“JP Thai Kitchen is a hidden gem on Freeport Blvd in Sacramento. The food is delicious with an excellent service. The dining room is a little dated but comfortable. I have the Roasted Duck Curry and Spicy Fish (I want it mild). I also ordered brown rice for the curry. All the dishes are delicious. However, I hope the Roasted Duck Curry is a little more creamy. “There are so many ramen restaurants that disappoint- this is the opposite. The broth is rich and flavorful, the pork is roasted to full flavor and texture, and the egg is suitably soft. Good luck finding better. The Banh Mi is similarly excellent. Origami Grill sticks to a simple menu and gets each item just right. Well done, all around.“
“This place is an absolute GEM, the ALL YOU CAN EAT IS MARVELOUS. You can even include beer with this option…..the food comes out very fast. It all appears to be super fresh. The service is incredible. This was our first time coming here. We were outside with light rain but the patio heaters made it quite perfect. If you are near Downtown Sac look this place up…….Parking: Parking seems a bit tight but most places near downtown are like this.Kid-friendliness: Kids are able to be here as long as they are hungry;)“

“I had the tempura lunch special and and Unagi roll. The staff was incredibly nice. It was my first time in, and seeing the koi pond still there was amazing. The tempura was perfect, with the pumpkin being amazing. The rolls were fun and not too sweet, which made me happy. Probably the best lunch place in midtown.Parking: Limited parking. If you have shopping to do I'd pop by the Natural Foods Co-op and then walk to Koi to pick up a take out order after you shop.“
“Vincent told us that this place was the original out of all of them. Some of the other ones that they have around are owned by different people now. And I have to say my sister has been two different ones and she said they are not the same. She will drive all the way from Vacaville just to come to this one. That's why she took us here for my son's birthday and it was amazing. I don't even eat crab or shellfish or anything like that. My mum and my sister and my son though love it. I had chicken wings and cheese sticks and rangoons and they were delicious and they devoured everything. As you can see there was nothing left. There was a lot left for my son because he got the biggest thing in there and it was huge. You can see in the bag he got so much food. There were potatoes in there and mussels and oysters and crab and everything and corn. It was amazing. He was ecstatic. Would definitely be back and will only go to this one because it's the best one. The customer service is amazing and the food is really good. It comes super fast and for as much food as you get the price was spectacular. They definitely made my son's day And if you guys get a chance to look up the history of this place and just Asian and Cajun food in general, the history is amazing And it's deep and Rich in the culture of Louisiana“
“First time here yesterday and ordered the salt n pepper shrimp. It's amazing and delicious and the best part is it's only $8!!!! The drinks are good too. I had lychee and honeydew snows with boba and can't wait to go again.m to try other flavors. They have soooo many flavors to choose from! Friendly service and I will definitely be back. I don't know why I never stepped foot here as I always shop at sf supermarket nearby. I shall be a regular now.“

“This place has changed a lot. Ever since I've known this place it has changed owners 4x! But I've been coming here since I was also 12 years old lol. Love that they serve raw larb. Honestly, I'm not in love with the papaya salad and the food has changed with the owners. But I come here once in a while to get my lao food fix when I'm in Sacramento. New owners are really nice. “Recommending the pork spring roll -- it's stuffed with tender and flavorful pork with a nice char on it, in addition to crispy bean sprouts and lettuce, springy rice noodles, and chewy rice wrapper. The peanut sauce it comes with is a little spicy.“

“I noticed this place as I started a new job near by. So on one of my lunches I came over to try it out and see what the mixed reviews are all about. I got a Double Cheeseburger with Fries and a Chai Latte for only $15. The burger was huge but was not lacking flavor at all, the fries were perfectly crispy on the outside while soft on the inside, and the Chai Latte was also great. They also have a espresso machine, the Mocha is very good. If you want a good classic American cheeseburger with fries or a bento box with sushi then I recommend this place. It’s nothing gourmet but it’s great for the low price. 4.7/5.“

“Our group (6) came in towards the end of the night after our boys finished a HS basketball game. They were friendly and attentive. I got the tacos, they were delicious. My husband got the spicy drumsticks, he can handle spice and he was sweating and had to take a break. Everyone liked the crispiness & crunch of the batter. I’d recommend trying them if you haven’t.“
“Nice diner experience for lunch. We arrived around 1:00 pm so there was no wait. My cheeseburger had a thick beef pattie with the right amount of lettuce and tomato. My wife's Banh Mi sandwich was fresh and tasty. The folks that worked there were quick and friendly. I'd have lunch there again.“

“My colleagues and I were in town for training. Everything we had tasted great. I had the BBQ chicken bowl, one oerson had the braised pork bowl and the other ordered two tacos. The braised pork taco was swimming in oil. She picked up the taxo and oil streamed out of it. I would not recommend it.“
