“Very delicious food and fantastic Costomer service!! We came here to celebrate my sons birthday and we loved every bit of it.”
“If you were thinking of ordering Chinese food from your local orange chicken mill, please don't. It is difficult to find an amazing restaurant in the turgid swamp of modern Chinese victuals, and I'm very pleased to say this is one. Avoid any buffet-style offerings, and enjoy an authentic Sacramento experience at Frank Fat's.
From the moment their concierge took our vehicle away from our meager, hungry hands--to the moment our server, Luis, held the door for us on our way out--my grandmother and I had a fantastic evening we won't soon forget. She has been coming to this Sacramento hotspot since the year after it opened. (They opened in 1939)
Luis, our server, was amazing. It was my first time in the restaurant, despite my grandmother's incorrigible tenure. Luis explained to the both of us the exquisite delicacies we were soon to enjoy, and also a few that I will have to return and sample on a later occasion. We ordered the half Peking duck, the honey walnut prawns, and the delectably spicy Singapore rice noodles. It was absolutely to die for. Turns out you make a saucy little taco out of the rice buns that come with the duck. It was absolutely more awesome than I could ever describe.
We've all had honey walnut shrimp right? No, you haven't. I hate to gatekeep like that, but unless you've had this one, you legitimately haven't had the proper dish.
Right as we were winding up, and as I thought bursting my stomach open in a public place would be worth it just to taste the amazing food for a moment longer, Luis brought us a special gift: a slice of their famous banana pie. Now, although my grandma says it's different every time (she's been going for 84 years, anyone know a solid banana pie supplier?) she did say it was one of the best she has ever had. If I hadn't had the need to escort my toddling grandmother out of the restaurant as she used to do for me at Charles Cheddar's Fun Factory and the like, I would have crammed nearly that entire slice of pie in my face. I had to resign the majority to my grandmother, despite it being a sacrificial offering for my first time in the establishment.
It took like, I don't know, 3-5 minutes between when Luis dropped off our check, to when he was holding the door open for us as we left the restaurant. How was he not there and then suddenly there?? He was like Batman. My grandma has to hold on to me and we kind of have to do ballet to get through narrow spots and doorways without her loosing her balance, so this was a godsend in itself. If the service up until this point hadn't been amazing already, this would have secured Frank Fat's a spot in my heart.
Thank you, Luis, you rock. Managers you better read this and give that dude a raise. I'm serious, I'll come back and ask about it; I don't wanna be a Karen, but I will for Luis. I'm just joking, but really. Guys. Recognize that man's amazing service. In fact, everyone there was absolutely amazing. Our busboy or whatever his job title is got my grandma her coffee order, and I could tell that's not really his gig. But, she got it as fast as an amazing coffee could be brewed and delivered. Thanks dude, wish I got his name.
I hope I got Luis' name right. Oh jeez. Ohhh jeez.
I had my leftovers and got the inspiration to write this. Full disclosure here: I've never felt more free and loose. A meal here might help your marriage. Idk, I'm not a doctor, and I went with my grandma.
Frank I'm guessing is no longer with us, wild assumption (85 years), but my oh my if he didn't birth the most amazing Chinese food restaurant I've ever been to, then I'll be a Peking duck.”

“I liked the vibes and atmosphere of the restaurant. It was clean overall. Staff was welcoming and helpful. I would come back. I'm sad they don't have a location in Los Angeles. All the food was delicious!!!”
“Very fresh and good. Clean restaurant. Fish was the highest quality. Had the BBQ tuna salad. Super good. Bento box great for lunch. Natomas roll was very good. Miso soup was for some reason the best that I ever had.”

My hubby ordered the burger and I ordered tge pork shank. OMG (GOSH!) it was exceptionally delicious and just plain good! We will return as this was our first visit. Tgank you for a wonderful meal and experience. Matt & Sofia”

“Such a great store owner! The mint tea is absolutely delicious, the ambiance is really welcoming, and the service is far better than you’d get elsewhere. Honestly, I kept telling my friend that it felt like I was talking to my grandpa when talking to the owner. Gave us some extra tea, too! Made my whole day. Will definitely be recommending and visiting again. ??”
“I can't say enough good things about this place! The staff is exceptionally kind and welcoming, making you feel right at home. And the pesto chicken sandwich? It’s honestly the best I’ve ever tasted! The toasted yet soft sourdough paired with flavorful pesto and a generous portion of chicken is just perfect. I wholeheartedly recommend it—10/10! You won’t regret a visit here!”

“Attentive service, excellent food, would definitely return. Ordered the Tom kha soup (medium) and it had a deep and complex flavor. We then had the panang curry chicken (hot) and it certainly lived up to the spice and the hype, very impressed with the flavor. Total with Thai ice tea and rice came to $40 with tax and tip.”
“Very nice young man served us. The Margherita pizza was very good and the green salad was delicious. The whole menu looked inviting, have to try the Sunday brunch.”

“Creative yet very delicious food. From appetizers to main dishes all taste fresh and scrumptious! We didn’t have room for appetizers because they give big portions. Well worth the $! However the noise level is loud for me if you want to have good conversation.”
“Leo at classy Hippie curated a 3 course meal for me and a group of friends. The prices were incredibly reasonable considering the fine quality of the experience. He provided tea pairing for each course and shared his knowledge of tea along the way. Absolutely lovely! I would give them more stars if I could.”
“My opinion best Hamburgers in Sacramento. Where else can you get a burger made from venison, wild boar, Wagyu, Bison, Camel or even Gator bites ? Exotic meats and great selection of craft beers owner is an awesome staff is great and the cook is on point. Oh and the fries are to die for 🤤. Definitely a must try if you are in the Sacramento area and love hamburgers and fries.”

“Great tasting food. Have been here a variety of times, had different things from the menu and they are all tasty. Gyro wraps or pita pockets, can’t go wrong. The baclava was also good. Seems to be the owner who’s always working and helping customers. Friendly guy and consistently produces the same quality food. Only a handful of tables and inside and can get busy at lunch. Also has a few tables outside that can be nice to sit at when it’s nice weather out. Inside has been clean all the times I’ve been. Out of towner but have made multiple stops here for a good gyro when I’m passing through. The falafel is tasty too and the dipping sauce for them has good flavor. Meals have fry options and will fill you up with whatever main entree item you get.”
“Ate dinner with my husband and our toddler and had an amazing time. John was a great server and the food and drinks were awesome. Food was elevated but atmosphere was relaxed which was great.
Kid-friendliness: Good options on kid menu including pasta which our daughter loved. Our server put her order in early so we didn't have to deal with a hangry toddler.”

“Had dinner here on 1-15-25 party of 3. Very good service. Espresso martinis were great! Started with artisan bread and Brussel sprouts. It was a little weird to have the pancetta on the side vs mixed into the dish but everyone agreed we really liked them. Then we had Dungeness crab arrabiata, duck fat seared scallops and the short rib. Favorite dish was the short rib! The arrabiata had a good variety of seafood but I wasn’t a huge fan of the squid ink tonarelli. The scallops we tasty just tiny and too few, so that was the least liked dish. Finished off with a flourless chocolate cake that was good. Next time we want the brie appetizer! I’d dine here again but it hasn’t moved into my top 10. We each had a cocktail to start and shared a modest bottle of Pinot. Out the door $400.”
“Don't sleep on Azayaka Japanese Fusion!
Had lunch here with the husband and we were both extremely satisfied with our meals. We ordered the chu toro carpaccio, house ramen, chicken katsu, fire dragon roll and double toro roll. The fish was fresh, the katsu was banging and the ramen hit the spot. I wished the toro was a little more fatty and my husband was hoping the ramen would be spicer, but both were still good. Come for lunch, which was when we came, to get their lunch special. A specialized lunch menu that includes 2 appetizers (smaller portion than regular), a main dish or roll, and a drink.
The service was great so we will definitely be back. They do offer omakase that requires advanced reservations, so hopefully we’ll get to try this out soon.”

“I have been to this restaurant several times and am never disappointed. The food is fantastic and the service is personable and attentive. The ribs, chicken and tri tip are juicy and I requested the sauce to be all over the place because its so amazing! I have been in Sacramento a short time but when I moved here a couple years ago and found this place, I have brought everyone I know to eat here because its sooooo good! I even recommended this place to Guy Fieri! Thank you for being one of the best!”

“Great proximity to UC Davis medical center. The hotel rooms are clean and nice, there isn’t a lot of lights in the rooms and the walls are quite thin, but the other guests were very respectful of keeping things quiet.
I loved the pool and access to the free weights in the fitness center!”
“I came in here on the way to work. I didn't know they had a Krispy krunchy chicken place. Actually never heard of it. So I decided to go in and try it, even though I hate gas station food it's usually garbage. I had a chicken sandwich this morning at 5:30 a.m., I saw him putting it out under the heat lamp. I examined it and looked okay. It's surprisingly very good. The meat is very juicy, it's crispy, it's big. again very pleasant surprise for a chicken sandwich this morning early in the morning. The bread is nice and sweet, and it's not dry at all. I'll probably come back a few more times this place is good, I'd like to see what lunch chicken is like.4-4-2023I decided to come in and get some chicken for breakfast. It's a shame it's such a bad area because this chicken is a hundred thousand times better than KFC. The chicken breast was 4 bucks a piece. But. It's huge and very moist and very tasty throughout the meat.”
“I usually end up eating here on an early Saturday or Sunday morning while running errands. I've never had a bad meal or left unsatisfied.
I went with the super nachos with carne asada. I also got the California burrito. The burrito is huge. The super nachos was packed full (see photo).”
“The service was efficient and our food came out just as we ordered it. This place is located in an old-school former Taco Bell and still has the vintage tables with the pastel stripes. The horchata, tacos (carnitas and carne asada), and carne asada torta were all great. The rice was fluffy and flavorful. There is a small salsa bar and the tortilla chips are self serve in a large bin with a heat lamp.”
“Our experience was wonderful. Shawn, the manager, greeted us upon entering & had us choose a seat anywhere we liked. He was welcoming & gracious. He brought us coffee & said Elijah would be around in a moment to take our orders. Shortly thereafter, Elijah arrived with a warm smile & lovely efficient manner. We inquired about the conversion from writing orders to entering them on a hand held computer. He was personable & had an infectious laugh as he related the change, his experience & how the process works. He remained attentive & engaged throughout our meal. We asked for boxes to take home leftovers. He returned with two & showed us how they fit. Later, he brought a bag to carry them. There were only 2-3 other tables at the time we were present. It made for a relaxed & enjoyable meal. Shawn stopped by as we were about to leave to ask about the service. We said it was great & Elijah is the best. It's been a long while since we encountered individuals so naturally attentive & caring in a restaurant. The bathrooms were impeccably clean. Many thanks, Shawn & Elijah. Your efficient service & engaging personalities are appreciated. We wish you much success. We will return. Until then, we will tell others about this terrific restaurant with the exemplary service.

“Food was yummy! Great atmosphere! Easy parking for the area. Service at the bar was nice, attentive, fun watching the craft drinks be made why we ordered different courses to share:) Didn’t leave room for dessert lol”
Takeout Restaurants
“Friday, 10/25/2024 - Tried "Pho Viet Anh" for dinner for the 1st time. Address is 9529 Folsom Blvd A, Sacramento, CA 95827. They have a nice medium parking lot. We found parking right away. Domino's Pizza is in the front of the building and they are towards the back. Upon arrival....
Pros
1) There was no wait. We seated ourself.
2) the waiter was very nice and patient with us. He let us review the online menu.
3) they didn't provide any hard copy menu. You have to scan the QR code for the menu. It's located on the table.
4) we got the strawberry Lemonade drink ($5.00). It was very tart. A little hard to drink. But we dranked it.
5) We got the large combo pho ($17.00) with the greens on the side. The broth was good. We didn't need to put any of the sauce condiments into the pho broth. We just ate it as is.
6) we got the chicken viet sandwich ($10.20). Sandwich was really good. But watch out. The jalapeño is super spicey. We removed a few jalapeño and the made it less spicey.
7) water tasted good. No funky or metal taste.
8) clean. Our table, chairs, utensils plates, bowls, cups looked clean.
9) they did check on our table to make sure all was good and if we needed anything else.
Cons
1) the menu is small. not much to choose from. But it makes it easier to pick something to eat.
Conclusion
We liked this restaurant. Customer service was great. Food menu is small, but perfect. Made it easier to pick something quickly. Pho was delicious. Chicken viet sandwich was great. Parking was easy. We didn't have any wait time. We'd go here again.”
“Now this is what you call ICE-CREAM! We have been coming here for a year now and we can never get enough, and neither can all the other folks. Cold days, rainy days, hot days and late at night, everyone seems to be stopping by to grab something from Handel’s.
My family’s go-to is the 4 Scoop Sampler where you can choose 4 flavors of your choice and it’s placed into a square bowl to go…and the rest is history! As for me, the small scoop (pictured) is a great size and the variety of flavors are truly endless.
Did I mention that customer service is the cream of the crop?! My youngest kiddo complimented how great the customer service is and was most impressed with Mya whom greeted us with a genuine smile and handled us with care ♥️
Love, love, love it here!! You will too!”
“Our group of eight was searching for a sit-down Mexican restaurant with an open kitchen after 9 PM and found Jalapeños. We decided to give it a try, and the service was excellent—helpful and attentive staff. I sampled four different tacos, all of which were delicious, and the margaritas were fresh and flavorful. Overall, we had a great time, and I’d consider returning to explore more of the menu.”
“Although I first tried pupusas at another Salvadoran restaurant, it was here that I was able to easily dive into this amazing cultural food. The staff is very friendly and eager to help the unexperienced to try new things. The fact that you sit down and order from a menu is great. Jumping into unfamiliar food at a place where you order at the counter can be daunting and stifling to the desire to try new things.
Every time we go, we try at least one new thing, but we always indulge in the fried yucca con chicharron. You owe it to yourself to give it a try while you also try some fabulous pupusas”
“The senorita bread is amazing! Everything else looks super good too, and the senorita bread is so inexpensive that you can try something new every time the senorita cravings calls. Staff is very friendly and efficient as well.
Dietary restrictions: Definitely not gluten free friendly”
“If you want to escape into the cutest lil cafe ever this is the place to go. From a variety of stickers, candles and trinkets to buy from to a tasty latte or pastry this place really has it all. And it’s inside a school of fine arts it’s even better, really ties the aesthetic together. Learned about this place from TikTok. I’m glad I went and I hope to go again soon!”

“This place was so amazing. The food was hot and fresh. Everything tasted incredible. Service was the best part of the experience by far best service I've had in years. I am a server myself and I can say honestly they are better then me at their job! Super willing to answer questions and give recommendations. The decor and atmosphere feels 5 star. Will definitely be coming back with everyone I know.”
“As a hotpot lover, I could never fine a better place in Sac then Grand Hotpot Lounge. I visited this place 4th time in a month. The happy hour option is just the BEST! If you like AYCE and great options with hotpot then you can’t miss it out. Definitely will come back with more friends.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Love this place. Tons of options, very fast, clean accessible restroom ?, overall this is an excellent choice for lunch. Also they don't push the screen in your face requesting tip amount! Ironically, this is one of the few places where the staff actually deserves a tip.”
“Love that this place does vegan Mexican food!!!! And they do it really well. Tasty and great portion. Only thing we didn’t really like was the nopales taco which was a bit boring. The cactus could be better seasoned or cooked differently- just tasted like cactus straight from the can with no preparation.”
“We LOVE LOVE this restaurant!! We are repeat customers and today we were the first customers to be served the new plant based Black Sheep Lamb Burger!! It was absolutely delicious. It’s always wonderful to have plant based, vegetarian and vegan options on a menu. We love Greek and Mediterranean cuisine and are thrilled Jayna Gyro are in Sacramento now. We have many friends with differing dietary needs and Jayna offers exquisitely prepared foods for everyone no matter what their dietary preferences are. WELL DONE JAYNA G!!”
“Pipo is unique in that it has Thai & Ramen both! I stopped in for a quick lunch in between meetings and was very happy with the food, service, and pricing. For spicy lovers, you can adjust your level and spicy actually means spicy here. Their Thai tea selection is excellent as well. If you want to support a local small business run by a wonderful family, then this place is definitely worth a stop!”

“What a delightful experience! The service at this Korean restaurant is top-notch. The staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a memorable visit. The food is a true masterpiece, bursting with authentic flavors and beautifully presented. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a fantastic meal. Highly recommended!”
“The food is outrageously good. It’s not your everyday americanized Mexican stuff. I had an asada burrito they adjusted for my allergies without any problems. It was about 12 bucks, but huge. My friend had some tacos. He was a little surprised by the radishes, I had to explain that this was actual real Mexican food. He found them very satisfying. It’s a little place. So look out for it. I truly want to give them my highest recommendations.
Vegetarian options: They do have mushroom as a filling instead of meat.”
“Such a cool little spot filled with Vietnamese and Korean dishes. Near Southside Park. There's cold and hot food grab n go deli items. These are pre-packaged and ready to eat foods. Super convenient. Their menu rotates with fresh ingredients. There's also a menu that you can order from and it's cooked to order.
It's a small place so don't try to bring a group. Not happening. I'm talking 12-14 seats total type of small. For its size, it's super efficient.
I opted for some grab n go items around 10:30am. Here's what I had.
*Spam & Veggie Kimbap - Good, but I'll try it without spam next time. They offer a veggie option and beef option as well.
*Bulgogi Dosirak Lunch Box - Meat was salty but texture was good. Paired up nicely with the steamed rice. It did not have the overly sugary taste like KBBQ does.
*Braised Pork Belly w/Quail Eggs - My favorite of everything ordered. Very close to how I make this dish at home and it was deliciously comforting.
Be sure to check their hours. They can run out of the goods so be sure to get there early.”
“I had an amazing experience with the service. Sam, the cashier, gave me extra cheese with no extra cost. The pizza quality was top notch and didn’t take too much time to prepare either. This was a 10/10 experience. I can’t remember the last time I ate pizza this good. Shout out to Sam, he’s the homie. I ordered half creamy pesto and half spicy red sauces. Both were out of this world.
Vegetarian options: You can build your own pizza and add whatever veggies you like.”
“I travel for a living, so I am all over the place always trying new places and food. This place is SOLID. The gyros here are absolutely perfect, always get the lamb! The customer service is kind and friendly and very prompt. DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE UP IF YOU COME THROUGH THIS AREA!”
“I always love going to Seasons. The food is awesome, paired with amazing service. You don't feel rushed to leave when hanging out with friends. They weren't busy or needing the table, so we were able to laugh the night away. Thank you Seasons!”
“This was our second visit and we were delighted again! Sushi was delicious, ambience was relaxing, and service was great! Daisy is the best! We had the sushi tacos . Didn’t take a picture , because we devoured them too quickly!”
“A wonderful evening of great food, personal service and casual fun atmosphere.”
“We were so excited to hear about a new pizza spot and couldn't wait to try it! Probably the best decision of my entire life- no, I'm not exaggerating. We were 6 people so this was a perfect amount of food for us. Every single person around the table was VERY impressed. The staff is very nice. Great vision for patrons to enjoy. A unique artisan experience with high quality ingredients.”
“Back in 2020 while in town for a cousin's wedding. The wedding party ate here. Being a retired chef from Louisiana but residing in Nashville. So I know seafood. I would give this place 5 🌟 because the food deserves 2 👍 and staff and place was A-1.”
“Excellent meal. Every dish was very good. Classic yet complex. High quality.
We had scallop phyllo, oysters, sashimi, a couple of rolls, and the miso brule.
Service was excellent.
Parking: Street parking can be hard. There's a garage nearby that has plenty of space.”
“The broth was on hit! Even though I brought my own pepper sauce but the broth was cool. Out of all Shabu places I been this place gets a 10.”
“the pozole is off the hook burritos are great specialty dishes are awesome”
“Mixed feelings 🤨🤨🤨🤨 food was spot on delicious!!! service was pushy and fast pace 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️ or I’m just not used too these type places 😎😎😎”
“We were visiting Sacramento for 1 day and saw the reviews for Sushi Cafe - so we tried it out - and we weren't disappointed. The sushi was very good, the staff was friendly, and the prices were quite reasonable. The only thing that disappointed was the Oyako Don - which was overcooked. All in all - this was a great find.”
“Mike and Austin are the greatest. This place has to be my favorite dinner restaurant in Sacramento! I have never had a plate that has disappointed me. The only issue I have is leaving too full. These guys treat you like family.”
“Food is delicious, fresh and made to order. The ambiance is great. They have a variety of drinks. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Gluten-free options as well. Brunch on the weekends is so delicious! Dinner during the week is hardy and also delicious!”
“Visited family in that area last month & my daughter took us to Veg Cafe for brunch...the french toast was wonderful..the fries were top notch & would love to know what coating or frying method is used to make them the most fantastic fries! Now all other fries will be blah in comparison.”
“Great upscale restaurant! We came for happy hour from 3-6pm before seeing a show at Crest theatre. The burger is $22 and fantastic. I had the cheese plate which could've used more jelly. Martinis were $16.”
“Had dinner last night with some friends. The food was excellent. There was a miscommunication regarding my order and the manager Chris came over and made it right (without any prompting). I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family!”
“Fish tastes super fresh and is very well prepared. Makes you wish you could sit and order everything off the menu. Friendly staff. Not a ton of seating but several spots at the counter.”

“This was our first time in, and we enjoyed the happy hour offerings as well as the risotto of the day and a pizza. The risotto was saffron and shrimp, and it has creamy and delicious as if made from an Italian grandmother. My husband ordered a pizza with sausage and pepperoni, and that crust...wow. I felt like I was in a New York pizzeria. The gnocchi fitting had a texture that wasnl”
“Never disappointed by any part of the experience. Great staff, good times.”
“So good, have been here a few times now and everything we have tried has not disappointed. Tonight we were surprised my our daughter kids meal, she had the grilled chicken and fries and honestly was some of the best chicken I've had in years my daughter loved it. Everyone meals were wonderful the ravioli is delightful! The food is just so well balanced and so surprising and great. We will be Dinning here more often.

“We were having a retirement dinner for our site supervisor. 6 people in total for an impromptu Friday the 13th dinner.
We were talking and enjoying the evening, so the slower service was expected.
The food was excellent. Sorry, no pictures.
Timing was the worst I have experienced. Food came out 1 or two plates at a time with over a twenty minutes span between the 1st and the last. A kiss of death for a hard-working staff of friendly people”
“Great service and fantastic burger & even better chicken Noodle Soup ( noddles are hand made). Plus good quality beer selection.

“Came to Chevys for Happy Hour and stayed for dinner. Antonio was one of the best servers I’ve had there. He met all of our anticipated needs without asking. The restaurant was busy, but he made you feel you were his only table! This was a direct reflection on management- Manager Dawn was pitching in and assisting all while with a smile on her face. She was attentive, professional, and courteous. Highly recommend Chevys! Ask for Antonio’s section, you won’t be disappointed!”
“We hosted our end of the year celebration for the Junior League of Sacramento outside at the large table under the pergola. The weather was beautiful, the ambiance was serene and the aperol spritzes and the bubbly rose were everyone favorite. We made a reservation for 16 people and opted to work with Cheryl to order from the catering menu, which I highly recommend for a group this size! The food was exquisite and very plentiful portions! Thank you Cheryl and Betty team we had a memorable night!”
“I eat at Huckleberry’s at least twice a month, today however my experience was not good to the point that I did not leave a tip and feel terrible about that. I went in around noon on Sunday, I knew it would be busy. I signed in for one and was told it would be a 10 minute wait. I sat there roughly 10 minutes. Two ladies came in signed in. Apparently they knew one of the waitress and were seated a few minutes later even though I was there before them. A waiter then approached the hostess and pointed at the clipboard, the hostess told him she was not going to seat one person in a booth. So I approached the hostess that initially signed me in and inquired why the two ladies were given a booth even though I was there before them, she didn’t know and looked for the waitress who sat them. The waitress proceeded to move them to a bigger booth to seat me. I was very disappointed. I realize it was not right to leave a tip but customers should not be given preferential treatment.”
“Checked Fuji out for brunch today. Cool atmosphere, great service, and excellent food. Big banquet room upstairs that holds 100 people. Excited to try them for dinner!”
“My partner and I live nearby and have been meaning to try this place. What they’ve done with the exterior and interior is beautiful. The service and the food were amazing.
Excited to have a new go-to sushi spot so close to home.”
“the owner was complete.........I don't even wanna type the words..there are much better places in the world to support than this place ..for instance Taco Bell right down the road is a better choice than giving this rude , ignorant man a single penny ....please consider this review before you give this man a single penny ....worst treatment of any place I have ever eaten ...and I have traveled around the world.....please don't give him a second look he is scum ...rude... ignorant...and most of all he misjudged how I was treated I will share this with yelp ..Google..and everyplace I go ...”
“Had a great time. Staff was quick and accommodating. We have some great food and drinks.”

“My husband and I celebrated my birthday at Moxie's last night and it was truly memorable. My husband had the sea scallops/prawn dinner that was perfectly prepared; we had the crab pot stickers, also excellent; and I had an outstanding halibut dinner that was also perfectly prepared. Often times I order halibut in a restaurant, only to be somewhat disappointed. The dinner at Moxie's was THE BEST EVER! I'm a foodie and left the restaurant on a foodie high. The light sauce over the halibut complimented the delicacy of the fish, the vegetables (mashed potatoes, carrots, yellow squash, shredded beets, and green beans) were prepared to perfection and arranged separately on the plate. Plate presentation was creative and easy to maneuver. Everything was perfect! Thank you, Adam and staff, for a memorable experience.
Parking: We have been to Moxie's twice recently and both times found street parking easily -- once right in front of the restaurant and last night just around the corner.”
“Ju Hachi is by far our favorite sushi spot in all of Sacramento! They have great prices, fresh fish, and a warm welcoming staff. The manager Mack and his crew are always happy to help and give recommendations. My boyfriend and I have been frequent diners for over two years now and we couldn’t recommend it more.”
“Met a friend for a quick bite and a wine flight! Not sure what took me so long to check out this very accessible, charming space in East Sac. The white wine flight was delicious, and I have a new appreciation for carrots! Ha! Be sure to check out the golden beets, too!”
“Delicious! Definitely recommend- we had the duck curry and Thai terrace noodles. They are generous with the portions and proteins and flavor is excellent. Live music Fridays and Saturdays.”
“Uber eats the Salmon with Quinoa and Caesar salad. The portion size was good, the freshness was good quality as well. I wish the salmon had a little more seasoning and not so much of the sauce that comes with it. My asparagus were over done as well.”
“This was such a beautiful place to end our trip. We stayed with our friends for a trip to Tahoe and we ate here before going to the airport. It’s a vibe! So pretty!! ?”

“I have eaten here twice recently, on a Friday night and for Sunday brunch. Both meals were excellent. They have great fresh chips served with a variety of salsa, all of which are tasty. I am super picky when it comes to Mexican food but love this place. The service is great and its super cute. I highly recommend Centro to you.”

Vegetarian options: They have some tofu dishes for vegetarians.”

“Visited family in that area last month & my daughter took us to Veg Cafe for brunch...the french toast was wonderful..the fries were top notch & would love to know what coating or frying method is used to make them the most fantastic fries! Now all other fries will be blah in comparison.”
“We have been eating at SG for maybe 40 years. We like Orange Chicken and Lemon Chicken, the Won Ton soup is great and they have eggplant that's the draw for us. The prices are great and the service is great. The atmosphere is better than many more expensive restaurants.”
“Best cookie you’ll ever eat. Thick and soft so fresh tasting. I started with the cheesecakes a few years ago and fell in love. I DoorDash everything. Excited to see they were open till nine so I could get late DoorDash. I just started getting the cheesecake cookie sandwiches. They are amazing! if they are out of a flavor, they substitute something else and write you a nice note hoping that you’ll like the flavor they chose and I’ve never been disappointed. Cayla actually delivered one of my orders during the pandemic when they didn’t have a flavor available I wanted she told me they may have to just bring it tomorrow. Well when you’re craving cheesecake you want it now. I think she knew that because about 30 minutes later she dropped it off at my doorstep. She’s an amazing businesswoman, and I am so happy for her and her success opening up her Roseville and El Dorado Hills stores as well! The cookies come in a cute pink bag . Everything is Delicious, will not be disappointed!”
“When I first went to Fire Taproom, I was truly amazed. The atmosphere, including the workers, were extremely friendly. The food I ordered (the Classic Burger) was absolutely delicious. My kids ordered the Chicken Tenders and wouldn't stop telling me about how much they loved it. My husband ordered the FTR Chicken Sandwich and really liked it. The fries were also amazingly seasoned, unlike any other restaurant I have been to before. The place was truly amazing, and I can't wait to come again.”

“This place was awesome! Starting with the aesthetic, the art on the walls was incredible! The staff was extremely attentive and offered the daily special, which is a super bonus cause your girl likes her deals! The food was really good and the price was great. We just found our new date night spot!”
“Went for Mother’s Day. Wait for food was kinda crazy 1.5 hours for the appetizer. Food tasted good but portions were extremely small for the $85pp . I got the steak with fingerling potatoes and fava beans. I literally had 2 potatoes, 5 beans and possibly 3oz of very rare steak. Needless to say $300+ later… we are still hungry and hitting a drive thru”
“My wife and I highly recommend Allora. This is our go to restaurant for special occasions. Best food we have ever had and excellent service.”
