“Looked up seafood restaurants for fish and chips Railroad fish and chips popped up I figured I would try it parking is a little tight because its old town Sacramento where there is cobble stone streets. I ordered the fish and chips with shrimp the staff was polite the service was good food came out hot and fresh and a good amount, I didn’t finish it at first so I took it home and finished it later even with cooling down it was still flavorful and not soggy like some fried food gets when it sits“

“Captain Crab was such an amazing experience! My friends and I had a great time. Even though they were super busy, everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The customer service was outstanding, and our server Lino was incredible from start to finish—friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. And his manger Marie 10/10 experience. In my opinion, it’s even better than Boiling Crab. We’ll definitely be back!“

“This is best seafood truck on earth, I prefer to eat their seafood over other restaurants and trucks. I try to go once or twice a week since it's right next to work. And I have had seafood that taste like it frozen but this truck has that fresh out the water taste !!“

“Google is acting weird with directions here but truck entrance is off of National drive. Photo is looking into entrance from the yard. Little tight parking. You can sleep on the National drive as it full of trucks although signs are prohibiting parking overnight. Lumpers are available“

“Was in the mood for some shrimp and chips, and this place nailed it! Service was kind and quick. Got the shrimp combo (1 piece of fish) and it came with a couple of onion rings. Couldn’t be happier about this choice! If you are in the area, don’t skip on this treat. Parking is a bit limited, with about 3 spots behind the restaurant. I got lucky and secured a spot. This mom and pop joint is now added to the rotation whenever I’m in Sac. Thanks again!“

“First time eating here last night. We ordered Gumbo, Garlic noodles, Wings, Tiffany wings, Shrimp basket, Sweet Potato fries and it all turned out to be very delicious. The decor was fun and vibrant. The music was the right touch. This place has been here for 11 years, it’s located right after the corner gas station Mack Rd and Stockton Blvd. We’ve overlooked it for some time and we were pleased with our visit. Can’t wait to go back to try more food. It was an amazing experience especially because of Richard, for his hospitality! 🤗“

“First time having dim sum at this spot, was super impressed. The service here is wonderful, everything was quick and hot/fresh, and staff was very attentive. Food was good, 4-4.5. “I can't say enough great things about Octopus Baja! A friend and I had lunch to celebrate her birthday and were very pleased with everything. The food and the drinks were amazing! Our favorite were the shrimp tacos and grilled octopus. All of the drinks were amazing, especially the coconut ones! The waiter was very attentive and made sure we always had what we needed. “I’ve been lucky enough to have seen this taqueria from the first day they opened, in Campbell, Ca. which was the original location prior to moving to the Sacramento area. The food is prepared by a family who pours just the right amount of love into each dish. For me, I fell in love with the food the first day, then I fell in love with the family. Mom, Dad, Sons, and Sister(their daughter always called me brother and I called her sister❤️) all knew me by first name basis. I’d take orders from the business located in our complex and order 10 burritos at a time and always left with a free burrito for myself. I gained over 50lbs eating their food because it was the best around. Over the past 25-30years they’ve been in business, I’ve made the trek to Sacramento to see the family and eat their amazing food multiple times. “I really enjoyed my visit here! If you’re looking for a Vietnamese restaurant with a lot of food options, this is definitely a place to check out. The menu has plenty of choices, so there’s something for everyone whether you’re craving traditional Vietnamese dishes, something hearty, or just want to try something different.

The food was flavorful and had that authentic Vietnamese taste I was looking for. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere. The place is well decorated, clean, and has a welcoming vibe that makes you want to sit down, relax, and enjoy your meal.

The business owners were also very friendly and welcoming. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in their restaurant. Great food, lots of options, friendly owners, and a beautiful setup all in one place.

“Great fish and chips! I tried the basa fish which I’ve never had before. Very Generous portion of three big pieces, you don’t need the large (unless sharing)! Quality fish and breading, a tiny bit salty for my liking. Placed order online and it was hot and ready when I showed up. I wish they offered malt vinegar. Recommend and next time I will try the fried chicken.“

“Went there for a dinner for the first time . Wow , balut was so good my husband love them too. We had a hot pot as well and it's really soup warming. A dozen of yummy oysters and the bomb is the stir fry clams in garlic flavor we ordered it again because it was real fresh and good . I don't regret paying a lot of this is the food serve , very delicious I was just worried because I eat a lot 🤣🤣. Costumer service was exceptional . “Delicious, fresh, hot chicken with tasty sides to match. The place is clean, the customer service is excellent, and there’s a bit of indoor seating available. It also has a small convenience store inside, which is a nice bonus. It’s easy to miss if you’re not looking for it, I’ve lived in Del Paso Heights for years and only recently discovered it. It’s right across from Grocery Outlet, and a great perk is that you can use your food card to buy Krispy Krunchy Chicken here.“

“Gift card scam. Mikunis implemented a new protocol in 2022. Any gift cards that were purchased before a certain (unknown) date, and now utilized, will be zeroed out. Back story: I attempted to use a gift card today (April 2023) and was informed it had a zero balance. The server kept my card. I had a gut feeling, asked for the card back. I spoke to the manager about how I could have a zero balance when I had never used it. The manager informed me that corporate zeroed out all gift cards that weren’t used. In order for me to get my money on the gift card, I have to call corporate headquarters and “request” an inquiry; which I did to no avail. It’s not about “expired” gift cards. It’s about not informing consumers ahead of a new rule that gift cards be zeroed out before a certain date. I’ve used 10 year old gift cards at other restaurants without any problem. Biggest scam ever.“

“Solid Cantonese Dim Sum With Traditional Push Carts!

Ming Dynasty on Broadway in Sacramento was a Michelin Guide-recommended restaurant in 2019. It’s known for serving all-day dim sum from traditional push carts, so I considered it a good choice for Cantonese food and dim sum.

Service: Decent, friendly

They also have areas you can rent for private parties, such as baby showers and other gatherings.

The dim sum carts had barely started making their way around the room when the next cart stopped by our table. The carts were constantly being refilled with a wide variety of dishes and continuously circulating, so there were plenty of options to choose from.

We ordered the usual dim sum favorites. Everything was tasty with no major issues, and the prices were reasonable.

Overall, it’s a solid choice for traditional Cantonese dim sum in Sacramento, especially if you like the old-school push-cart experience.“

“We love this place. Much attention is given to presentation and the food is excellent. This time we tried the Black Cod Steak. Cooked perfectly in a lovely sauce on top of asparagus.
Their starters are also very good. In addition to the Sonomono we tried the breaded fried Oysters that came with a creamy crab dipping sauce. Again, excellent. If you are adventurous or just love trying new tasty foods you will love this place. It is small and you will want to get there early, if you don’t want to wait.“

“Food truck with good food. I had fish ceviche and a carne asada Taco. Ceviche came in a cup with a couple of tostadas lime wedges and ketchup packets and crackers. Taco was a street taco and grilled onions and radishes on the side. I will be going back.“
