was so courteous that it felt as if they want us to enjoy the food like guests of honor. The food was delicious, but the Mexican hospitality made it even more so.I recommend _El Charro_ to anyone.Vegetarian options: Customize the carne options to contain no meet.“
“The first time I had this places food was at a taco night at a local brew house. It was fantastic then, it's even better in the restaurant. I had the Pork Chili Verde, and the flavor was amazing. The cups and salsa were fresh. I asked for some spicier salsa and that was really good as well. My wife had the carne asada taco and tamale combo. The steak was fantastic, full of flavor, and done to perfection. The tamale was also good, but it was made differently than they made them for the taco night at the brew house. It was still really good, but one of the spices (probably clove?) put us in kind of pumpkin pie. It wasn't off putting, just different. The server was awesome, super nice, and very attentive. TLDR; The service was excellent, and so was the food. I highly recommend this place!“
“This is our go too when we're feeling Mexican food. They're very authentic and have a variety of options to choose from. The burritos are packed and never disappoint, the fajitas are large and very filling, the Barilla street tacos are AMAZING but a tad pricy in my opinion and they also have a free chips/sauce bar (with the purchase of food of course).Have been and will continue coming back again and again!Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair accessibility and handicap spots in front of the restaurant.“
