“This place is bomb. A coworker recommended it. I walked in and told the girl in line behind us to go ahead because we had never been there before. She said me either! And we all laughed about that. This place is cool tho. Laid back vibe, friendly employees. The burger…probably the best I have ever had, no joke. This is exactly how I like them. A real smash burger with crispy edges. Double was $8 and it comes with grilled onion, bacon, cheese, sauce and you can add a lot of other stuff. Fries were perfect, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and good seasoning. When we left we said thanks and the guy in the back said “hey see you guys tomorrow?” I was like…yeah lol…cause he might. If not tomorrow we will for sure be back very soon. Give this place a chance, you won’t be sorry.”

“Absolute best barbecue ever! You will not be disappointed! There’s not one thing there that I wouldn’t give an A+ rating to! I’ve been there twice this week and this is going to be my go to place. Lucille‘s Doesn’t even compare and that used to be my favorite but this place beats it by far! Also, their customer service is amazing! Some thing that every other restaurant has been lacking! Way to go Spirit of Texas!”

“Having just found our purchase receipt from Bear and Konos, in my wallet today when reducing its contents...i was compelled to write this review.
My wife and I bought breakfast burritos and coffees. Our experience was that the service was very prompt, the food was brought to us within 3 minutes (I thought) which is so very important. The food was really good and clearly was made from fresh ingredients because we could taste that it was. My wife and I felt good from our experience and not unhealthy like we feel after McDonald's. We were quite surprised from the price also because quality food is not normally priced so consumer friendly.

My wife and I will be returning whenever we are in the area.

The only thing that could be better is if they had a location near our home and the colleges in Claremont.

The chicken teriyaki honestly reminded me of home in Seattle. It was juicy and tasty. We recently moved to the area from LA, and this is by far the best teriyaki spot we’ve found so far. This place definitely just gained three loyal customers. 10/10!”

“I would give them 10 stars if I could. At Mimi's you receive a warm welcome then you're seated and the flow of service and great food starts. I had the mushroom burger, which comes on toasted bread for a nice change. Brief is covers the patty that is cooked to your desire. A generous helping of fries is on the plate as well. There's an option for salad if you would rather go green instead. Before the meal is served we enjoyed toasted fresh baked bread and a treat of carrot muffins. These are a decent size for appetizers. This is served with whipped butter. Delicious. And amply prepares your taste buds for the meal. The atmosphere is both homey, and a delight to the eyes. There's also a bar for your pleasure if you so desire. The service staff are cheerful and ready and waiting for your order. There was a reasonable wait and price. This was an excellent eating experience. Thank you 😊.”

“Not quite as good as some of the other Mexican restaurants in town, but I will say that I often come here for the convenience of the drive-thru. They are also open 24 hours! When I used to live in the area, I would come home from my closing shift in Orange County at like 3am, and Albertacos would be the only fast food joint open. I would order 3 hard-shell shredded beef tacos and it tasted like Heaven on Earth!”

“We were stopping through on our way to Arizona. This place is amazing!!! Their spring rolls are made with fresh green lettuce. The lettuce is crunchy and I ate 5 of them!! 🤣 Spring rolls sometimes can be dry and the lettuce soggy but here is fresh and crunchy!

Their broth for the pho is delicious. The broth at many places have an after taste and full of MSG. Their broth here is very flavourful because they simmer the bones for a long time. It tastes just like how it should, out of a home kitchen! Everything is tastes so fresh here.

Highly recommend this pho place over the other ones nearby!!”

“Stopped by this ramen spot on a road trip and was pleasantly surprised by how good everything was.

The Tonkotsu Ramen was definitely the highlight. The noodles are made fresh in-house, and you can really tell from the texture — they had a great chew and held up well in the broth. The tonkotsu broth was rich and flavorful without feeling overly heavy or greasy. The chashu was tender and well-seasoned, and the soft-boiled egg and wood ear mushrooms rounded everything out nicely. I added a little chili paste for extra heat, and it worked perfectly.

The Spicy Garlic Edamame was much better than I expected for a side dish. The edamame was cooked just right, still firm and plump, and coated in a flavorful garlic sauce with a nice kick.

We also ordered the Gyoza, which had a beautifully crispy bottom and juicy filling inside. Simple but very well executed.

The Pork Rice Bowl was huge and easily shareable. The sweet and savory sauce paired really well with the rice, making it a great comfort-food option alongside the ramen.

Overall, everything tasted fresh and well prepared, and the portions were generous. Definitely a spot I’d stop by again if I’m in the area.”

I had the octopus, escolar, and surf clam nigiri, spicy scallop hand rolls, salmon carpaccio, and seared escolar. They were all incredibly well prepared with well-balanced sauce/togarashi.

I love that the sushi is also sized correctly, each piece is actually a single bite the way they're traditionally intended to be served.

“Walking into Tempe House was like visiting your friend's house full of Aunties who are all trying to feed you. The regulars were laughing and kicking back with the owners, watching TV in their own honest comfort. The woman serving food was so friendly, and when I told her it was my first time having Indonesian food, every customer chimed in with their favorite dish that I should try. She ended up giving me a couple free samples and a side just so I could try what she liked.

The food itself was delicious. I had sweet braised beef, tempe and tofu, kale curry, and the turmeric rice. They garnish the rice with crispy onions and piled on the portions! By the time I was full I hadn't even finished half my plate. All for a price cheaper than most other counter service spots I can think of. I'm definitely coming back to explore the menu! Can't recommend enough!”

“Most of the time the BBQ beef, rice and macaroni salad are very good. So maybe they have changed or added a cook because tonight it wasn't up to par. Meat wasn't cut as thin and was a little touch. Also, portion was more cabbage than meat. Some minor adjustments and I could give it the usual five stars. Thank you for your great food!”

“This has become my go-to, pick-up, Mexican Restaurant. The food is good and the portions are more then generous. Normally, I get two items at other Mexican restaurants. Not at Sosa's. In my last, encounters I’ve had trouble with the App and redeeming claiming points every time I try to log-in information regarding to my visits, it seems someone has already claimed the points. As well as, they forget to ask if I will be using the app.”

“I bought an order of agua chiles, and they were really good. The problem was the portion size. I paid $28 and the container was maybe 60% full. The staff was really friendly, and the place was very clean, but portion size did not justify the price.

I ate my food before I could take a picture and post it with this review because I'm not the type of person to take pictures of my food, but this was picture worthy. When I go on my next trip over here, I will definitely take a picture to post. I never thought about going to a hospital to get food unless I had to be there that goes to tell you something about this place.”
