“I am excited to have a restaurant like this in Sacramento. It felt like I was near the coast. I love the decor and the vibe.

My friend and I shared the mahi mahi aguachile and the red snapper. The aguachile was really good. The snapper was okay, but I was looking for more flavor.

I will be back to try some other dishes, so many of them sounded good.“

“The service is always excellent. They are friendly and make it a great place to eat at. And the bonus is, the food is excellent! I get the fried prawns, scallops and cod and fries or fried green beans. Potato salad is great too and their dipping sauces are great. I go there weekly or every other week. I grab Mel a lot so sometimes I go in late and they are open until 11:00. Love this place“

“I found Octopus Peru while searching for a restaurant near Golden 1 Arena, and it was a fantastic choice! We started with drinks—my wife loved her “Amore del Mar” so much she had two, and my “Guava Affair” was incredible. I also tried the “Peruvian Spicy,” which had tequila, ginger, mango, and habanero syrup—the heat was perfect! We have a tradition of ordering oysters, so we couldn’t resist the ½ dozen, but the “Smokey Tuna Tostada” was the real star.

The portions were large, prices reasonable, and despite how busy it was, the staff was friendly and attentive. A highlight was chatting with the owner, who told us about his other restaurant, “Octopus Baja”—I’ll definitely be trying it next time we’re in midtown! The inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for a parents' night out without the kids before the show. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Really good fried fish. I also really like the tartar sauce. The fries were ok. The sourdough bread bowl that the clam chowder came in was delicious. The clam chowder was acceptable.

This is a sort of picnic place with disposable cutlery and paper trays.
That's why we had to get the bread bowls - we did not want our clam chowder to come in a styrofoam container.

There is some seating inside with train paraphernalia. And picnic is outside.“

“We came here for the Dim_Sum and was actually going to try a different restaurant and entered the wrong place so we ended up here so we had our lunch and it was really good the food and service no complaints at all the building was okay needs some things to bring it up to 4 stars like replacing the carpets and paint, but it wasn't dirty or anything like that just well worn. This place will be on our rotation of restaurants for now on.“

“Google is acting weird with directions here but truck entrance is off of National drive. Photo is looking into entrance from the yard. Little tight parking. You can sleep on the National drive as it full of trucks although signs are prohibiting parking overnight. Lumpers are available“

“5 stars! For quality of food. Every dish we had tasted delicious. Brought us back to OC places, and better than some of the central Viet dishes in SoCal. From the house made sauce fried chicken wings (kids enjoyed), to the ca canh chua, mango salad was refreshingly good, and the morning glory was very nice. Didn't try the pho, but kids and bro enjoyed. Bro said the banh xeo was a little hard. It just took a REALLY long time for them to prepare the food--one cook that day maybe? But food was very high quality. Friendly service. Can get a little loud inside, looks like it hosts big groups and events, they was a karaoke group in the back.“

A dozen of yummy oysters and the bomb is the stir fry clams in garlic flavor we ordered it again because it was real fresh and good . I don't regret paying a lot of this is the food serve , very delicious I was just worried because I eat a lot 🤣🤣. Costumer service was exceptional . “Food truck with good food. I had fish ceviche and a carne asada Taco. Ceviche came in a cup with a couple of tostadas lime wedges and ketchup packets and crackers. Taco was a street taco and grilled onions and radishes on the side. I will be going back.“

“Delicious, fresh, hot chicken with tasty sides to match. The place is clean, the customer service is excellent, and there’s a bit of indoor seating available. It also has a small convenience store inside, which is a nice bonus. It’s easy to miss if you’re not looking for it, I’ve lived in Del Paso Heights for years and only recently discovered it. It’s right across from Grocery Outlet, and a great perk is that you can use your food card to buy Krispy Krunchy Chicken here.“

“Came in at 3pm on a Saturday and was greeted by a very nice couple that were quick to help me order. I waited about 10 minutes for a 2 piece fish order and was more than satisfied with it. I needed to season my meal a little with some salt but the hot fish and crispy fries were really good. The batter on the fish was light and without salt I could really taste the fish. The fires were also pretty good too as they were hot and crispy. Very lucky to have stumbled upon this place and will try to visit more often.“

They take a minute telling you all the options they have on their cart and if you are looking for something else, they will track it down for you. Consistently good food/service for the last 8 years I have been going.“

I ordered the Combo B with garlic butter (mild spicy), and it was absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be back! This truly feels like a hole in the wall but the inside is beautiful and intimate. What you'll see on a menu is a small fraction of what is truly available to you. That move quickly and diligently to get you settled and will make sure you get something you'll love. It will definitely feel a bit overwhelming at first trying to keep everything straight but trust your gut. They'll make you any drink you ask for and have a great selection of appetizers, main courses, and dessert.

If you want an intimate setting with polite, jovial, and knowledgeable staff and stellar food definitely give this place a try.

“I'll be honest I come to this specific every time I'm In Sacramento, Noah who brought out the water was phenomenal, Julia the server was absolutely phenomenal, food was great as always however the host or host in training I'm not sure if someone forgot to follow up on his training but right from walking in, he's on the phone with a elderly customer visibly annoyed because the customer was asking to many questions regarding a birthday , ok fine!!! Then we had a few surprise guest show up who originally couldn't make it. The server and G.M allow them to take a seat right next to us being very hospitable, for some unknown reason the host comes up very very rude “you can't sit here you need to check in with me” we inform him our waitress said it was ok, the Resturant was empty and he became upset stating “well my boss said it isn't you need to go check in” I mean I'm the last type of person to complain but this is not Ruth Chris customer service. I come here often, Brandon the server always awesome, the elderly lady always above and beyond but for some reason seamslike the host or hostess just don't have the same level of hospitality that makes RuthChris enjoyable“
