Had a craving for pupusas on the way home from the airport and stopped into La Sonsonateca. Couldn't be more happy with our experience and food quality. This has been our favorite pupusa spot since we moved to this area last year. My husband is Salvadoran and VERY picky when it comes to Salvadoran food. We have tried many pupusa places around the area and La Sonsonateca is our favorite! The pupusas are cooked to order, so they are fresh and delicious. They have the best pupusas in the whole Northern California and the best Salvadoran tamales I have ever tasted. Their chimichanga is superb and the staff is friendly and fast.
