“TLDR: If you are looking for an excellent example of shabu shabu that won't leave you feeling stuffed and are ok with at least a $50 price point per person OTD this place is a great choice.
This is an example of you get the quality you pay for. On the positive the quality of all ingredients from broth to meat and veg are outstanding. The broth at a shabu shabu resturant is all important and too often it is lacking. Here the broth is a focus as is quality and one can tell.
On the negative there is some sticker shock with their menu given other resturants in a similar cuisine offer more quantity for half the price. I would advise looking at the menu before going. If you are OK with the pricing going in, it will be easier to enjoy. For my part I was simply walking past and decided to try it. Understand this is not an all you can eat resturant. However the quality of both the ingredients and service far exceeds what one would get at an establishment focused on making a profit by volume.”

“This place is bomb. A coworker recommended it. I walked in and told the girl in line behind us to go ahead because we had never been there before. She said me either! And we all laughed about that. This place is cool tho. Laid back vibe, friendly employees. The burger…probably the best I have ever had, no joke. This is exactly how I like them. A real smash burger with crispy edges. Double was $8 and it comes with grilled onion, bacon, cheese, sauce and you can add a lot of other stuff. Fries were perfect, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and good seasoning. When we left we said thanks and the guy in the back said “hey see you guys tomorrow?” I was like…yeah lol…cause he might. If not tomorrow we will for sure be back very soon. Give this place a chance, you won’t be sorry.”

The sandwich comes with chips included which I loved! Okay, I just took my first bite and the sandwich is delicious. I love Snacks so much!”

“Now it’s time for a review. I have been here at least 20 times since it is around the corner from my Job on Kendall. Everything I ever ordered was so good, so hot, and so fresh! My favorites are the 2 sopes of asada combo plate, or the 3 carnitas street tacos combo plate with rice and beans, or the asada torta combo with fries and a soda - Soooo good! Today I ordered something different - a grilled chicken burrito with rice, beans, and cheese inside(instead of the pico/guac). It was so hot and delicious I ate it while driving home lol.
Every time I eat here I always say “ I gotta leave a good review!” Well here it is. Oh and I can’t forget the young guy who works the drive-thru at around 8pm is always so nice and never gets my order wrong. That means a lot to me because with so many options competing for my dollar I’d rather go to a place like this where the food is good and the service is super friendly.”

This one might not be in the nicest area. The location might not be the fanciest, but it's authentic, and the family running it provides great, friendly, competent service at a VERY fair price.

“The pizza box is a little greasy as the pictures show but that is normal for most pizza places these days. The pizza itself is not very greasy. It is not very thick but that’s a good thing. The bread is very soft, even after you microwave it. The toppings are good they provide a fair amount. The cheese is good it does not fall off in chunks as some pizzas do.
The crust is seasoned with garlic and it’s good. The underside of the pizza is similar to papa John’s. However, this pizza is better because it’s softer. It’s not the best pizza but it’s better than frozen pizza and it’s better than Caesar’s. It’s a modestly good pizza and it’s definitely worth buying again.
They have good customer service as well, they provide plates, crushed peppers and Parmesan cheese. The garlic bread bites are seasoned with Parmesan cheese and garlic herbs, there is nothing on the inside but the bread is soft and good. Prices are fair as well. Overall, a good pizza place.

“I’ve been eating from here for about a decade. The food all around is great. I will always order the Camarones Toreados. Stuffed yellow peppers with cheese and shrimp wrapped in bacon and fried. It’s one of the best plates they have there. One tip, they offer bigger portions when you dine in, and give smaller portions to go. Not a deal breaker, and definitely hasn’t stopped me from ordering out.”

“Pizza heaven. We tried a small deep dish with half Little Star and half Mediterranean Chicken. I can't decide which side I liked better because they were both phenomenal. It costs $1 extra for two kinds on one pizza and be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes for your pie to cook. The space is small but we did not have to wait too long for a Saturday night.”

Dr. Lim and Dr. Jackson were amazing in prescribing medication and setting up referrals for me. They were professional and compassionate. “This place is bomb. A coworker recommended it. I walked in and told the girl in line behind us to go ahead because we had never been there before. She said me either! And we all laughed about that. This place is cool tho. Laid back vibe, friendly employees. The burger…probably the best I have ever had, no joke. This is exactly how I like them. A real smash burger with crispy edges. Double was $8 and it comes with grilled onion, bacon, cheese, sauce and you can add a lot of other stuff. Fries were perfect, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and good seasoning. When we left we said thanks and the guy in the back said “hey see you guys tomorrow?” I was like…yeah lol…cause he might. If not tomorrow we will for sure be back very soon. Give this place a chance, you won’t be sorry.”
