“We stopped by after being in town for a few days and needed some food at about 2pm on a Sunday. To the pro's: Quick service Highly recommend the ceviche if you like fresh options. Not our favorites: Although we tried the Chariza and Pabil tacos, we didn't want the whole plate with salad rice and beans. You cannot order ala carte and with 2 tacos to an order for $16 for the plate, it's not something I'd recommend if you're looking for just tacos. The mezcal marg was also decent but not my favorite. Worth a try if you're looking for a meal and not just a quick bite though.“
“We had birria tacos for the first time and can’t wait to go back for more. They have a very extensive menu with something for everyone. I love that they have a salsa bar and chips you can get yourself. Great service and plenty of parking. Highly recommend.“
“A quick shout out for a large, catered meal for a high school football team. We ordered the taco/burrito buffet, including chicken, steak, black beans, rice, flour and corn tortillas, and all the fixins (salsa, guac, sour cream, etc.). The food was good and enjoyed by everyone. The standout was the service. The order was ready on time. Everything we asked for was included (plates, utensils, serving spoons, napkins, etc.) The employees assisting us were pleasant and helpful. They checked the order one last time before it went out the door to ensure that we had everything we ordered. Thanks to Jennifer and Enrique, and all of the employees working last night (10/13)!!“
“I recently visited this place, and I had a great experience with friends and their young children. The atmosphere was great, and it was a fun place for kids. The highlight of my visit was the chicken tacos - they were delicious! The staff could be friendlier and more attentive, so I'm giving it 4 stars. Overall, I highly recommend this place, and I can't wait to return.“
“Well, I discovered this small place in the heart of San Rafael and pffff I fell in love with the cuisine that led me to remember my mother's food in my beautiful Mexico. I'm sure I'll come back to try more of the menu but today I tried some carnitas and asada picaditas and their super tasty horchata water, I fell in love with this little place“
“So delicious with kind attentive service. I got the combo plate and each item was yummy. Usually it's a sea of beans with a blob of rice as a side note, but the beans and rice were stars themselves. The main choices were full of flavor and not overloaded with cheese and extra garnishes. We will definitely return if we are back this direction.“
“Absolutely some of the best food I’ve ever had! True california/mexican food. Very healthy, affordable, fresh ingredients, incredible recipes. I would eat here every week if I lived nearby. We had the salad, sweet potato quesadilla, cauliflower tacos, agua fresca and flan. There was homemade hot sauce and homemade tortillas. Every dish was SO GOOD. I can’t wait to eat here again!“
“Wanted tacos after weekend of camping. This was closest place on way home. Park under sketchy overpass area. Line out the door. Reasonable prices. Had 5 chicken tacos dorados plus side of sour cream and guac(don’t bother ordering the guac). Came with nacho chips plus red and tomatillo salsa. Total was $12. Lots of food for the money. Nothing exceptional but good and seems very popular among locals.“
“This low key resturant in Sausalito is where the locals go for hearty breakfasts. A Mexican chef puts his special touch in the eggs and salsas. If you are looking for an unpretentous, large portionplace for breakfast or lunch, I recommend Anchorage 5 resturant.“
“My first visit to Mi Pueblo, but it's a favorite of many friends. One taste of the green salsa and chips while waiting for my order and I knew why. I ordered a chimichanga with carnitas. I had seen photos of it before ordering, but was not prepared for how big it is. Easily 2 pounds and I could only eat half. Plus a horchata. Last chimichangas I had were fried crispy. This was soft like regular burrito. But the flavors of the ingredients and toppings were all first class. I particularly liked the red chile sauce that covered the dish. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. I'm looking forward to visit again to try tacos and enchiladas.“
