“They definitely need more staff and a good cleaning. When I visit the restaurant the chef was working by herself she was super friendly. The pupusas had a good flavor and good cheese. 3/5 only because they were a little greasy.Horchata 4/5 it was missing some flavor.“
“Great cheese & bean pupusa. Good hot sauce, and plenty of it. The cabbage curtido hit the spot for a perfect combo. Amy, thank you for your food, your service, your generosity, and sharing, and your love of putting out great food, Victor, Wild Elk Den Restaurant, Chandler, AZKid-friendliness: Treated like everyone else“
“We live in the nearby mountains and this place is our go to before heading back up. Our commute home from the pupuseria is about 30 minutes and they’re still hot when we get home. That’s a win!Pupusas are good, casamiento is delicious, and the couple times we’ve came, the plátano has been ok, not great.Pricing is perfect!“
“As Mexican American who had visited El Salvador in the past, those dishes remind me of my vacation in Suchitoto, El Salvador. The breakfast ones are a must-have for those who never visited El Salvador or had Salvadoran breakfast. Definitely coming back again!“
“I was looking for a place that had quesa Birria tacos and found this location on Yelp decided to give it a try. Restaurant is ran by a husband and wife. Wife was very welcoming and offered suggestions. We were not disappointed. Ordered the quesa Birria tacos and potato tacos. Both were made fresh with good flavor. Quesa Birria tacos included consome. Location is tiny but they offer outdoor seating. Parking is located at the back of restaurant. Also keep in mind location is cash only! Will be back in future to try other items.“
“Despite not being from El Salvador, I love their food, especially this place, which has great service, delicious pupusas and a clean place. Congratulations to those who prepare the pupusas, especially! Everything is very richWheelchair accessibility: The entrance is wide to pass with wheelchairs“
“This review comes from a Salvi person who loves his native food. Food Here is really good. I frequent it here. They put out food in a timely manner after placing the order. It is a sit-down restaurant, but you do have to order at the counter and pay upfront.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Guacamoles . This Salvadorean restaurant offers a variety of authentic dishes, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.I started my meal with the pupusas, which are thick, griddle-cooked tortillas filled with various ingredients, such as cheese, beans, and meat. I ordered the pupusas revueltas, which are filled with a mixture of cheese, beans, and pork. The pupusas were perfectly cooked and the filling was delicious. For my main course, I ordered the plato típico salvadoreño, which is a traditional Salvadoran dish that includes rice, beans, fried plantains, and a choice of meat. I chose the carne asada, which is grilled steak. The steak was tender and flavorful, and the rice and beans were cooked perfectly.I also ordered a side of the yuca frita, which is fried yucca root. The yuca frita was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It was a delicious and satisfying side dish.“
“Stopped here to try the pupusas and they are amazing. Super good and the customer service is amazing and very pleasant and clean eating area.Very good food and excellent service. I tried the quezo pupusas and they are good. The eating area is super clean and very pretty.“
