First up - the atmosphere was great, being in the HRC Hotel. Because of that it was also expensive as one might expect. The service was absolutely wonderful for the one time I ate here.Second - The food was okay, for the prices, I would expect more... specifically a chef that understood how to cook eggs. Quick breakfast on a Thursday morning. Pleasant, clean booth. Easy, friendly service. Typical convention clientele.I got their huevos rancheros, which were simple and fairly priced.
Maryjane’s is the cafe style restaurant inside the Hard Rock hotel in San Diego and while I realize that we can’t expect much from that type of place, usually the Hard Rock name provides a bit more quality. We went on an afternoon after a Padres game and it was almost completely empty. While we were seated promptly it took close to 15 minutes for anyone to come and take our order.
