“Taco Jane's is a quaint restaurant with an energetic and friendly waitstaff, and food that is well worth the mid-range Marin County prices. Beers on tap, indoor and outdoor seating, and the occasional bard with guitar and amp posted near the entrance give this place a fun and relaxing feel. They have many vegan friendly options. I recommend the jackfruit tacos when they are on special.“

“I recently visited this place, and I had a great experience with friends and their young children. The atmosphere was great, and it was a fun place for kids. The highlight of my visit was the chicken tacos - they were delicious! The staff could be friendlier and more attentive, so I'm giving it 4 stars. Overall, I highly recommend this place, and I can't wait to return.“

“The pictures don’t do this place justice. We had an excellent experience at Sol Food! We stumbled upon it on our way through town as visitors from Texas, and thought we’d give it a try, since PR food spots are not that common where we’re from. We got there just in time, but it got super packed with a line out the door shortly after we got our food. The bistec meat was so tasty. The fried plantains were perfect. The jamaica tea was tangy and refreshing. The caldos were okay. The salsa had a nice kick but was very watery, although I’m not familiar with whether that’s how it’s supposed to be. The service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was fun and lively. Definitely recommend a visit!“

“My husband and I were traveling through Novato and found this little restaurant on Yelp. We came in through their store and the gentleman behind the counter told us to go to the back of the store and turn right. The restaurant has a small eating area with a tv but clean. Didn't know what to order because their menu is extensive and they have daily specials to boot! With the help of our waitress we got the pupusas, tacos chapines, and a salad (asked them to make one up). She was so friendly and accommodating! They made us a salad with iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, and avocados. Didn't have salad dressing but came with lime wedges so we squeezed that with pepper and it was really tasty! The tacos chapinas were to die for as were the pupusas! The pupusas we had were the bean & cheese, pork, and the cheese and zucchini. The tortillas are hand made and part of the kitchen is exposed to you can see and hear the woman making them. Lots of people were coming in for take out orders and wish I could be around to try all their dishes!! If we come through here we'll definitely stop to eat here again!!“

“I don't normally leave reviews on yelp but we had such a great experience I could not not leave a review. We came in 2 min before closing and the owner Bill graciously welcomed us in. We had the white bean soup, beet salad and sliders and sangria. The food was amazing! As we were leaving we had a great chat with Bill and he told us about his 15 year history of owning the restaurant. I moved to San Rafael 4 years ago and this was honestly my best culinary experience. We will be back!“

“When I went there, they had no lines and the churros were only $2.84 for 3 churros. They were very kind to me and quick to serve. I was craving for churros and started searching. Lo and behold, there is a churro restaurant just exclusively churros set aside sandwiches and smoothies but now I know there is a churro place when I am craving for churrosParking: Good luck finding a place to park as their parking lot is a shared lot.“

“Sol food was yummy and very comforting. We got the vegetariano from the combination options and got maduros, mariqitas from the plantain options. The combo plate was so soothing to our palates and every plantain option was divine! I'm more of a fan of ripe sweet plantains so maduros were my fave, closely followed by mariqitas which was fried raw plantain with an awesome dipping sauce. Dine in was available only in the San Rafael location and was not an option in the Mill valley location. We took the food to go and found a picnic spot nearby. Parking was easy to find, probably because we went during the late afternoon.“
